Michael: I would avoid. They rented a Dodge 300 out to me. Not only did it emit the smell of burning oil my entire drive home, but it also left several large oil leaks all over my driveway... and those spots are still there weeks later. I have followed up with both corporate and local branch. Corporate has assured me multiple times that they would look into the matter and have the Lansing branch follow-up. I have sent several inquiries, and no one wants to make this situation right. Finally, Corporate has stated that if I don't hear from the Lansing branch within 5 days, assume that I won't be compensated.I'd avoid Enterprise in the future. Not only did they risk the vehicle breaking down on me (did screw the oil cap back on the car I'd assume) and the permanent oil stains their vehicle's leak, you're better off going elsewhere. I'll be letting my insurance company know what poor customer service I received at Enterprise.
Daphna Gadoth: Aaron Collins provided exceptional customer service. My insurance sent my reservation info to the wrong branch and he resolved it and made sure I was in a vehicle in time to make it to a conference. He also gave me sound advice on how to navigate communicating with my insurance agency that really paid off. When I dropped the car off, he took the time to walk me through each fee and charge. I was very happy with the level of professionalism and care I received.

When I got home and checked the statement in my email, I found that I had been charged for the full week. I think it would have been proper, and prudent for the person who took care of me on my return to have notified me that there would be NO refund at all. I took the truck back with a half tank of gas (I received it with an empty tank). If I had known that I was forfeiting 2 days of my rental agreement, I would have certainly kept the truck till the rental week ran out. I consider this to be very underhanded, and disrespectful. I have rented from Enterprise exclusively, and have always been satisfied till this occasion. I will not allow myself to be taken advantage of again by this company. I feel I have no choice but to rent from a different company from now on.

Dan Dinolfo: Had a rental confirmed by them, but when I showed up they didn't have it ready. Said to come back in 4 hours or pay $20 a day for an "upgrade". I had dropped my car off at a body shop that morning and gotten a Lyft ride to the store. My house is 20 minutes away.After I pushed back, they "found" a cheaper tiny car and said to call back in the afternoon and they will have a mid-size car I can swap it for. I called back and they basically blew me off. If I call them and ask to rent a new car with a phone number they don't have on file, they magically have the car in, but apparently, they don't want to rent the cars for "insurance" rates. Bait and switch.

I had to go in and answer all the questions (I had filled out online). When I commented that it didn’t work as it had said it would; they just said oh yeah, people didn’t do it right. Adam Chojnacki: I reserved a cargo van to move my daughters belongings after she graduated from college. The night before I was scheduled to pick up the van, I received a call telling me the van was not available. The next day was Sunday, and no other rental places were open, so I had to accept a 16-foot moving truck. The difference in the price was credited and 100 in extra gas costs were credited, but driving the big truck from Michigan to Houston was a long and slow drive when it was not necessary. The items I brought home did not even cover the floor of the truck. It would have easily fit in a cargo van. Budget could not even tell me if a van would have been available on Monday so I could have waited for it. The lady working the desk was great and apologetic, but she could not do anything to fix the problem.
Jeremy B: The guy that was handling our rental was helpfull. I took a star away because when I called I was put on hold by a female for a half hour before eventually getting hung up on and when I called back straight to voice-mail because they were closed. I feel like she intentionally did that knowing they were closing soon. Overall good experience though.
Joey Reyes: It was really good and a fast transaction. I was traveling for work and corporate arranged it. I went there on the day I was supposed and was given my rental, no muss no fuss. Returning it was just as quick. Loved it.
Don't Go: No one is ever there and they do NOT clean their cars out between rentals. Also, they cars are in horrible condition.

They do not have any available now and we leave in 3 days. They will not return our calls to tell us what vehicle we will get. We have called 4 times in the last 2 weeks and have been told every time the manager, Deb, will call us back but she isn't. We also called the regional manager in Detroit, Mi, and she also is not returning phone calls to let us know what they can offer if anything. They have had our $1,038.37 since November, and now we have no idea if we'll have a vehicle or what vehicle and it's too late to look elsewhere since spring break starts Friday and it's Tuesday.

CAT: This location has the rudest agents. Poor service mentality. Customers are not treated with respect. I was told that I needed leave and come back the next day because the computers were done and it was too hard to manually handle my rental transaction. Everything is to inconvenience the customer and we are told it’s our fault. The agents also do not handle credit card information with privacy. They wrote email addresses and credit numbers down on stickies and left in plain site. They never take responsibility for any issues, and they blame the customer. This location is terrible and after reading the other reviews it’s apparent that there’s no one in management tone cares. Go to another rental company. This location is ruining her Avis/Budget brand.

I came in today 01/27/2023 as we’re walking in the lady at the front desk looks at me and my sister goes to the back we’re just standing there looking for a bell to ring we’re waiting probably about 10 minutes I see there’s a number to call. I called her she comes out and say you don’t have to call I seen you guys on the camera. Smh REALLY!! After that nonsense. We then try to complete our reservation and pick up the car and everything which we’ve done plenty of times before and this lady was so rude telling us that we cannot pay with my sisters card even though we’re both on the reservation it had to be my card which we’ve never had that happen before we rent to cars from them so many times, so she tells us we have to call Expedia to get it put in my sister‘s name and me as an extra driver, we call Expedia and they tell us they can’t do that so we end up having to cancel And she just walked to the back and said OK I’m done. You guys can go now With an attitude. We went straight to enterprise rented a car no problems took 15 minutes.
Tasha Spagnuolo: 11/12/22 I showed up today around 1030am for my business work car rental and The woman at budget/Avis car rental had to be one of the rudest ladies I’ve ever delt with. I believe her name may have been deb.I booked this rental a week prior and and it was paid for by corporate work card I had my ID, my debit card, and my work ID. But because I didn’t have a plane ticket out of Lansing air port she told me I couldn’t use my debit card and had to use a credit card. Even tho it was already paid for by company on company credit card and my ID didn’t match the company credit card obviously. So she rudely dismissed me and I had to go somewhere else.Also this Avis budget is my company’s preferred vendor we use ALL the time as of now you will be loosing our business. Mind you I was dropped off to airport to get rental car for work and had to Uber to another location that would actually take company credit card and my ID. She didn’t recommend anything or try to help at all! I would not recommend going here at all

Rachel Baratono: We rented a truck to drive in a MI blizzard at Christmas. The vehicle had no rear defrost, no rear windshield wiper and vibrated when driving. Definitely should not have been rented and not safe for driving in a blizzard. Spoke with Debra at the Lansing Airport who promised me a call on a specific day about a refund. She never called. I called the day after my promised call never came and left multiple messages for her. The girl who answered said she gave her my message but she never bothered to call me back. Very disappointed in the service provided by Debra and in the unsafe vehicle we rented.
Jason Blake: Charged $4 for fuel service when the car was returned completely full is the kind of policy that will keep me from renting from Avis in the future. (drove over 100 miles so filled up before returning) There are lots of rental car companies that don't do this so I'll avoid Avis next time.
Nate D: Vehicle pickup went smooth but the drop off was a weird experience! The customer in front of me waited for almost a half hour for someone to come to the service desk; I waited 10-15 minutes. The customer in front of me called corporate to see what to do since the employee was no where to be found but they were no help. I called the number for the Lansing location but no answer. Eventually, the 3 customers in line asked the rental company next door if we can just leave our keys somewhere to return our vehicles since the employee seemed to be missing. This was my first and likely last time using Avis.

When I showed up they said I needed one in my name even though the website didn't require it. Now I have to wait a week just to get a refund. My son graduates November 4th from Marine camp. Because of the lack of information I'm now going to miss it
Dale McCord: 2022 09 17 = Smooth experience doing a one way drop off, 24 hour rental, from Muskegon on a corporate account to Lansing.Super easy parking lot located just after pax drop-off super convenient right next to terminal and walk in. Avis parking spots line next to closest to the road.Very nice and efficient staff at both locations!A pleasure to try out a new chrysler mini van with all the fancy safety features like auto braking and adaptive cruise control worked wonderfully. Excellent mpg also for a mini van.

Dorral Goforth: Buyer beware. You get less than you pay for. I purchased a vehicle for a lower price here than I would have paid elsewhere - and the vehicle looked a bit nicer. I knew that there had been some body work done - the new lens on on headlight and fresh paint around the hood and along the rocker panels were indicators. However, I didn't expect parts to fly off the first time I took the vehicle on the expressway. Then, when the battery went bad, I was stunned to discover that the battery had a "patch" of rubbery material on it that had failed! Are you kidding, patch a battery and shove it back in where it wont be noticed, rather than replace it with a new or even used one?Bottom line is that there are few "good" used car lots in town - but this is probably the worst.

I needed a car while mine was in the shop and I told the reservation agent I would need a small suv or van, since I have physical limitations that prohibit me from using a low to the ground vehicle like a regular sedan. When I called the rental location, I was told it would be an additional $25/day to get a vehicle I would ACTUALLY be able to drive. So I ended up cancelling the reservation since it made no sense to accept a vehicle that I could not use, even if insurance was paying for it.
Richard Johnson: They are trying to change me for a crack in the bumper that I know for a fact didn’t happen while in my possession. I didn’t see it on the walk around on their icy parking lot. I had to look hard to find it after he walked right to it.They are they are con men.0 stars
Michael Spencer: Customer service is great, the people accommodating, and my Nissan Altima is now my new favorite car! Can't wait for another!....just rented again last Saturday Feb. 11th 2023, customer service is still nicely accommodating, but it seems that the last few times I've rented, the cars are not clean as they once we're. Beginning to think that the workers who clean them, as in many industries now days, try to get by with the least effort and no pride in a job well done. Just running out the clock.

This is the rental car spot you want to go to. 30 days into renting from them my insurance wanted to downgrade my vehicle or charge me out of pocket to keep driving it, but Stephen allowed me to keep the rental vehicle at no extra charge. There was also a mix up when I was supposed return my vehicle where I accidentally returned the vehicle 1 day late and they did not charge me. You will get taken care of here. Thank you guys!

buddy ayres: Likely my last time using enterprise. Reserved a small truck a week prior. On pick I was informed they upgraded me to a full-size witch is not really a good thing for someone driving to Florida and back. Then told they had no smaller trucks. So after going over the inventory lot the truck was my only option. Go to rent it and get informed they know require a credit card for all trucks and standard size and up SUV’s. So know I’m forced down to a little Jeep Compass. Then am told it’s going to cost more. At this time I’m just over it. I got dropped off and am hours from leaving for Florida. Going forward I’ll no longer be able to rent any of the vehicle I’d normally use in the past.

Viktor Bedaine: When I first walk in everyone there are very nice and friendly. Kaileen McKinney was really good at explaining and suggesting good options of vehicles for long distance travel. She was excellent on answer all of my questions and concerns. It was quick in and out customer service. Once I got the car, she gave me options to see which car I wanted. Car that I rented was good on gas, really clean, and super comfortable.

If I ever need another rental in mid Michigan, I know where I'm going.
