I have never been here before last week and I messaged Brenda on Instagram. I really didn’t like my hair and wanted something completely different. I also was moving to Italy at the end of the following week and on a time crunch. Brenda and April both did a consult for my hair for free with me, helped me find the right color and extensions, and worked outside of their normal hours to help me get it done before I left. I couldn’t come in one day and they both reworked their schedules for me, which was just so awesome. All for a random client just because I really wanted my hair before my trip. I just think they were so nice to do that for me and go out of their way for me. My hair turned out so amazing. Lexi another hairstylist had hair that was a lot like what I wanted and she let us look at her extensions and helped color them and tell me how to take care of them even when she didn’t have to help because I wasn’t her client. Very reasonable prices for quality. Everyone from the front desk to all the stylist were very helpful and kind. Alyssa Durham: Unfortunately I would never recommend this salon. If you have curly hair THIS IS NOT THE PLACE for you. My curly hair is fried after coming here. They have their highest stylist so booked that they are doing 5 other people at the same time as you, so you spend most of your service waiting or having their assistant work on your hair (yet you pay for a level 4 stylist). After expressing my frustrations with my hair the stylist offered to come in on her off day to do my hair, which I was extremely happy about. However, I woke up early on a Saturday to get there at the time she requested, and had to wait an hour and half before she got there. Moving forward to today, my curly hair is brittle and damaged after getting it colored 4 times and is STILL nothing like I requested. If you have curly hair or any texture at all I would not recommend this salon, go somewhere else. I am the type of person who likes to pay more to get better results, however I spent hundreds of dollars here, just to turn around and spend additional money somewhere else to fix it.

Kristen Wren: Krystle at Bliss Salon is amazing; she cut and colored my hair for about 4 years when I lived in Lansing. She is relaxed and personable and makes for fun salon appointments. My hair was always cut perfectly, and she worked with me to slowly start adding some color to my hair. Over the years, we gradually went lighter and lighter, and it looked perfect each time. I've lived in two other states since, and I've struggled to find a hair stylist who is consistently on point like Krystle always was!

The pre-appointment process makes it really simple for Linsi to help you determine what type of permanent brow service would be best suites for my brows/skin, etc. Linsi was very professional throughout the entire process and walked me through everything she was doing during the appointment. She provided me with specific healing instructions as well as what to expect as my brows heal. She also provided me with soap and ointment for my brows! My brows could not have turned out any more perfect! I have been self conscious about my brows for YEARS and Linsi gave me the confidence booster I needed before my wedding. The Pies the Limit: Was able to call and book 6 days out for a Saturday morning appointment. Salon was easy to get to, Google maps took me to the wrong location but I got a text with the new address before the appointment so I was prepared. Salon was clean and had a comfy atmosphere.I got a full highlight and cut and the hairstylist was great! I walked out with healthy looking hair that I have been complimented on numerous times. Will be coming back.

Liz: Victoria, Kadie, and Alaina did hair and makeup for my wedding. They were amazing during the planning process, answering all my questions. They gave us a schedule for the morning ahead of time which was super helpful! The hotel room ended up being much smaller than anticipated but they were great and worked so well with us despite the cramped space.Victoria was incredible during the whole thing, especially the trial before the wedding. She was patient and gave excellent advice. She even made time to cut my hair the week of the wedding.Everyone looked beautiful!

Am new to the area trying to find a new spot for all my beauty needs. Had my first appointment cancelled a few hours before my appointment, which was inconvenient, but I understood. Had to make another appointment and I had the worst haircut and total experience. The person cutting my hair said maybe 10 words to me even when I was asking about other services that I was looking to get. She didn't spend any time talking to me about the cut and I think that is why I ended up with the bowl cut I have now. I felt like I was being rushed, she didn't even show me the back before she brushed me off and took my cape off. This may have been an off day for the salon, but it resulted in a disaster on my head. This is definitely not a place I would try again for haircut and probably not any other services

Taylor Myers: I booked Fluid Salon for hair & makeup services on site at my wedding venue. Their website had pictures of hairstyles that were similar to what I was looking for, they had great reviews, and were nearby my venue and would travel. I had my bridal hair & makeup trial done at the salon. My girl Victoria was awesome. She helped me decide on what I envisioned for my wedding and guided me on what hairstyle would work best for my hair type. I showed inspiration pics from pinterest and she delivered. I really wanted my hair down for my wedding and for my trial we tried it down to see how long the curls lasted. She called it. My hair lasted maybe 3 hours. So on my actual wedding day I was confident I needed it pinned up better to hold and last all night and trusted her style choice. She did an amazing job and my hair lasted all day and night. I got so many compliments! She did my airbrush makeup as well. It was definitely the way to go. I felt so beautiful and it felt light and lasted all day long. So now on to the entire team. Communication with the salon was phenomenal. The timeline for hair & makeup that was put together was so organized and beautiful. The day of the team came right on time and started right away. Hair & makeup went without a hitch and we ended about an hour earlier than expected. This gave us time for some snacks and to enjoy the morning. My entire bridal party of 7 girls, plus myself and 2 moms all looked gorgeous thanks to Fluid Salon! Highly recommend them as your hair & makeup dream team if your wedding is near Lansing/Mid Michigan!!
