Bring your own reusable bags for when you end up buying more than you thought you would. 😉 Fruits, Veggies, Meats, Cheeses, Flowers and hand made jewelry to name a few. Refreshing horchata and pineapple juice were the perfect drinks to break up our shopping, and we closed out our trip with a few goodies from the taco truck.

Farmer Todd always gives us a great experience, and we buy bushels and bushels of apples, sweet potatoes, onions, red potatoes, squash of all kinds and more. We love the raspberries, kale, cabbage, honey, plums, peaches, tomatoes, and now even baked goods! No need for the farmers market when you can get to Peach Ridge Farm!!

Luiza Rikhman: Stopped by on our way home to Chicago and were amazed at the kindness of the gentlemen who helped us. We got peaches, blueberries, tomatoes, eggs all for a great price! They have raw honey, garlic, potatoes, onions and plenty of other goodies. Will definitely be back!

Brechtings is my go to the week of Thanksgiving, it's the only market that I buy my squash and Brussel Sprouts from. Of course I stop through out thier season for other veggies, but it has become a tradition to stop there before they close for the season. Great seasonal farm market, great family, cheerful clerks, it's just a great no frills market.

Jocelyn Flint: Looking for a quiet, old-school farm for buying fresh vegetables and picking your own fruits and veggies? LOOK NO FURTHER. My family first tried places like Schwalliers and Dunnebacks for pumpkins and fall fruits, but both places were as packed as a mall on Black Friday...so crowded! So we did some last-minute searching on Google Maps and stumbled upon Brechtings Farm Market instead. We are so happy we did! They had gorgeous veggies (cabbages the size of soccer balls, anyone?), wonderful u-pick pumpkins, and delicious caramel apples. We chatted with the owner who told us that they've been around for over 150 years and are proud to offer a quiet and steady alternative to the bigger circus-like farms. Everything was fantastic, staff were friendly, and prices were spot on. We have lived in GR for 13 years and are wondering why it took us this long to find this hidden local gem. We will return! This is a MUST for everyone in the greater Grand Rapids area.
