Crystal Schneider: Food tasted fine, service was fine, but the restaurant itself felt dingy to me. I was confused when we walked in and I thought we were going to be walked to the back for a seat and then I learned I was looking at the entire restaurant.The pictures on here are super deceiving imo. My husband and I went here for our wedding anniversary and got seated in a random corner that felt like an afterthought table was placed by a storage closet covered with a sheet. There were drywall chunks missing on the walls by us. It didn’t feel nice at all. If you want an upscale experience this place is NOT it. Will never be back.
Jeneen Hinkle: I visited Bowdies for the first time recently. I have been trying to get here since 2018 ish, as I work in Lansing, but l commute over an hour to work and am usually rushing to make it home after working all day. I'm glad I finally made it here! The service was great! I had the filet with mashed potatoes and a side of greenbeans! My steak and sides were good. I also tried the shrimp bisque, which was also good. However, I had the crab cake appetizer, and it was amazing! I've tried crabcakes in a lot of restaurants, even in Maryland, and this was hands down thee best crabcake I've ever eaten! I'll be back!

We started with scallops then got the Tomahawk steak for 2 with the Brussel sprouts and shrimp bisque. They even gave us a complimentary birthday dessert that was equally as amazing. matt clara: I had a $62 fillet mignon that was good. But I tell you what, I make a filet that is nearly as good and doesn't cost $62. Their porterhouse is $140. I made one last week that cost me $10 at Meijer's and had a filet attached that was more tender than the $62 filet I had at Bowdie's and that porterhouse tasted as good as any steak I've ever had, because I know how to season and sear them, and in the end I have to say Bowdie's is not worth the price.

Trevor: Did not have a sign that instructs whether to Seat yourself or Wait to be seated. After waiting for 4 minutes I sat myself. Waited for a few moments after being ghosted by my eventual server. I understand being frustrated that someone sat themselves and that has to make your staff adjust on the fly but not having someone greet your geluests for long periods of time and then being incredibly short and board line rude. I would not return to this establishment as they do not value the experience of their customer. Do yourselves a favor and invest in a seating sign.

Well we decided to try it again this week and were pleasantly surprised with our server. Jess. Absolutely went above and beyond and restored our faith in Cheddars! Best decision ever!Back to what brought me here. I ordered a catering order for my company safety meeting for Tuesday 5/23/23. The staff at the REO town location was very helpful with fulfilling my order. I asked for a noon delivery and they were right on time. The 2 girls that delivered and setup our order were very professional and made sure to cater to us in anyway we needed.If Matt or Travis see this I just want to say I appreciate what you do for the local community and that's why choosing Saddleback for my company's lunch was an easy choice. M Lowe: I am a meat person, my husband isn't. We both ordered beef tips tonight. It was the worst meal I have ever had at Texas Roadhouse. Most of my meat was not edible, some was cold, some of mashed potatoes were cold, green beans were barely warm. My husbands meal was fine. I left wads of chewed gristled meat on dish. Won't be going back any time soon.

J B: Equal to Outback.The steaks are cooked well. Unlike some steakhouses, they don't overcook it.I wouldn't go for anything else. Iceberg salad lettuce, all the fried items taste like flour (including onion and country fried items), and the rolls are over-hyped. They are just normal rolls with some weird cinnamon margarine on the side.Some of the servers didn't feel like they fit the venue. And I was surprised they still had Bud-Light/Weiser signs up.

Considering they took the time to ask us how spicy we wanted it, I expected to taste some spice, but overall I found the chicken bland and very oily. The creamy blue cheese sauce on the side was pretty good, but that's where most of the flavor came from.The chicken itself was juicy and well-cooked, and entirely too large for a sandwich, but considering the cost ($16), I think it was a reasonable portion (though if it were me, I'd charge less and make the portion smaller and more flavorful).The coleslaw I had on the side had a lot of sauce, but it didn't have a lot of flavor, either. I don't like sweet coleslaw, so in some ways I liked it better than other places, but I would've preferred *something*.The service was good, and I liked the classic sports bar style of the restaurant. The music was far too loud (but I think we were under a speaker, so that might not be true for the whole place), and we could barely hear each other talk. The men's restroom was clean, but definitely not accessible - I'm pretty small and I felt like it was too small to move comfortably in it, and I think someone would have a hard time in it if they had a walker or a wheelchair.

kalah royer: Visited here for the first time recently as an anniversary dinner. Everything was delicious! I was very happy with the portion sizes for the price. My husband had the crab pasta which was fabulous. The ricotta and goat cheese dip was a great starter, and my whitefish dish was super flavorful. Ended with the peanut butter chocolate cake. Not a bad bite to be had! The vibe was very modern and clean, overall a great night and we will hopefully be back!

E P: Website states this is a French bistro, where is the French inspiration in the decor or the French food? Food is expensive. A smash burger should not cost $18.00. The restaurant/customers have a pretentious vibe, this restaurant seems more fitting for Okemos than downtown. Drinks are well made. Two sandwiches and 2 drinks shouldn’t be almost $90. Overall this was a very basic and disappointing meal. If you are looking for an upscale experience go to bridge st. Social.
