Alan and Jen Albaitis: We purchased a Karastan "rug" a year or so ago from Klingman's. The customer service was good. The product has been sub-par. I paid $600, and the edges continue to fray. It looks like a chunk was just cut off from a roll of carpet and placed inside the box. I could have saved a bunch of money and bought a different rug somewhere else.
Nikki Snyder: UPDATE: Communication has not been great in regards to the 3 items that we purchased. I've had to reach out to inquire on the estimated time of arrival for each of the items we ordered. We were quoted 3-6 months on the chairs. After 5 months with no communication, I reached out AGAIN to inquire. We were told that one chair is in (we were never contacted about it. It was just sitting in the warehouse) and the other chair/ottoman won't be ready till mid July. I understand that there can be delays with the manufacturer but why wasn't that communicated with us? They asked us if we would like to set up delivery for the chair that been sitting in the warehouse but then we are paying 2 delivery fees. Good for Klingman's I suppose. We had such a great experience ordering the items I'm VERY disappointed with how it seems to be turning out. I feel as if it was all about the sale at this point.I must say furniture shopping is an interesting experience. I found that the higher end shops are quick to judge you on your appearance. I encountered that at a few different places and I thought Klingman's was going to be no different. When we first walked in we were looking at a couch that was near 2 employees. Not one of them greeted us and we were very interested in the couch we were looking at. We decided to take a quick look around before we left. That's when Michelle B. came over. Michelle was AMAZING!! I had been struggling to find a couch that fit in our new place. Michelle went above and beyond to help us. She showed us around a few different pieces and was very helpful in getting prices for us.Then she went one step further by offering to help us figure out our design for the new house. We picked out a couple of pieces that we really liked. We came back the next day and she had different rugs, fabrics and color palettes to choose from. She was so thorough and incredibly helpful as I was lost on how to design our new space.I cannot recommend Michelle enough. Her passion for interior design shines through and I'm so thankful that she came over to help us. The furniture we've gotten so far is so sturdy and incredibly comfortable. Thank you for all your help Michelle! We truly appreciate it and your incredible vision :)

Kim Lamb: Of all Michelle’s qualities, I do believe her listening skills are the keenest which I believe such an asset when decorating. She attentively listened to how I envisioned the spaces I was furnishing, and immediately set to task identifying pieces that all reflected that vision. Her selections were perfection, and her ability to describe color coordination meticulous; something I am not particularly skilled at. She was incredibly patient, timely responded to questions and was attentive to all my needs. I most certainly will work with her in the future. Thank you!
Paula Scrimger: I wish there was a way to give Michelle Brown at Klingman's more than a 5 star review. Someone needs to bring on the 10 star option! Michelle is an incredibly talented designer and a phenomenal person. She's informative, honest, a great listener, and she made our experience fun. She went WAY above and beyond just helping us pick new furniture....she envisioned a cozy, welcoming living space with the comfortable feel we hoped for. From the couch and ottoman down to throw pillows, paint color and accessories, she pulled together a curated collection AND helped us stay within our budget. I personally find it difficult to weed through all of the furniture choices, colors, and fabrics into a cohesive look on my own, but she made that part surprisingly easy. We are so excited about our purchases! Thank you again, Michelle, for helping us create a gorgeous living space. You are incredible!

Victoria Granzow: Having had previous exceptionally good service, I contracted in March 2022 for a reupholstery project. After an almost four month wait, I finally contacted Klingman’s to advise that our sofa must be returned by July 22, either with the work completed or not. The work was completed but with the wrong size of (too wide) and wrong fill in the cushions. Details for the cushions were discussed with Klingman’s personnel and the upholsterer, drawings and written instructions were provided, additional charges were added for the fill as stipulated in the contract.I contacted the Klingmans salesperson on July 25 and the owner on July 27 to discuss this problem.My experience with Klingman’s thus far has been disappointing.Friday, August 5 - My sofa cushions were picked up August 2 and returned reworked on August 4. Both the size and fill are as I ordered. The upholstery is beautifully done.Thank you, Klingman’s for following through.

Weren't greeted or helped at all, even though it wasn't busy. The salespeople that did notice us gave us dirty looks before moving on. Debby Rad: David Isreals and Michelle Brown put together a great plan for our office's soft-seating needs. They created an atmosphere that is much more colorful, warm, and inviting for every employee and visitor. It has been fun to be part of the process with them as they made suggestions and allowed us to pick from the options they presented. It has been a pleasure working with them and Michelle has been great continuing to see through all the details even with all of the supply delays.

Its worth the drive to visit Klingman's.We now will go nowhere else.

M: Our hammered glass set is cracked and now leaks after only one year of use. They do not seem to be top rack dishwasher safe. Went to the store and was told to call corporate. 30 mins later, customer service rep says her supervisor says there is nothing that can be done. So much for you pay for what you get. Disappointed and will be shopping elsewhere.
Emily Lemmen: BEWARE! Do not order furniture from Pottery Barn. They lost all 8 of our custom dining chairs with no explanation and no help on rushing the items. Everything has been delayed and doesn't arrive on time. If you are furnishing your home I would look elsewhere for furniture. Worst experience I have ever had with a company.

Sally Haveman: I bought six of these stools and after six weeks the rubber on the bottoms of the chairs cracked and broke off, couldn’t believe it because I paid approximately 200.00 for each stool. I called and was told they would contact me by email the next week, they never did. I called again and was reassured they were working on it and would contact me, again nothing. I have replaced all the sliders on the bottom of the chairs. Very disappointed with the quality and service of the Pottery Barn!
Rilee Hammond: If I could post this review without leaving ANY stars I would - because of how terrible the customer service in this store is. My mom has spent thousands of dollars here trying to create her dream kitchen, and I have watched her be treated poorly here several times, and even bare snotty remarks from the employees. The whole VIBE in here is unfriendly. You get better customer service walking into your local Walmart. She is now driving to the Lansing Pottery Barn because she is so tired of the way they treat her here. Absolutely ridiculous , and upsetting. They’re better off to fire all of their staff and start over - EXCEPT for Mary Beth who is sweet as pie. Hopefully you can keep her around all of the negative women in there. Good LUCK!
Kevin Skinner: I dont see what the fuss is. Yes they have unique and great looking items here but their prices are insulting. $1500 for a basic looking headboard. Every item I picked up or looked at was way over priced. If you're willing to pay ridiculous prices for unique items then this is the place for you.

They were rude and short both in the store and hung up with me on the phone. We have purchased hundreds if not thousands of dollars of merchandise on our wedding registry and were treated very poorly.

In less than a year the fabric was frayed, the cushions were badly deformed, and the wooden structure inside the sofa was broken and creaking. I would expect much higher quality from Pottery Barn. Worse, because I contacted them 1 year 2 months after the sofa was delivered (2 months over their warranty) they won't do anything for me. This was an expensive purchase and I am extremely disappointed.

Gary Lemke: It is slightly over priced for the selection they have. Their fleet of trucks are looking sad and they could probably pay their warehouse staff a little more if they really want to present an image of selling a high end product.

S: Overall great service, however 3 stars because the person who helped us repeatedly touched the outside middle part of their mask to adjust it (not just the top edge), then the chairs (the back part and armrests). The outside of the mask should be considered to be contaminated with CoV2, potentially, and should not be touched. Please communicate this to your employees. We will of course clean the products we purchased. Otherwise, thanks for the service!

John Crankshaw: This is my Home Depot store. Stopped in today for a few things. Lots of associates around to direct me to various aisles making for a fast in-and-out.

WHEN YOU CALL THE TOLL FREE 'CUSTOMER SERVICE' LINE YOU GET SOME HALF-WHIT WORKING FROM THERE HOME BEDROOM WHO, AFTER BEING ON HOLD FOR INHUMANE AMOUNT OF TIME, WILL FINALLY TELL YOU THAT THEY KNOW NOTHING AND CAN DO NOTHING. Mistah J: “Paul Hamilton” spent an hour explaining what his team can do, and then another hour waiting on the phone with Home Depot credit card to approve. Got approved, agreed to the work (cabinet laminate applied, new cabinet drawers installed, new cabinet doors installed, new sink, and new countertops). Paul walked us through what would happen when work started. He’d be there day 1, along with his team for introductions, and then he’d hand off to the team to get the work done. Day comes, and no Paul only a single, independent contractor. Confirmed with the contractor the work to be done, and he has no idea about the countertops. Little weird but okay, Paul mentioned there would be a trainee to get some work experience sandpapering. Whole week goes by and there’s only that one contractor doing all the work who has no idea about our countertops and sink. Call his manager and same thing, no clue about the countertop and sink. Call Paul now and he says, “did you order countertops? Let me call you back later when I’m done with my client.” Calls me back the next day and says, “you didn’t order any countertops.” We go back and forth about what we spoke about, and he says he needs to talk to his manager and call me back. Paul calls back and says because he and I can’t agree, his manager “Reese Boosini” would call us to talk details about what we could do. Waited a week for that call and nothing, now 3 months later and haven’t heard anything. To top it all off, I had to call the credit card support number because they removed our special promotion. Support was able to reapply it but just another to watch for some this business of scammers.
emotionsickchick: Purchased a dishwasher ($1000 paid at purchase, not credit) on December 18 and arranged for delivery, which wasn’t available until January. This wasn’t an issue though as we were moving in January and preferred a delivery date shortly after we moved in. Delivery date was arranged for January 28. Two days before the arranged date of delivery we get notice that our delivery date is now pushed out to February 15, two and a half weeks later. After calling several provided numbers and finally talking to someone who seems to know something, not much but something, it’s discovered that Home Depot sold the appliance in question without actually knowing for sure they’d have it in stock to deliver, which they don’t. I don’t suppose this is too out of the ordinary, as there are plenty of places dealing with inventory and supply issues. It is what it is.More frustrating than the delay, which is frustrating enough, is that the person on the phone told us that after delivery Home Depot will try to make it a little better by offering some sort of incentive or something, only she can’t disclose what it might be. I suspect they don’t disclose anything about this incentive in the case that you find out it’s something like $5 off your next $1000 purchase made in 7 days or something that’d likely make you cancel your purchase all together and just go elsewhere.If that’s not enough, the most frustrating thing is that I can look online for the exact dishwasher and add it to my cart as if I’m buying it and the earliest delivery date offered to me is February 10, a full five days earlier than the date they’ve given me for the item that’s already bought and paid for 6+ weeks ago.Tony in the appliance department at this location is fantastic and he’s the reason the rating isn’t lower. Five stars for Tony, 1 star for the dishwasher delivery experience at this location.Edit to update: Today is February 15, friends, and instead of getting our call 30 minutes ahead of delivery we got a call saying the HD delivery truck got stuck in the mud this AM and was still stuck, as of 2:30. I was prompted to call a number to reschedule my delivery date. I had hoped there would be some sort of priority given to people who had been forced not once but twice to reschedule, but alas, the soonest availability is a week away. Whatever compensation is given when they delay your delivery better be twice as good, since we’re on delivery date #3 now. Hope the delivery on the 22nd goes off without a hitch, crossing my fingers but not holding my breath.
Brian: Went to get a 36 mm impact socket. They had no impacts of that size, and only a regular socket. Plus, it was 12 sided, not 6, and was an obvious return due to the gouges in the edges and hammer marks as well. Of course, they only had one.

M R: Navi helped me find a very specific garden hose I needed for an instacart client. It was in an odd place in the store I think bc it was a “seen on tv” kind of thing. It was super valuable to me personally that he was so calm and kind and seemed genuinely glad to help me out. Being in and out of a lot of stores I can tell you it’s rare to be helped by someone who seems like they want to help. His calm and friendly demeanor actually improved my mood too, it was awesome!
