Roam by San Chez: what do users think?
Eric Decker: I wish I could eat everything on the menu.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jeff Young: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Jessy Valentine: The fish and chips i ordered was well prepared and tasted good but it was the only option on the menu i could order and I wasnt really in the mood for it. This one doesnt cater to easily upset stomach, everything is pork, cheese, or spicy.Wheelchair accessibility: I use a wheelchair and it was not easy to get through, they do provide a ramp but the tables are densely packed. When leaving i had to get out of my wheelchair and hop down two stairs because there was no room to get back to the ramp.
Dan Holmes: You like your taste buds don't you? But you probably take them for granted. Maybe you go days, even weeks without even thinking about your taste buds. How do you sleep at night? Ignoring your trusty ol' buds like that? Here's a way to treat your buds to a special gift: dine at Roam. Your buds will do a cartwheel. Not literally. That would be a health risk.Roam offers street food from around the world. Without having to leave Michigan, you can taste menu items from Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia, you name it.Do you have a hard time making everyone in your party happy? That won't happen at Roam. Everyone can find something they love.
Michelle Belanger: Great place to explore different foods and flavors!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Greg Mckellar: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Caitlin W.: I ordered the Singapore curry, a vegetarian (I think vegan, actually) coconut curry with tofu, potatoes, and other vegetables. There were some pickled onions included that were a really nice contrast to the other flavors. It came with white rice and some tasty paratha. It was all good. The restaurant has some neat lanterns hanging from the ceiling, but I didn't get a picture of them. My server was efficient and friendly. It's a bit on the pricey side, but not outrageous.
C F: Decent enough for a small bite/drink. The veggies with the hummus looked like they found them in the bottom of the bin, the burgers were very greasy- like puddle of grease on the plate that soaked through the bun/sit in your stomach heavily for hours type, the fried potato bites i really wanted to be good but they did not have any flavor beyond potato/oil. I'm thinking it was an off day.
Tegan Jenkins: Great food and I really like their street food themeFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Hash Balls, Banh MI …More
C.G.L.: Elevated dishes from around the world served by attentive staff in a laid back atmosphere.
Ani Sarkar: Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian optionsFood: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Mango Sticky Rice, Kati Roll, Paratha Tacos …More
Allen Ross: Many interesting dishes for a diverse selection of tastes. Recommend sharing dishes between several people as I would not have wanted to eat a couple of our dishes as a single entree. The Bao were fab! If I was to get a single entree, the Bao would be it.
Brett Dilley: This place is almost perfect. Eclectic, they have vegetables, international flair, etc. I had the skewers though and they were like rubber. Great drink. Tasted like an Astro pop. Spare ribs were assumed incorrectly to be like kalbi...they were a pile of just spare ribs without a sharp enough knife to attack them.Service was very attentive, ambiance is good as well.
Lilly Baker: I only went here once, but I wasn't overly impressed with the menu options, especially for the price point. Off course that is just my personal opinion, but I probably won't be back. I did have a fun cocktail that had a popsicle in it, but the food wasn't as good or as much of quantity as we were hoping for the prices.
Joseph Messer: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Explore With Steggie: Fantastic experience! We will definitely add Roam to our regular restaurant rotation. Loved the vibe! Slim but good wine list. The apps were really my favorite part of the menu. I may just focus on starters and wine next time. Several vegetarian options. Our server, Ashley, was very attentive and gave great suggestions on the food and the wine. We took the Mango Sticky Rice to go.Vegetarian options: Loved the Hash Balls, Samosas, and Suppli. All were vegetarian appetizers and so delicious!
Jodi Smith: Walking by & found this gem of a restaurant. The curry delicious, but the mango sticky rice was straight up life changing! Our server Alfie made some fantastic recommendations that helped us eat gluten free & was so good about checking on us - we're only in town for a few days but will likely eat here again.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mango Sticky Rice …More
David Kreter: Soggy fries cold burger for $20Food: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Brent Parzuchowski: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Kati RollMore
Nathan Ver Beek: We have had ROAM on the list to visit for a long time and we finally got a chance today. We should have come much sooner! The poké bowl and kimchi bokkeumbop were both excellent. Highly recommend adding the seared ahi tuna to the kimchi.Service was super fast and friendly. We will absolutely return again to try more menu items.
Shilpa Mathew: Loved the place!! Went with colleagues and wanted to take my family there.Food was really good with distinct options and tasty too..Recommended dishes Gua Bao, Kati Roll, Poutine, Paratha Tacos …More

Palio - Grand Rapids: what do users think?
Marian Starr: Me and the entire family (about 9 of us) got sick as a dog. Daughter was rushed to the hospital.
Christopher Atkins: The food is awesome here! I've tried most of the entrees and pasta dishes and haven't gotten anything that wasn't amazing. Service can be hit or miss depending on server. I sit at the bar and have Justin take care of me and he's awesome. Shrimp scampi is probably my favorite.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Carbonara …More
Zlatko Znidarcic: Best pizza in town. Great staff!
Lilia B: Ambiance: I came here during the evening and the lighting is perfect.Atmosphere: It could get noisier I imagine, but wasn't all that noisy when I ate.Food: the pasta was really good! The noodles were a perfect al dente, and the sauce was creamy and cheesy and not too oily or dry. The desert (not pictured) was very good as well. The Pane di Caramello was the desert I had.Overall: I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner dates and there is a private room for big parties as well! I will be coming back here to try other dishes! :)Edited to add: you can also get vegetables added to your Fettuccine Alfredo.Vegetarian options: They have pasta made of vegetables and vegetarian options.Wheelchair accessibility: The door to get in is a good width. May need help holding door open on way in. Turn left and you go through another door.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options and mention to let the server know if you have any allergies as well.
Alexandry Pena: Sadly couldn't give a proper review on food or service. We went there with a group of 8.. they said they didn't have any seating for that Large of a group. But then we noticed as we were leaving two groups of four were able to get in? Maybe it's a reservation type of restaurant and we were walk-ins in their defense.. just felt a bit brushed off but could have been other reasons too. The place did look nice and will try again sometime in the future.
Brandon LeAnnais: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Lisa Chang: Delicious and tasty for a hidden gem on the Medical MileRecommended dishes Tiramisu, Calamari Fritti, House Salad …More
Narae Yang: Had dinner here last night and it was wonderful. The host really went out of his way to find us a table even though there was initially a 45 min wait. The staff was so friendly, and the food came out so fast and was delicious! Definitely will be coming back to dine here again :)
Nathan Spratt: I've been to sister location in Ann Arbor (although 3+ years ago). Not sure if it's the location, or it's changed ownership over the years, but this was really disappointing. The Bolognese had hardly any sauce and the pasta was overcooked. The servings were much smaller, and the tiramisu was mostly whipped cream with very little coffee flavor.
A “The Administrator” H: They have a tiny parking lot, so we had to park pretty far away because all the spots were taken. They didn't have any vegan options on the menu but a few things could be tailored to be vegan. I had the broccolini and eggplant spaghetti dish. The sauce was bitter and bland and the broccolini was also very bland. Their drink selection was ok and the servers were attentive and I have no real complaints with the service. The atmosphere was ok, but not great. It was pretty dark in the restaurant and it was acceptionally cold. I have no desire to go back.Vegetarian options: They had a few vegetarian options but not really anything vegan. But you could tailor one of the dishes to be vegan.
sandy nicholson: Food lacked taste and Sangria watered down.Dan, our server, was fabulous!!Vegetarian options: Vegan pizza
Sara T: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
A. T.: We ordered the Mezzaluna pasta, and pizza with artichokes. The pizza was delicious, however the pasta was very disappointing. The sauce was overpowering and acidic. We were unable to order the dessert that we wanted to enjoy with our coffee. The cappuccino was good but not outstanding. The server explained the Mezzaluna dish as stuffed shells with rin meat on top. She said it's one of her favorites, we decided to trust her recommendation. We were very surprised to receive something completely different. They were stuffed ravioli in a sauce with spinach. Very disappointed in the dish. I would've ordered something else, and I didn't want my company to feel embarrassed to talk to a manager as suggested. In addition, as a European, and lover(s) of Italian cuisine, it surprised me the menu lacked lasagna, seafood linguini, and some other important staples.Pizza - 5☆Atmosphere - 4☆Music - 5☆ (orchestra, Pavarotti, etc.)Service - 3.5 ☆Seating comfort (booth/table) privacy/ space - 5 ☆Cappuccino - 3.5 ☆
Elizabeth Spratt: I think the biggest issue we had was our memory of going to Palio in Ann Arbor. This one in Grand Rapids had a totally different vibe and the food was not nearly as good. If they were advertised as a wood fire pizza place who happens to serve decent pasta, I would not have been so disappointed. I got the Bolognese. Hardly any meat: micro amounts, and it was a bit dry. I asked for more sauce & they were happy to accommodate. Service was excellent. We were a party of 9. It was my birthday and Tiramisu is my absolute favorite dessert. There’s was a major disappointment. Disproportionately heavy on the whipped cream, no coffee flavor to the lady fingers, and chocolate sprinkles. It wasn’t bad, especially if you were looking for a whipped cream like dessert and not the classic tiramisu. Again, the food was good, service was outstanding- it just wasn’t the premier homemade pasta high-end Italian we were expecting.
Sean “Murph”: Stopped in with my folks and had an amazing experience, the appetizers and pizza were delicious and the service was exceptional.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
amy wilson: Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes CarbonaraMore
Sandra Bertin: Real Italian food. Made from scratch. Good wine selection, great service. You need to leave some space for dessert!
Tristin Orbeck: First time here and it was absolutely astounding. Kara (our server) was very informative on every question we asked and kept making us laugh. She was super sweet and very personable. Give this girl a raise! 5 star! Also the food was beyond expectation! My girlfriend and I are definitely coming back for that Pollo Di Mostarda and the chicken parmigiana!
Mark Van Skyler: Great food and service as always! Recommend the salmon and tiramisu.
Alex Mac Donald: Nice place, good food, friendly service! I recommend this little spot BIG TIME! Your tasye buds will thank me later.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parmesan Bundle, Chicken Carbonara, Tiramisu, Margherita Pizza, Calamari Fritti, Classic Fettuccine Alfredo …More
Jon Go Unchained: First timer. I’ll be going back. Attentive staff, reasonably priced. Great food & unique drinks. I could see this becoming my favorite restaurant.Recommended dishes Limoncello Bar, Tiramisu, Calamari Fritti, Classic Fettuccine Alfredo …More

Rose's: what do users think?
Jen K: Rose's is a great place to meet for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is enticing. The waitstaff is busy, but attentive.I have always enjoyed my food. The fresh bread is delicious! This particular visit, I ordered the margarita pizza. I did not care for it. I typically enjoy eating margarita pizzas because they are a light, fresh version of pizza. Rose's version does not include margarita sauce.Hmm.It was made of crust, cheese, a few tomato slices and basil. Pretty dry.I gave Rose's 5 stars because I enjoy this restaurant and many other dishes they offer.Plan to park down the road, and 3-5 minute walk, unless you are lucky.
The Kontrar: Always good food and service. Everything you could want in a restaurant except the parking can really suck!!

Julie Boelens: FYI: Menu & prices have NOT been updated on the “Rose’s restaurant page! Was VERY disappointed for my “birthday dinner” of choices for gluten free! GF options were VERY limited! We left a cash tip and my credit card was charged $10 more! I called & asked for the manager! Waiting to hear back! Also my husband said “He’s had a better steak at other places!” He ordered the flank steak!Dietary restrictions: Was really disappointed! We went to Rose’s for my birthday and I was limited to the choices of Gluten free! (I didn’t want fish I had that the night before!)We were going to split the 12 oz steak that’s no longer on the menu! The burger prices have also changed quite a bit since this is not updated either!Would have been nice if there were more GF options for dinner entrées!
Eddie White: Our server Rachel was stellar and it's a cool place to go to. It has a nice view of the lake! However, the food was definitely not worth the price and was overall underwhelming.Vegetarian options: PlentyDietary restrictions: Many Vegan Options

Dan Olson Sr.: Went in for a late supper. Waited over an hour for our food. Our server was sincerely apologetic. Then she had to come and tell us they didn't have enough sauce for the chicken Alfredo, after 45 minutes. They asked us if we wanted to wait while they made more sauce. We said no bring it out with what they had. It was okay, but the noodles were all dried out from sitting under the heat lamps along with the rest of the entrees. Our server felt so bad she got the manager to talk to us. He informed us that this was not his restaurant, he was just filling in. Then asked us if we wanted more? Really???? He did not reduce our check. I've never had trouble with Olive garden in the very many times I chose to dine at one in the past. What a let down.Kid-friendliness: 👍Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible.

The reason for three stars is due to our waitress not doing as good of a job and my father found a hair in his salad.Recommended dishes Chicken and Gnocchi Soup, Chicken Alfredo, And Breadsticks …More
