Amy Dennis: I came into the store with a coupon for $75 off $200. I am a petite size pant, which is not regularly carried in store. I asked the store associate prior to shopping if I would be able to order petite. I was told yes. After spending time shopping and trying on clothes, I was told I couldn’t use the coupon because the online order needed to be split with the in store purchase. I then asked if I could order everything online. I was told the jeans that I had picked out actually did not come in petite sizes and when I asked to see what jeans did, the store associate was not able to show me. Guess I won’t be buying pants from Express anymore. Used to be my store of choice. No wonder the brick and mortar stores are going out of business!
Bianca Price: I have been an A list member since 2015. A note to other greater Lansing A list member the slim manager with the glasses does not care if you spend the amount of money to become a A list member. I asked to have my coupon reapplied (the same day) after I bought pants that were see through. She told me she was the "manager" and it is against company policy to reapply coupons. These were earned coupons from purchases.On top of that she was providing lost prevention customer service.Then I went to make a return, and she was overly hovering over the wonderful customer service person who is helping me make my return, as if I was going to try again to get a coupon around reapplied.I encourage all A- List customers to stay out of that store because it's not really the place for you.I hope it was worth aliening a customer who spends money that can assist in the stores daily/monthly/yearly goal.I feel undervalued, singled out and penalized. So, all my purchases will be made online and all returns made to the store.

She helped me find exactly the look I was looking for, helped with sizes and just really made it feel like a personal experience. One thing I truly respect was the honesty, when an outfit just didn’t look right, she was up front and helped me find something better. Really helped express that confidence. Thanks Lauren.

Gave her the best description I could with the pants I have, she picked out a variety of cute tops. She also helped me with find some cute heels to match! Bob Rios: Spent $325 during my visit. One of the items zipper in the pants were slightly defective and Donovan the manager couldn't even help me at all. In fact while he was ringing me up he didn't even ask how my shopping experience was, he didn't talk to me in fact he rang me up wrong and then didnt give me my 5% discount on my Express card and when I explained to him that he should let me know what he's doing he just continue to ignore me. I can't Express myself enough do not go to that location again

Addison Heinz: I would not recommend that anyone purchase from Grace’s without knowing their return policy. My first visit last week went well. I was looking for a graduation dress and I was speaking with the worker there about how unsure I was that the dress would match my red graduation gown. I ended up purchasing it with the intention to return it if I found a dress somewhere else. Upon check out I noticed a small sign about returns (that I guess I misinterpreted). I thought I had 7 days to return the dress or I could only get store credit. Actually, everything is pretty much FINAL SALE because any return will only be given store credit. I found this out when I visited the store today trying to return my dress. The owner very rudely told me I could only return it for store credit. I told her that I was not aware of that. She said rudely, “we have a sign”. I don’t think any of this is fair to the customer. The return policy sign should be larger and not stuffed between a bunch of smaller items like jewelry and hand lotion. When the customer is being checked out, the worker should give a verbal statement about the return policy ESPECIALLY when they know the customer isn’t certain they like the dress. My biggest issue with this situation is that the owner failed to sympathize with the customer. There was no apology and she had no interest in helping me. I was very upset leaving the store and the reason I kept the dress was because I never want to step foot in this boutique again. The owner made the environment very unwelcoming.
Kelly Rogers: This is the best boutique ever. It is such a treasure to have in Lansing. I have traveled and visited boutiques across the country and world, and this is by far my favorite. Grace curates a wonderful variety of clothing and accessories. Whether you are looking for posh polish or unique flare, this is your go to shop. There is something for every woman. And, the owner is perfectly pleasant. You will want to shop with her.

The Good Teacher: Love their denim, but….the staff stalks you. I am Black and already sensitive to this. I do not want to be approached more than once. Greet me and then let me shop in peace. And if I don’t ask you to start me a fitting room, CHILL! I just feel like that’s extra, IMO. Lastly, desk associate 6834174 (per receipt) was very rude. She helped me when I came in and then I needed to go try something on. When I came back to her, she told me to go to the end of the line and acted like she didn’t know who I was. With a rude tone said “well we have a line now so” and rolled her eyes. She has a ugly green streak through her hair and was sharing she went to college in FL with another guest. Anyways, when I worked in customer service I never did this. If I’m already helping someone and they come back, I assist them when I’m free next. She had NO ONE at her register and sent me to the end of line for an even exchange. One lady saw this and tried to help me on the side and then her iPad wouldn’t boot. To add insult to injury , the woman behind me in line ended up getting serviced before me. When I pointed this out the lady apologized, but still, walk over there and tell her to help me first , especially since you came and pulled me out of line. They could have just swapped the jeans and let me enjoy my day really. I recommend shopping online. I do not recommend Black women shopping here. You will not be treated with the dignity you deserve. You will be stalked, cut - but not allowed to cut, and forgotten about the moment you step away from an existing transaction. Do better Loft.

I love that each season the pieces are coordinated and can be built on one another. You also don't have to worry about things being see through or too low cut like you do with other stores. A tad pricier but there is usually always a sale. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Rob Ley: Tried returning two sweaters that I received after Christmas and they wouldn’t return it because it was a few days after their 30-day window. Had Covid and wasn’t able to make it in sooner. They didn’t care. Inflexible robots.

Matt Mansfield: There are so many cheap clothes places around, it's nice to walk into a store that offers great quality clothes. They look better, fit better and last longer! Service is great too. Yes it's a bit pricey but hey, you get what you pay for... literally. If you've been shopping at one of those discount chain stores, come get a few really nice pieces for your wardrobe. Not gonna regret it.

Very pleased.EDIT: I'd like to add that Banana Republic's clothing is of excellent quality. I've compared their shirts and pants from the likes of Jos A Banks and even Orvis's Barbour, and everything about the Banana Republic garments is superior, from material selection to small details, like that extra button and button hole way down below your waist line so as to present a neat and continuous seam down the front. The one downside to Banana Republic is the limited fit. If you're not a slim fit, you're not going to find what you need without going to a larger size, and that doesn't look good on anybody.
Sharon Petersen: I seldom go in this store as they only have xs and s sizes. They do have good fabric, well designed clothes and good prices right now but you will always have to have them order your size online. You can seldom take a purchase home with you which is a bummer. Thank goodness the staff is professional and helpful. I think this store should stock for people to buy and take home. It would be a better shopping experience.

Kevin McCreary: Don't expect much from this Urban outfitters, it's very small and so is the inventory.Update: They moved to the Eastwood town center parking is now easy and the store is much nicer. Still small but it’s a small city. Glad we have an urban outfitters!
Ed D.: Has taken way longer than the 24 hour window for pick-up order to be ready. I tried to call the store to see if anything was wrong, and no one is picking up.
Emily Jane: Smaller sale section than at the Somerset UO, but still a decent selection. I pretty much only shop out of the sale section, on account of being broke, but I still get fun stylish clothing, and the sales are generally pretty good. It's been 50% off the sale price the last three times I went in, which hopefully doesn't end any time soon, haha.
Megan Cole: Cancelled an order that I was really looking forward to and sent me a shirt that was waaaaayyyy smaller than I ordered. Spend your time shopping elsewhere!
Angela Sorrells: I've been shopping at Urban Outfitters for years beginning with their original location in downtown East Lansing.Regardless of your age, if you've adapted your own personal sense of modern/trendy style, Urban just may be a fun place to shop. We've dressed our daughter from here as well as purchased her room/apartment items as well.If you're looking for fun, cutting edge fashion with staff that doesn't follow you around and just lets you shop, check out Urban. Plus they almost always have a great sale going on. Definitely worth your time.
Rhiannon Shook: Every time I shop at this store I am sadly reminded of why I should not shop here anymore. Don't get me wrong, the clothes and accessories are super cute and I usually have a hand full of things to try on. However, for the age demographic that the merchandise is targeted towards, the prices are honestly outrageous. $45 for a tiny tank top, over $100 for jeans that are not actual denim.. I mean cmon. On top of that, the workers are never attentive or friendly in any way, they look at you as if you are a bother, they don't offer to start a dressing room or take any unwanted items, no conversations started, just judgemental looks and RBF. Sad because I used to shop here quite often. I also asked if they would take back used shopping bags since they're made of fabric material and it's extremely wasteful to throw them out (I've returned some before) and they told me that they don't do that. Highly recommend shopping at cute local boutiques instead!

Lisa Cacioppo: The staff is always helpful and friendly. They have a good selection of plus size clothing and have excellent sales! Love shopping here.
Judith House: As I don't live close by I don't visit this very often. I wish they had a store near the west side of Lansing as their selection of clothes is plentiful along with fair prices. I really enjoy shopping here except for December 1. One of the clerks was SO LOUD in telling her coworker about her trip to Bronner's and Biggby's and her distaste for Michigan basements and peas and other things that were of little interest to anyone within the entire store . If the coworker walked further away tending to the racks and sweeping she just yelled louder. She was so obnoxious!! Shopping should be fun...this girl made it less than pleasant.
Shaneen Gaston: The staff is nice and helpful. The building is clean & spacious. The clothes are neat & orderly and the store is pretty spacious. I shop here for work attire or for my god mother. Pricing is affordable for the most part.

Rebecca: Not the greatest selection, styles I would never wear. Cheaply made, prices way too high. I'm surprised they can stay in business. I had to look hard to find something to purchase. When I checked out the sales girl had dirty hands, really didn't like her to handle my clothes! Not friendly, the whole time I was there a sales girl was singing loudly to the stores music & it was very distracting. Not the store it used to be!
