After about a day they called and told me my transmission is bad and it will cost almost $12000. Katie Holloway: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!Especially if you are a female (young or old).I was recommended from an oil change shop to bring my car here. I was told that the staff members are good people and that they all go to church together. I was also told that they wouldn't take advantage of me because I'm a young female in college or screw me over.I ended up bringing my car here last week, and they essentially wanted to replace a sizable portion of my transmission, with a $4,500 estimate. I took it to another shop in Grand Rapids because this didn't seem right to me, and they claimed that both their estimation and the problem were entirely incorrect. In the end, I just had to replace a little component for only $500.Seeing other reviews for this shop this doesn't seem out of the blue from this place to do this to people.Please save yourself the $150 inspection fee and excessive (and false) estimate prices from this company. It disturbs me to think that they intended to use a young female (or anyone else) for their financial gain.

It was from the side and steaming, I said well it's not my radiator, but it's my fluid all over the parking lot. I googled places and I got Russ. He was so nice when I came in I had no fluid and low on oil also. He checked my van found what was wrong and in a couple hours had my daughter and I back on the road back home to Howard City. Great price, very nice did not lie or try to take advantage. I will use him again. Go see Russ, he is great. And I had to message him a while after this to ask what kind of fluid I needed to buy not to gunk up my system and mix fluids and he got back to me and helped me out over text. He is AWESOME. He has also very kindly taken time out of his busy day to look into a concern I had by riding in the car to identify what was wrong and explain it without charge. He recently did a ton of maintenance on my older car, and I’m very happy with his work.
Accounting DEPT: Russ is an amazing auto repair mechanic! I love the fact that he takes the time to explain what is wrong and includes pictures. Prices are reasonable and Russ isn't about scamming people like me who don't know a thing about cars.

When things don't go as planned (for example, some hoses needed for a repair were back ordered), he is communicative and helpful with those things, and super flexible (like letting you drop your car off overnight if you can't make it in the morning). Patricia Parnell: Tommy at Quality Auto service does it again. I have a 2010 Buick Lacross and my engine went straight out. I had three options, get a new car, rebuilt engine, or a new engine. That was simple I couldn't afford a new car so that was out and I've heard enough horror stories about rebuilt engines. So new engine it was. I wasn't thrilled but I knew it had to be done. Next question was who do I take it to Buick who quoted me 2,000 in labor along with some other garbage and a outrageous quote mind you, subject to change depending on what they saw once they started working on my car ( right get outta hear). It didn't matter I already knew where my car was going, Quality Auto Service. I even knew who'd do the job Tommy. I wanted to see how crazy of a price Buick would give me. Quality was $ 2000 cheaper with the warranty. Seriously my car is important so when it's down I'm down. Quality Auto had my car up and me running in three days. My car don't drive, it's floats✈️. It's drives that smooth. Bottom line if your looking for a good mechanic at a place with people who are real. Also, friendly, professional, and no- nonsense service and comparable prices(I ain't talking about no sweat shops or boot leg mechanics either) then check out Quality Auto. Tell em Patty sent you! Davina Jones: Brought my vehicle to this establishment because it wouldn’t start, I asked them to fix the problem as well as find any significant problems wrong with my vehicle. I get my vehicle back a day later and not even 20 miles later.. (or 24 hrs at that) my vehicle starts to overheat, something it never has never done before in my possession! When i called the following morning to report the inconvenience, as well as request a discount/ money back the mechanic exploded in anger! As I tried to remain calm, the mechanic that specifically worked on my vehicle violently explained that I wouldn’t receive any discount nor money back for the random inconvenience they have caused simply because they turned my vehicle back on!! Overall, their service isn’t accurate, having to take my vehicle to more than one auto shop because of the trauma i endure under their care! I say this with certainty that they will never receive my business again! Thanks for nothing ;)

Jeffery Madison: I brought my car in for a brake job because my usual shop was booked up. Thought it was pricey for brakes but I had a road trip coming up so I needed it done quickly. While the car was there, they noticed an oil leak from the transfer case and quoted me at over 1000 dollars for parts and labor. Took my car to a different shop. They charged me 350 dollars for the same job. Christian Brothers did a good job, but their pricing is outrageous.

Joanious 1220: Worst auto repair place EVER! They took me for a ride...but not in my car. They got more than $2,000 of my dough - including cleverly adding a last-minute $745 repair just a few hours AFTER I had agreed to the other work! The work supposedly included a wheel alignment for $130, but my car handled FAR WORSE after the work they did! I finally took it to another repair place to have it checked; They said the rear alignment was OFF & it was the reason I could not go over 60 mph without some SERIOUS swerving. I knew there was WAY too much play in my steering wheel! And now I need new tires because the bad alignment caused excessive wear! So don't believe it's all good work here as some of the reviews suggest! The ONLY thing christian about this place is their name - IT'S DEFINITELY NOT THE SERVICE!

I have had several problems with my Jeep Patriot as it was getting old, but Charlie fixed everything it needed and every time I get a oil change and tune up it runs like new, you will not be disappointed they also will get you in as soon as possible.

But it seems all the old reviews for this business on Goggle have disappeared so I'm reupping it.I've gone here twice. The first time was a spectacular experience. Professional with an estimate up front, fast repair turn around and fair pricing with a receipt at the end detailing all the work done. Based on that visit this would have been a 5*.However the second time was a vastly different experience. I made an appointment for an electrical problem. No estimate up front even when they identified the issue. They had my vehicle in the back about 45 minutes. And the guy came out told me they had to replace a switch and 2 4 foot lengths of wire. So in my head I'm thinking maybe $130-150. When he told me the cost was $247 I was shocked. I paid as I needed my vehicle and this time only receipt I got was the credit card receipt. I don't know why it was so much. There was 1 hour of labor and I looked up the switch and it was only $36. Must've been some either REALLY expensive wire or a HUGE mark up on the switch.So I decided this would be my last visit here. Even though they do a GREAT job with the repairs. I highly recommend that you get an estimate up front which and a detailed receipt at they end if you decide to come here.
