Dori L Durbin: We bought an antique clock and took it here to see if it could be repaired. The owner told us that he would try and if he couldn't fix it he would not charge us. He did get it running but that's it. He had it for several months with no phone calls at all to tell us of the progress. We finally called him and we went to get it. We had to take it back twice because it would just stop running. It does not work. He said it kept good time in his shop the whole time it was there. However, the last time we picked it up it was around noon and the clock read a bit after 5. And he told us it kept good time. I realize it is very old. But it doesn't work like he said it does and we feel we should get some of our money back. He did not fix it. We do agree that he should keep something for his time but we should get some kind of refund. We will never take things here again for any reason. Sorry but he didn't fix it. No we will not bring it back. It does not keep good time. And if it works so well why did it say 5pm at noon? Not an unfair review. You owe us money back. You had it for several months and no communication. Sorry. We will not be back

I ask to have ring resized, guy looks at ring, then walks away for about 2-3mins never explaining anything to me as the customer. Comes back & then says are you sure on the size, cause if we have to size again, we would charge for that. Well duh, doesn't a business charge for work even if not their fault? Or do u think I won't pay 🤔 now the second ring, he says he can resized, then pushes me off to the lady working beside him saying resizing is too risky. He explaining this to her as if I'm not standing there, & has her explain to me. What was the point! The lady was very helpful, however this is not the way to treat a customer. I feel alot of assumptions where made which played into this negative experience.

I tried to use the warranty to have it refinished, but was told by the store that I had to pay a $60 shipping fee for the service. The warranty document did mention a shipping fee, but I didn't question it, because I assumed it would be a typical shipping charge. In my opinion, a shipping fee of $60 should be clearly stated on the warranty document.

Sean Anderson: Not too bad of an experience. The jewler didn't really show me everything they had in store to offer.. I asked to see Amethysts and a that I needed a nice valentines day gift for my wife.. they showed me everything under $200 and only 4 pieces with Amethysts. They had much much more on display..I felt like I was pointed in a certain direction and that made me not want to purchase much at all after that. I would have spent way more on some nicer pieces.. I suppose they would like me to spend my money elsewhere. The items I did buy are very nice and my wife does like them.

And when I asked one lady about it another attitude behaving lady budged in the middle n shes all looking at me awkward n weird with her not so friendly look.. To put it in a "decent" way.. I was like y did she hop in the middle when I asked the other lady bt the jewelry fixing issue.. Either way she told me they can't bc they only do sterling silver or. Gold?? Which amazes me as to how jewelry shops here can't fix any kind of broken jewelry n I tried to keep calm with her nt so friendly attitude n while i was walking away she gave me weird looks n I'm sure was talking behind my back.. She had pink highlights.. Not a great behavior for a jewelry store employee @! @! @! Very displeased@😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😠👿👺

Melinda Smith: I don't usually write reviews but I must warn people about Kay Jewelers. My fiancé, got me a beautiful Leo diamond ring and we sent it out to get sized the following day. They said, it would take two weeks for the sizing which was understandable. After the two weeks, I went to pick up my ring and I noticed multiple big starches on the band. The starches were extremely noticeable and I told the customer service lady. She took a look at my ring and said, "I don't know, what we can do about this. I'll have to let my manager know". First of all, what do you mean, you don't know what to do about it??!? That right there, was the wrong response. I certainly did not do that to my ring. I had to come back in the following day and talk to the manager and she apologized about the scratches. She then said, it would take a week to send it out and get it buffered. It had been a week and I still didn't hear anything from Kay about my ring. I decided to call them, to see where my ring was and they said the scratches did not come out of the band. So, now my band needed to be totally replaced and that was going to take about 2 weeks to do. So, I finally, get to pick up my ring and I'm extremely excited. This entire process, has taken a month to resolve now. As I go to pick up my ring and try it on, my ring is not in my size. So, yet AGAIN my ring has to be sent out and get resized and it's going to take another week. Also, the only thing they have offered us is a gift card for the inconvenience of their mistakes. I am very, unhappy with the way my fiancé have been treated during this entire process.

Breezy Michigan: Poor customer service. I only needed my 6 month inspection and I waited about 30 minutes. I understand busy, but everytime I go in there it is busy--never enough staff. However, when I see people being helped that came in after me, that makes me angry. I may not be buying like the person you skipped over me for, but when I do I will remember the rotten service. This happened 5/6/12 around 12:30/1pm at this branch in Eastwood. There were two women and a man on duty. All three moved like molasses and a couple of them laughing and talking with each other, but the man is the one that skipped me. Kay Jewelers - ever consider a "speed lane" for people who need quick service?

And Ron the owner is not only a jeweler he's actually a Goldsmith and can make some of the most incredible jewelry you've ever seen. All of my favorite pieces have come from h.h. jewelry and design including my wedding ring.

Andres Cacicedo: I recently went to H&H Jewelry to create an engagement ring for my Fiancé. I had the pleasure of working with Ximena, she was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me get what I wanted. Ximena made the whole process very simple for me and in 3 simple meetings I was done and out the door. Meeting #1 with Ximena was to discuss the logistics and budgets of the ring. Meeting #2 Ximena called me in to take a look at 3 different diamonds that would work within my parameters and budget. In this meeting I selected which diamond I wanted on the ring, and Ximena was a great help when it came down to selecting which diamond best worked for me. This can be stressful as there are so many different elements that come into play, Ximena had the knowledge to know where we needed to be in order to create the most perfect engagement ring. Ximena also helped me visualizing what the ring would look like with each diamond (she held it over a 2MM band so I could have an idea). Meeting #3 was to go see the final product and take the ring home. Needless to say my fiancé fell in love with the ring and was stunned at how beautiful it came out. I would like to give a big THANK YOU to Ximena & H for taking care of me and treating me like family. I highly recommend working with H&H Jewelry and ask for Ximena she will not let you down.

Randy Roze: Went in after browsing at Azzi for our first round of looking for engagement rings and the guy we had help us was very unprofessional and borderline creepy! He completely ignored my girlfriend’s after asking her what she wanted and showed her the complete opposite ring and said this is the one he thinks she’d look pretty in. He grabbed her hand multiple times from when we first walked in because he “reads hands” and after Saying the ring HE picked picked out wasn’t for her, he proceeded to take her hand and put the ring on her hand. That made her and me very uncomfortable! We are in our early 20s and this 40-50 year old man is being very touchy, pushy, and dismissive when we are the only 3 in the store made for a very uncomfortable and unsettling environment

When I got home I noticed the band was cracked. I called Brian and took my ring back he looked at it and we both agreed that it was probably because the band is so thin on the bottom and it's old. None the less he took it right back and fixed it.100% recommend them for all your jewelry needs and wants!

William House: I went to Medawar 7 years ago when I was buying an engagement ring for my now wife. I brought with me a 1.2 caret diamond that was my grandmother's. The diamond had a small inclusion in the lower area.Medawar told me the diamond was worthless and would break due to the inclusion. They even told me quote "it will break even if you leave it in a drawer and never touch it". They offered to buy the 1.2 caret diamond, that belonged to my dead grandma, for about $1k and sell me another engagement ring that looked like a tiny dirty pebble for $3k.I left and went to three other jewelry stores all of them were confused and shocked at the lies Medawar told me. I got the diamond placed into a nice setting and my wife has worn it ever since, and no it did not break like Medawar claimed it would. Also since then I have shared with every guy I know in the market to buy a ring how Medawar tried to rip me off for my dead grandmas diamond and my future wife's ring. It is still the lowest thing I have ever seen in business and just from another human in general.

John Obrecht: Repaired pearl necklace and they did an excellent job. Repair was done prior to initial delivery date. They went above and beyond and replaced a damaged pearl.Also, at no charged cleaned and polished my wife’s wedding ring set. Brian noticed to ring prongs were two bent and fixed them.Brian was very knowledgeable and helpful.A very positive experience and glad we stopped to ask about restringing a pearl necklace. They actually double knotted the string, so it is now nicer than previously.Thank you and your staff for their professionalism and excellent customer service.

There were a couple different issues/ items that we wanted help with. People were available promptly to help us, from setting up to restore an old watch to cleaning jewelry etc. All were friendly and personable as well as knowledgeable. This is always the first place we go to for our occasional jewelry needs and they will continue to be that!

Rebecca Nelson: The two employees there were closing down the store when I entered (not realizing it was a minute or two past their closing time). I told them that I was just going to request a 6-month wedding ring inspection but that I would come back tomorrow. The one who appeared to be a manager insisted on staying open to provide this service for me so that I wouldn’t have to make another trip back. Not only were these two gentlemen awesome, but I’ve received similarly great customer service every time I have been in there!

Nicole Redlawsk: Kay Jewelers is the WORST company when it comes to customer service. My now husband purchased my engagement ring in July of 2020. The ring was sent off to be sized after he proposed in August. The ring came back and was snug but I thought that it was the correct size. I am not a big jewelery person so I didn't know if that was how it was supposed to fit. Fast forward a year and we bought our wedding bands and again had my band sent out to be sized correctly. It came back and felt snug also but again I thought that was right. When I got home I tried on together and realized they were too tight. I ended up taking them to get sized again and was told to wait because they were backed up and couldn't guarantee when they would be back but it was a month out. So today I took them in and they charged me $220 to have both rings sized up. However, while I was there it was confirmed by an employee and assistant manager that both rings were not even the size they had been sent out to be sized to originally. So the original purchases were not sized correctly to begin with. I am very unhappy and will be making sure every single person I encounter knows that Kay Jewelers is the worst company. After sending receipts and talking to multiple people they offered me a piddly 20% off. I understand it's better than nothing but this was their mistake and they aren't taking ownership. I was in customer service for many years and this is not how a reputable business operates with their customers. Absolutely DISGUSTED!!!!!

I was going to come back and make a purchase for my aunt, and the lady I spoke to introduced me to two other gentleman who did not greet me and would not give eye contact either as well, they looked away. I will not be returning for my purchase for my aunt, I will be going to another jeweler because of the lack of courtesy coming from these two fellas. Patricia Kuptz: Every since the old team was replaced service has been terrible. I sent a chain out to have additional rings put in it, was told it was in, and when I went to pick it up they had sent it back without the repair.Last May I dropped a ring off to have the stones replaced. NO IDEA where the ring is or if it has been replaced.Please note: I have paid for both of these services. It would be nice to get what I paid for!

justen winter: Would not recommend this place! They will allow you to buy something over the phone but wont actually give you the info to your account they are very confusing and not helpful at all!
