I would have an appointment booked with a specific person then be seen by someone else when I showed up, with no explanation. I had waxed somewhere else before for several years, so knew what to expect. The wax here was too hot, applied with poor technique, and gave me so many ingrown hairs. I think the final straw was when someone did it crooked. After giving my skin a break a tried a new-ish business in East Lansing, they’re much more knowledgeable. Victoria McNutt: I'm giving bare bliss a 4 star review only because I wasn't a fan of the location. It felt to crowded & small for me inside. I received an eyebrow & Brazilian wax, I really did like the women who did mine (I believe I seen Amy) but I wasn't a fan of the wax she used. I felt like it didn't get as much hair & she didn't really take the time to check for my small blonde hairs so I ended up coming home & have to get my blonde hairs.

I have pretty sensitive skin, and usually have a lot of redness and irritation after getting waxed. After going to Bare Bliss, I left feeling confident and comfortable with very minimal redness and no irritation! The online booking website is super helpful and easy to navigate. The location is pretty easy to access too, especially for an anxious driver like me. I would recommend Bare Bliss to anyone who is thinking about booking! The prices are incredible for the amazing quality service!

Dakota Williams: There is a reason Stripped has 5 stars! Brittany is the Queen of Sugaring. There’s nobody else I would trust to sugar me from head to toe. She’s knowledgeable + professional AND incredibly kind + funny which is the best combination you can get. Heather Kauffman: Todd Rogers is a phenomenal massage therapist. He has helped me, my husband, daughter, dad, and several friends. I have had deep tissue, cupping, and cranial sacral. I recommend Todd to anyone with pain, especially headaches.

Thomas Little: A neat little place; i really enjoyed the unique personality of this little "chalet". You can tell the care that has been put into this place. I can't speak to the hair and nail services though it seemed like all the ladies were having a good time. I was there for Todd the massage therapist, one of the ablest, most skilled massage therapists you'll ever find. He not only knows how to find the tension, but through his work you learn to find it yourself. A true master of his trade.
