William Hays: Used to be the place to go for motor, and welder repair. Sadly, the virus situation caused this location to be shut down. They can still help you out, if you're willing to take a drive to Bay City.
The Real B Hilliard: First company to answer their phone of the several I tried. Staff was very friendly and did their best to troubleshoot my problem over the phone. I'll be working with them again in the future
Primoro LLC: Our company fell for the $75 upfront diagnostic fee charged by LEM, Inc. which was sold to go towards the repair of our 12vdc motor on the back end. Only after calling repeatedly for days for an estimate we find that not only cant they repair the electric motor but they cant find all the original parts to it after disassembly. We picked up what was left of the motor, without a written estimate of repairs(two weeks later we still have not received it or missing parts). Jim French, inside sales, is only too happy to tell us a new one(Chinese mnfr) is just $90 off the shelf at NAPA. Left a message with manager Tom Hunter and got no response. Robbed of $75 but cost our co. days in repair time. Really went out of our way to BUY AMERICAN but companies like these make it very hard. Do NOT recommend.

Liquid Solutions Inc: I have relied on LEM for repair work for many years. Over the years i have found that LEM's service has been top notch and their staff very professional. They have always been upfront and honest regarding repair time and have gone above and beyond to get us back up and running.
Jessica Kurzawa: TERRIBLE! We took our welder in because there was an issue with the motor being frozen up, it wouldn't feed the wire through. took them a week and they kept insisting we need a new liner and wire for it to work and were going to grossly OVERCHARGE to replace it. The spool of wire is new and a full spool. We had to call multiple times saying we wanted to pick it up. After hours we finally showed up at the location and asked for it. They brought it out disassembled and kept pushing us to replace the liner. They did however, fix the issue with the engine by cleaning it. We asked them to put it back together and we were told they don't have time????? Absolutely unacceptable. We brought it home still in pieces and discovered a missing part. We put it back together with a spare tip and we could weld, liner is fine, wire is fine. Went back and asked for our tip, was given one, no idea if it is actually ours or not. Then said that there is no way we can weld with the liner being damaged. We already have and it worked perfectly. THIS PLACE WILL RIP YOU OFF with no remorse whatsoever.

Chris Thomas: took my paper shredder to him to be looked at and fixed, took him 2 months just to look at it, then when he fixed it he replace the motor with a smaller motor that ruined the use of my 12 sheet paper shredder. wont give him my return business or recommend his business
Dustin Clouse: Very slow and unprofessional I dropped off a RC car for a soldering job on a Thursday. He took my number said he would call me when he was done. The next Tuesday I called he said he would have it ready tmr. I was to busy to stop in before they close on Wednesday. So Thursday a whole week later after I dropped it off I stop in excited to get my new rc car running to find it was never soldered. What was probably a little job for them turned into a big waste of my time. I will not take anything to them again.

Trevor McLean: Ed and the Team Motor Group came through for our 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT when every other shop we called was completely booked. We knew we had a bad driver side wheel bearing but they identified other important suspension components that needed replacing. Sue Johnson: Staff was friendly and helpful. The final cost was higher than expected but still reasonable and warranted. Service took a little longer than I hoped but we were stranded an hour away from home and they were able to fit us in amd complete the repair by the end of the week

I started going there for oil changes a few years ago so they can keep a close eye on my old 2011 Subaru Outback and let me know when something is in need of repair. I love how they send photos and videos of what's wrong so I can see for myself. Bill tells me what is important to fix right away and what I am able to hold off on. Recently Bill strongly suggested that I sell my vehicle and buy another car. He didn't want me to pour a bunch more money into the Subaru that I wouldn't get back when selling it. Kayed Batayeh: I took my daughters vehicle to install a serpentine belt cause she was on campus and I live over a hour away . I advised the garage I’m a licensed technician . The day it happened it’s was snowing really hard and I was getting wet in the parking lot so I took it to his garage to install belt . When your a tech you inspect the part your installing and where it’s being installed and verified everything is in good working condition? He installed the belt knowing the water pump needed to be replaced ? The bearings were starting to go and there was slop and movement? He first advised me the belt was 120$ to install then changed the price to 150$ and I provided the belt ? This is price gouging 150$ labor for a 30 min repair is ridiculous ! I drove half a mile away from his garage the vehicle started to overheat so I pulled over and seen the belt came off ? I decided to have it towed to another garage and right away the tech verified the water pump was bad and the belt slipped off and was causing the overheating condition .I had to miss work that day he doesn’t care about his clients. Kristina L: I was in the area from out of town, and I had an emergency issue with my vehicle. It was a relatively quick fix (~10 min), but all of the places I called either wouldn't help or weren't able to for several hours or even days. I couldn't drive with what was going on and had to leave soon. At Schep's, they dropped what they were doing to help me and did so with kindness and professionalism. I am so incredibly thankful.

Jessica Meek: Brought in my 2014 Cruze for a heating/overheating issue on Tuesday, he contacted me on Wednesday with the diagnosis, ordered a part and had everything fixed by Thursday. He gave me the option to order the cheaper part, even though he didn't recommend it for quality reasons. But strongly recommended the more expensive part, he was not pushy at all. I felt confident he was taking care of my car and have no expectations this part will fail any time soon, not to a fault of his anyway. I would recommend anyone to take your vehicles to Tony, he's not exactly speedy but he's very efficient, kind and genuine. gearstrip76: I called Schep's garage called to get a quote on replacing a left rear wheel bearing on my 2009 Lincoln MKX. The person [I'm sure it was Schep himself] on the other end of the phone sounded less then interested for whatever reason. Then to make matters worse I mentioned that I may have already purchased the part. The immediate response was "We don't install customer's parts". The phone was then slammed down before I had a chance to explain or further suggest that they could indeed purchase the part themselves [regardless of the exorbitant mark up price]. I just need to get it replaced. Apparently they don't need my business. I guess that unfortunately ends my relationship with this garage. I will not tolerate being treated in that manner. I've always liked this place and it's position in the Lansing area history. But not anymore. We are through. I have no idea how they stay in business with the piss poor attitude that was demonstrated to me this afternoon.
Margy Mann: I took my car to Tony after receiving an insane price quote from another institution. I called Tony to explain and when I told him the price he was immediately sympathetic and told me I could bring it in the next week and he would see what he could do for far far less.I dropped my car off the night before as I work during his hours and received a call after just a couple hours of the shop being open. Tony informed me that there was nothing wrong with my car at all and he could not see a leak that the other place had be speaking to. He said he could keep my car and continue to do tests throughout the day including a drive test.Tony saved me $1,000 in repairs on something that did not need to be repaired and was very honest about the whole process and called me every couple hours as he could tell I was very nervous since I had just been scammed by another place. I needed new tires and he got me an AMAZING deal on tires and charged very little for installation and got rid of my old (very beat up) tires for me for free.Tony is AWESOME and I will be a loyal customer for life
