Kari Kammel: Nikki was amazing! My husband and I wanted to customize our wedding rings and get something unique to us. We were hesitant in the beginning but Nikki walked us through the whole process- ordered stones in for us to choose from and even 3D printed the mold of my ring so I could make sure I liked it before we had it made. Could not be happier with both of our rings. Thank you!! Mine was a Green Amethyst with rose gold and moissonite. His was rose gold sleeve with Carbon Fiber exterior. Sorry it took so long to post this review! We had these done in late 2021

Charmica Terry: Let me start by saying I rarely do reviews...I haven't been to jewelry dr in years but they normally are fairly good. My issue is customer svc & bias. I ask to have ring resized, guy looks at ring, then walks away for about 2-3mins never explaining anything to me as the customer. Comes back & then says are you sure on the size, cause if we have to size again, we would charge for that. Well duh, doesn't a business charge for work even if not their fault? Or do u think I won't pay 🤔 now the second ring, he says he can resized, then pushes me off to the lady working beside him saying resizing is too risky. He explaining this to her as if I'm not standing there, & has her explain to me. What was the point! The lady was very helpful, however this is not the way to treat a customer. I feel alot of assumptions where made which played into this negative experience.

AllStar Everything: Beware!! They charged me $50 to fix my late Dad’s ring. They did such a horrible job. You could still see the crack in the band. I wore it for 20 mins & it broke again. Took it to Sundance in Okemos & they fixed it correctly for only $20.

In addition to crafting our ring, they were sure to ask questions & make recommendations as I was preparing for travel with the ring. They were both aware of potential logistical pitfalls in proposing while on a trip like lost luggage & airport security issues, and they were sure to share those considerations to set me up for success. Limisha Watkins: My boyfriend purchased a ring for me a few years ago from this location when I was in law school. The ring scratched up really bad just a few months after the purchase. I tried to use the warranty to have it refinished, but was told by the store that I had to pay a $60 shipping fee for the service. The warranty document did mention a shipping fee, but I didn't question it, because I assumed it would be a typical shipping charge. In my opinion, a shipping fee of $60 should be clearly stated on the warranty document.

Andrea Cecil: Once again, Mark out does himself not only in the quality and beauty of his work, but with his customer service and care. For my 30th Wedding Anniversary, my husband went to Mark to purchase a gift. He picked out some beautiful sapphire earrings. Mark told him that if for any reason I did not like them, we could return them. Well, I did love them but I have another pair almost identical other than the color of the sapphires. When we went to see Mark, I took a diamond anniversary band that was one of my grandmothers. It was missing a diamond and needed some repair. Mark noticed one of the other diamonds was actually not one (he took the time to show us what to look for). I thought I could add a garnet and an aquamarine in the 2 spots. We also bought a diamond anniversary band that Mark attached to a sapphire and diamond ring I got when I turned 40. When we went to pick them up, the rings were beautiful! I left very happy watching them sparkle! After the weekend was over, Mark called and said he got some new stones in that he thought would look even better due to their color. After replacing the stones, he was absolutely right! I love them even more! Mark is such a genius when it comes to creating beautiful jewelry. I highly recommend him!
Katie Simon: Mark is an exceptional, kind, and knowledgeable jeweler. He made my wedding ring and band, plus four additional rings for my mother, sisters and me. This weekend, I noticed I had a diamond missing from my wedding band and happened to be in Lansing. I called Mark's store and left a voicemail, which Mark promptly returned within a few hours. He met me at the shop outside of normal business hours and repaired my ring within a half hour. This is in great contrast to sending a ring away in the mail to be repaired by a big jewelry company. Randy Roze: Went in after browsing at Azzi for our first round of looking for engagement rings and the guy we had help us was very unprofessional and borderline creepy! He completely ignored my girlfriend’s after asking her what she wanted and showed her the complete opposite ring and said this is the one he thinks she’d look pretty in. He grabbed her hand multiple times from when we first walked in because he “reads hands” and after Saying the ring HE picked picked out wasn’t for her, he proceeded to take her hand and put the ring on her hand. That made her and me very uncomfortable! We are in our early 20s and this 40-50 year old man is being very touchy, pushy, and dismissive when we are the only 3 in the store made for a very uncomfortable and unsettling environment

Brian gave us some pointers and advice, and pretty much giving us the 101 on the metals, diamonds, styles, sizes, so much more; also gave us financial options to get something i truly love.One thing that i loved was that he was very patient and very one on one with us, getting to know us to help find/build the perfect ring in a estimated budget my boyfriend gave him. Overrall at the end, we did a beautiful custom engagement ring that i absolutely fell in love with. Kristin Zischke: Everyone at the West Saginaw location is so friendly, and professional!My husband had my wedding set fixed there. It was fixed and cleaned perfectly. When I got home I noticed the band was cracked. I called Brian and took my ring back he looked at it and we both agreed that it was probably because the band is so thin on the bottom and it's old. None the less he took it right back and fixed it.100% recommend them for all your jewelry needs and wants!
William House: I went to Medawar 7 years ago when I was buying an engagement ring for my now wife. I brought with me a 1.2 caret diamond that was my grandmother's. The diamond had a small inclusion in the lower area.Medawar told me the diamond was worthless and would break due to the inclusion. They even told me quote "it will break even if you leave it in a drawer and never touch it". They offered to buy the 1.2 caret diamond, that belonged to my dead grandma, for about $1k and sell me another engagement ring that looked like a tiny dirty pebble for $3k.I left and went to three other jewelry stores all of them were confused and shocked at the lies Medawar told me. I got the diamond placed into a nice setting and my wife has worn it ever since, and no it did not break like Medawar claimed it would. Also since then I have shared with every guy I know in the market to buy a ring how Medawar tried to rip me off for my dead grandmas diamond and my future wife's ring. It is still the lowest thing I have ever seen in business and just from another human in general.
John Obrecht: Repaired pearl necklace and they did an excellent job. Repair was done prior to initial delivery date. They went above and beyond and replaced a damaged pearl.Also, at no charged cleaned and polished my wife’s wedding ring set. Brian noticed to ring prongs were two bent and fixed them.Brian was very knowledgeable and helpful.A very positive experience and glad we stopped to ask about restringing a pearl necklace. They actually double knotted the string, so it is now nicer than previously.Thank you and your staff for their professionalism and excellent customer service.

There were a couple different issues/ items that we wanted help with. People were available promptly to help us, from setting up to restore an old watch to cleaning jewelry etc. All were friendly and personable as well as knowledgeable. This is always the first place we go to for our occasional jewelry needs and they will continue to be that!

They are very fairly priced and even worked with the price to get it down a little (without me asking). Also let me talk about the turn around time. It was less than 24 hrs!! Yesss that is not always the case and depends on demand. The fit was also perfect! But I’m so grateful I found this jeweler. And I’ll definitely be back for any needs I may have!
