Once in the chair Asma asked what services I needed, what my preferences were about my eyebrows and went to work. A couple years ago my favorite threader started working limited hours, I try to come when she is here because she threads the absolute best. I wish they would change their Saturday hours. Ive came here multiple times at 11 and no one is ever here. My friend has the same experience. The untimeliness is the only reason why I give them 3 stars.

Sam Shuster: I recently used the services at this salon for a balayage, but I did not find the results to be as great as many of the reviews. I have had a balayage done many times with different people at other salons, but I feel like throughout my appointment at Smita's it felt like the stylist was rushing through the process, as if they did not want to be there. The overall process just felt very sloppy and I feel like maybe the technique that I have witnessed from other stylists just was not present throughout my appointment. The end result after the first wash was honestly not the best. I have even given it a few weeks, but I am still displeased by the results. The sectioning of the hair was so thick and unnatural. One side of my hair has very large chunks of blonde, but then the other side has no blonde color at all. In addition, the blonde color was very uneven, with the ends being many shades lighter than the root. Maybe other people have had better results, but based on my own I probably would not recommend.Service:Balayage

I showed her a picture of the color red that I wanted and she nailed it. It wasn’t too red but it also wasn’t a bland red. I couldn’t be happier. And I loved chatting with her - and the other people in the salon. It was a fun atmosphere! I will definitely be back!

I also made an appointment and was not attended until 20 minutes after I had originally scheduled. Smita is an artist! She completely turned my hair around. She listened to me and understood my hair needs. She has revived my hair as it is incredibly healthy because of the products that she uses to color my hair. Also she recommended hair products that I use at home to help to maintain my healthy hair and I am happy to report that I have twelve years of enjoying long healthy beautiful hair because of the way that Smita approaches coloring and cutting my hair.I live in Bloomfield Hills but it’s a fun forty five minute drive and absolutely worth it!
