The first appointment, the stylist was an hour late and my hair came out completely orange.She offered to “fix it” the next appointment but there was no change and I had to pay full price.I came in another time and booked an appointment with a Level 4 stylist to do a half & half dye to my hair (half blonde & half my natural hair) and it did not come out blonde at all. It was super brassy and orange and I ended up paying over $600 for something I definitely was not satisfied with. I was mostly upset that the stylist didn’t bother doing a strand test before attempting to dye all my hair.I’ve been to other salons that have been able to lift my hair for way less $ and been able to get it to platinum. Kylie Chicilli: Will be going here 100% of the time in the future. I personally recommend Brenda and April who did my hair, but everyone else was so nice to me and helpful the entire time. I have never been here before last week and I messaged Brenda on Instagram. I really didn’t like my hair and wanted something completely different. I also was moving to Italy at the end of the following week and on a time crunch. Brenda and April both did a consult for my hair for free with me, helped me find the right color and extensions, and worked outside of their normal hours to help me get it done before I left. I couldn’t come in one day and they both reworked their schedules for me, which was just so awesome. All for a random client just because I really wanted my hair before my trip. I just think they were so nice to do that for me and go out of their way for me. My hair turned out so amazing. Lexi another hairstylist had hair that was a lot like what I wanted and she let us look at her extensions and helped color them and tell me how to take care of them even when she didn’t have to help because I wasn’t her client. Very reasonable prices for quality. Everyone from the front desk to all the stylist were very helpful and kind. Alyssa Durham: Unfortunately I would never recommend this salon. If you have curly hair THIS IS NOT THE PLACE for you. My curly hair is fried after coming here. They have their highest stylist so booked that they are doing 5 other people at the same time as you, so you spend most of your service waiting or having their assistant work on your hair (yet you pay for a level 4 stylist). After expressing my frustrations with my hair the stylist offered to come in on her off day to do my hair, which I was extremely happy about. However, I woke up early on a Saturday to get there at the time she requested, and had to wait an hour and half before she got there. Moving forward to today, my curly hair is brittle and damaged after getting it colored 4 times and is STILL nothing like I requested. If you have curly hair or any texture at all I would not recommend this salon, go somewhere else. I am the type of person who likes to pay more to get better results, however I spent hundreds of dollars here, just to turn around and spend additional money somewhere else to fix it.
Kristen Wren: Krystle at Bliss Salon is amazing; she cut and colored my hair for about 4 years when I lived in Lansing. She is relaxed and personable and makes for fun salon appointments. My hair was always cut perfectly, and she worked with me to slowly start adding some color to my hair. Over the years, we gradually went lighter and lighter, and it looked perfect each time. I've lived in two other states since, and I've struggled to find a hair stylist who is consistently on point like Krystle always was!

Cat: I wanna start off by saying Cassidy is a hair magician. I’ve been dyeing my hair fashion colors for 6+ years, I’ve spent $1000’s at various salons and been through every color. When I first came into lockworx my hair was destroyed from the DIY period of 2020 paired with Amazon bleach orders. I was told by other salons I just needed to chop everything off because of how my hair holds reds if I ever wanted to be silver. Cassidy opened her schedule and managed to bring my hair to life. (Picture one and 2) after being out of state and more travel and a little more DIY, I decided I wanted a dramatic change. I wasn’t sure in what direction. Cassidy is the only stylist I’ve trusted with complete creative control, and I have yet to be anything but amazed every time. (Remaining pictures) The staff are always extremely friendly, attentive, and courteous. Occasionally in higher end salons I’ve seen passive judgment towards fashion colors, that is refreshingly, not the case here. If you’re debating scheduling, do yourself a favor and book an appointment. This is my all time favorite salon and I cannot recommend Cassidy enough!Services:Hairstyling,Haircut

She denied my sister to give her service on her wedding day inspite of that we had already booked an appointment with her . She overcharged me for my haircut and hair color. She gave permanent dye to my hairs without explaining me about this that that this dye gonna stay forever. I never got the color which I wanted. We had a deal to give her that much fixed money too but when we get her service, she overcharged me. My sister was willing to pay her fixed rate for her bridal makeup but she said no to her and she canceled appointment for her special day when we had no one to do that. As soon as I heard about the Hive, I brought my 3 year old in. Every other place depended on pronouns. If I used female pronouns, they basically would touch my kids hair, If I used male pronouns, they basically cut off every single curl no matter what pictures I showed them. I can to the hive and BAM! the perfect gender free cut that is SO ADORABLE and works with the curls. And the staff were RAD! The person who did the cut (unwire of name rn) talked TO my child. Checked in constantly, showed and discussed every tool, made sure certain sounds were ok and even said "in a minute I'm going to let you take some time to look in the mirror to see if you like it. Crystal Gille: Jamie is a great stylist. She is knowledgeable and skilled. I had an undercut done and the rest cut into a bob. She made sure to cut it in a way that complemented my face shape and do away with the unhealthy bits. I had some overprocessed mids to ends, so a shorter style than my original plan was appropriate. She is also inclusive and I was able to be there without a lot of stimuli. I appreciate the space as it was well placed and decorated. It felt very cozy. She also made it a nice experience and she was easy to talk with. I have plans to return.

Heather Kauffman: Todd Rogers is a phenomenal massage therapist. He has helped me, my husband, daughter, dad, and several friends. I have had deep tissue, cupping, and cranial sacral. I recommend Todd to anyone with pain, especially headaches.

Thomas Little: A neat little place; i really enjoyed the unique personality of this little "chalet". You can tell the care that has been put into this place. I can't speak to the hair and nail services though it seemed like all the ladies were having a good time. I was there for Todd the massage therapist, one of the ablest, most skilled massage therapists you'll ever find. He not only knows how to find the tension, but through his work you learn to find it yourself. A true master of his trade.
Mandy: Great service. Make sure you take cash! No credit card machine.I needed to cancel appointment and asked for a price for another service. No response. I guess I move on. Wish I could actually have a person that likes their job. Feeling disappointed.
