Waskar Martinez: Honestly not sure what to think here. I went there for an adjustment to new RayBan's. They told me that they could not help me because I did not purchased them directly from Sunglass Hut. I had actually emailed Ray Ban earlier that day looking for direction as to what to do to adjust my glasses as they are a bit tight. Later that day I received an email back from Ray Ban sending me to Sunglass Hut. Please see picture below. Now is Ray Ban wrong in sending me to Sunglass Hut or was Sunglass Hut just being lazy. I also went to the Sunglass Hut inside Macy's. The lady there told me she could and would be willing to help me but their machine was broken. She told me to go to the main store (this store, the one that sent me away). She told me they should be able to help me.
Banks Mulla: Never will I understand why they treat black people so "special" or give them extra help. Made me feel uncomfortable just to watch and listen to the comments after the guy and his kid left. Shame! I just need to know why before I assume rasict management techniques.

Wren Finnelan: Amazing customer service! He goes above and beyond for his customers. My husband wanted to stop in to show me what they had to offer and I was blown away! Store is very clean, well-organized, and professional. A whole variety of frames were shown and the sales-person was more than happy to assist us with finding frames. I didn't really intended on buying new frames, but I ended up falling in love with a pair. The salesman held them for me for over a week while I got my eye test done, and when I went in to pick them up/pay for them (right before close, which I apologize for), he adjusted them to fit me right there! I was a bit worried about the price but they are well worth it. They fit amazingly, look great with any outfit I have, and my husband gets a dopey look on his face whenever he sees me. I'm loving the anti-reflection lens too! I absolutely plan to come back in the future and I highly recommend them!

Extremely helpful people as well, who not only helped me pick out two pairs of beautiful spectacles, but were also kind enough to help me follow up with an insurance/billing issue. When we left the store, they also said to come back anytime if I needed help with any adjustments or fittings. Highly recommended.

Jared B: I found this place online because they are the only shop near Detroit that sells C&G...next closest was Chicago. Daryl helped me out and served as a very honest opinion of what frames looked best on me. His suggestions and knowledge proved invaluable. He also had the other gentleman working their double-check everything and he also was very knowledgeable and had good tips. The shop is small and trendy with a nice brand selection, including several models of my target brand. I brought my scrip from P3arl with me and it ended up being wrong...so wrong but it was the Pearl jack044 guy who does't have a clue. I went to Hank F0rd and they did it right. Daryl was patient with that whole process and got new lenses made up and shipped my frames back to me fairly quickly. This is my first pair ever and Daryl made the experience a positive one despite the issues I had with scrips. I will be recommending this place to any and everyone who will listen and I will be going back for scrip sunglasses and scrip funglasses. I highly recommend HyperOptik.

Avery Smith: My mom sister and I went into sunglass hut for my mom to buy sunglasses. We had to wait outside because there is a limit of four people. When we walked in we had to sanitize our hands. My sister grabbed a pair of sunglasses to look at and got glared at and the worker rudely said she can’t touch them and has to put them in the box so she can sanitize them. My mom wanted to try on a pair so they said they had to sanitize them first and my mom said she wanted to take her mask off for a split second so she can see herself fully with them on before spending $200 on them. She rudely said no you can’t take your mask off so we left. As we were walking out she had to remind us there is a pandemic going on as if we didn’t already know. They treated us very poorly and almost criminal like. I will not be going back and they lost a sale because of it.

I was rudely told to leave and then I kindly stated I had a medical exemption and an employee rudely stated I need an appointment. My husband and I were the only customers in the store. This was not a reasonable accommodation whatsoever. I had a babysitter tonight so that we could go buy glasses without carting out children around with us. They violated my rights as a disabled Veteran.

Kristy Keegstra: Dr Hunt was very polite and pleasant. He answered all of my questions and the exam was easy and fast. Everything in stock was nicely displayed and current. Prices weren't bad compared to other places. I prefer Lens Crafters to Pearle Vision, only because they have nice equipment and they don't have to dilate my eyes to look at my retinas. They have advanced equipment to show 3D renditions and explain everything thoroughly.
Chris Blatt: Everyone here was helpful and took the time to explain things. Doctor took the time to listen and address my questions.
Katie Willmer: Dr. Mandy Russell was honestly the best eye doctor I've ever seen. She was very kind, took her time and explained things wonderfully! I plan on returning to LensCrafters in the future for exams just for the customer service! Everyone was extremely helpful! I've been to MANY eye glass stores and this has been my best experience yet. Other places would rush me and have mediocre customer service. In fact the eye doctor I saw just prior to this visit actually rushed me and diagnosed me with the wrong prescription.

They went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered, that I felt comfortable with my contacts, and that I understood my insurance coverage. I genuinely can’t recommend these folks enough. Going forward, I will be coming exclusively to this location for my eye care.

Anthony West: I originally started going here 20 years ago because of their one-hour glasses.I needed safety glasses for a new job starting on the 6th of Feb. I went in on the 9th of January 2023 thinking that would be more than enough time.I was told that it should take about 10 days. (Far from their old "hour" guarantee.)After waiting for 2 weeks, I called to check on the status of my order.I talked to the current manager and she told me there was some type of holdup. I asked what kind and she said skew didn't know.I asked her to take my number and to let me know. She said she would. I never b heard back from her but assumed that the EXTRA 2 WEEKS would suffice.I called the Saturday before my job was to start to make sure they were now in the store to pick up. I talked to bill the on duty Mgr.I was told the same thing as 2 weeks ago.I asked when they would be available, and he stated that he didn't know. Then he seemed upset with me for complaining about how long it was taking. He stated that "well, I'll just give your money back and you won't have to worry about itIt's been 28 days since I ordered.I still can't see. My job is upset w/ me for not being able to see as I am a small-part ,cnc machinist.That's it... so unless you want to wait a month , go somewhere else.

Dave Hill (GoFly-MediaPix): I went directly to Oakley for my prescription glasses. Confusing part was I could order frames direct from the Oakley website but the store could not. They ordered my lenses for me, apparently they ordered them in another frame, which is on back order. They tried to tell me that the frames I ordered were delayed, when I received confirmation from Oakley and UPS that they were delivered and had proof of receipt. I asked for them to just get my lenses in and forget whatever frame they ordered just get the lenses. How difficult does it need to be? I ordered and received frames, just get my lenses! Not at all happy!

Alex Cowles at EyeGlass World worked with me to identify the problem & replaced two pair of glasses at no charge even though the error was not theirs. I highly recommend this company!!

John Durall: Buy a $280 pair of Costas and they just don't fit all that well but can't return them before the 60 days of purchase because the nose peice lost it's grip and are softer than normal from the heat we've had..? Just order your glasses online for cheaper only reason I go to a store and pay more is so they could help me if I had any problems and you can't even replace the nose pieces your store is a joke. just contact the brand name they said yeah don't worry I will and buy glasses from the brand names online now. So pathetic
