Elta X: I always shop at Sephora, but today made me rethink everything. I tried on a gloss and noticed immediately that I was having a reaction to it, and the lipgloss smelled very old and seemed to smell very expired as well.. I told the lady working there and she was very unprofessional to me. She told me that everyone reacts differently and that what I was said is “irrelevant” to herHow are you a store customer representative and the condition of the products that you sell is not relevant to you? It is YOUR JOB for the products to be relevant to you and to provide good customer service. Never shopping here again.
Melanated Goddess: These people are with rude or prejudice. No one and I mean no one greeted me as I walked in our while I browsed the store. The only one with since customer service was my cashier. I'll never spend another dollar with them. You lost out on a big sale for being blatantly rude.
Hailey Hepner: I went into Sephora today to make a return. The staff at the front of the store were very helpful and nice until I got up to the register. The girl who checked me out was so extremely rude and disrespectful. I was very shocked by her lack of professionalism. Instead of helping me out she responded with a very dismissive and condescending tone. Her behavior was very off putting and made me felt unwelcome in the store. I love Sephora and I am a loyal customer however I will never return to this location again. It’s unfortunate since I go to school very close to here.

L: Going into this store is stressful for me, as I know nothing about makeup. Sabrina made Christmas shopping for my mom so much easier, she knows what’s up with all the products. Everyone in this store is super friendly and helpful, I feel confident going back here in the future if I need any other gifts for family members, and I would recommend you do the same.

Chandra Rogers: Today I was reminded why I do not frequent this location. I am always asked SEVERAL times if I need help or have questions, as if I am being profiled. One of their employees asked if I needed a basket because I had a lot of products in my hands. I said yes and he actually helped me with a product. A few moments later, he asks me if he can take some of the products out of my basket and place them behind the counter to give me more room in my basket. WHAT?! I’ve never been asked that and it made me feel I was being profiled. Why would I need you to do that?! Because you think I am going to steal?!? Then after I checked out, I noticed I had been charged twice for one of my products. Which makes me think he charged me twice because he mentioned he wanted one for himself. Based on feeling profiled, I wouldn’t put it past anyone! I am a professional makeup artist, who only wished to have a little retail therapy. My plan was to spend about $300, but I was totally disgusted and didn’t even spend half of that. This is part of the reason why I utilize my professional discounts and buy directly from companies, because shopping here just isn’t fun anymore. The associates name is Logan and I don’t plan coming back to this location. Actually I may not shop at Sephora again.

Tondra Price: I've been going to Sephora Eastwood since they opened there doors. And for the first time ever I was treated horribly. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted. I looked at an employee who was placing items in a drawer. Her name tag read, Markina. As soon as I asked her a question she rolled her eyes and swung her hair as if I had NO BUSINESS disturbing her. I quickly apologized for bothering her and she went back to what she was doing. I tried finding someone else but they were busy. I went back to Markina who was really annoyed and I asked her about the product. Without even checking she said I'VE NEVER SEEN THAT HERE. I asked if she could please point me in the direction and there it was. I paid 64$ and found out that Markina is a MANAGER!!! I could not believe it.

Nadia: This by far is my favorite B & BW, I'm usually outside waiting for the candle sale, and I love how clean and helpful the staff is. However on my last visit I went in for the first time with my son and there were about 5-6 employees on the sales floor and they were too helpful. I have over 10 years retail experience under my belt including being a GM over a store w/a major retailer. So I know about Loss Prevention, and helping customers to ensure they get the products they need but also LP. However the employees were on me like paint and my shopping experience was rushed, every 30 seconds the same 2-3 employees kept coming up to me or my son and it got irritating that I just finally picked something and checked out. I try not to think that because I am a poc that this Is the reason for them being overly helpful. I appreciate the help but It was overwhelming and I couldnt enjoy my shopping experience.

Theresa Grace: I do have to say if you've never been into one of these stores their products are more expensive then you would get at a retail store, see Walmart or Target. I would say they're pretty close to what you would pay at a drugstore for a product.With that set It is so worth that extra money I go in every every year about this time to purchase their pumpkin and apple scented everything 🎃🍏I do wish they would keep to the same sense every year. My favorite is the sweet cinnamon pumpkin. This year, however, I purchased an Apple hand sanitizer that I just love.I also like that they have different things like I purchased a Halloween tiny little bag. I purchased an air freshener for my car that you can push it and it lights up. It's got a bad on it. Last year I got a. I don't know if it's a lotion or soap holder that's it's actually ceramic in a bat. I just use them as a decoration though.This year I got a cute little pumpkin that I can put my soap in and when you push down he lights up.This is why I like the store. It's not just perfumes. Lotions they change with the seasons and they also have a few little cute decorations. Like I bought a pumpkin cover for hand sanitizer. The one I bought last year I wore him out. This year is a little bit different.

Britney Gutierrez: Went here today to return a product. Doors opened at 10am and I walked in at 10:01am. They processed my return and another beauty advisor came over and said we aren’t actually open yet because we need to finish inventory but we can take care of the return. Okay…then I said well can I shop now? They said, “No our manager wants to finish inventory and we won’t be open till 12.”You guys didn’t put signage on the door or lock it or honor your open time or a customer who what going to drop $$$. Horrible customer service. Good luck making up for this one.

tamara walker: So, 12/13/2022 my daughters went to Ulta to shop for a hair wrap today. They called me upset because of how badly they were treated/ignored by the cashier (who was carrying on a conversation with someone that wasn't shopping.) THEN there was an older lady standing around just STARING at them and wouldn't even crack a smile. Upon ending the transaction at the register, my daughter said thank you to the pre-occupied, rude cashier and you guessed it! She didn't even reply with a response. Now, I can name one reason why they were treated so horribly, but I'm sure you might be wondering what I already know was the case. My daughters are non-white and my first thought is that they were treated unfairly and rudely because those two people feel a certain way about people that don't look like them. Anyway, once my daughters told me of their awful experience, I called the store and spoke to Rachael, she was kind and very apologetic and assured me that she would be speaking with those ladies about how to treat customers (no matter skin color or whatever their differences might be.) Ulta Beauty is a very well-known beauty store / salon and I would be ashamed is my employees were being this blatantly rude to shoppers. It's a sad day in time when folks are still hanging on to that old mindset.

She was very patient with me and assisted me in finding a coupon. She was polite and professional! I cannot say enough good things about this store. I am not use to such fantastic customer service! My color wasn’t really what I wanted. I asked for root blending and keeping the blonde on my ends and it was basically just an all over color. Much darker than anticipated. Jane would always ensure I was completely happy with my service before leaving, the new girl seemed in a rush (I was the last person of the day and I think she was ready to go home) I told her my color was “OK”, didn’t offer to fix it, said we could change it next time I came in. I’m about a week out from my service and can’t tell anything was done to my hair 😢. Still can see split ends and feels like it needs a hair cut. This didn’t happen with Jane. $130 and tip- I don’t feel the service was worth that since I now have to go somewhere else to get what I wanted completed. In her defense, I did say I’m growing my hair out and to not take too much off, but I at least wanted the split ends taken care of so it will grow. I don’t think I will be back, Jane was the best.
Paige Smalley: ULTA never disappoints! I went in for Tarte concealer and was greeted as I walked in. I ended up needing advice on what kind of moisturizer and dark spot remover to get and the lady was right on it! I can honestly say both products have been working tremendously!

Grace Henderson: Adorable store and the staff are helpful and friendly. This store helps simplify your home with eco-friendly products. I have bought the unscented laundry detergent, unscented shampoo and conditioner, and the dish soap block, and will be re-purchasing. Last time I was there they had a little poodle hanging out which was so cute.

Beau Brockett: The people are the best part about Clean Refillery (a close second: the cuteness of the storefront). The staff here are not only happy to walk you through their products and how to use them, they understand that transitioning to a more eco-friendly lifestyle takes time, and not all products are going to best suit each person. They helped me figure out what easy product transitions I could make, and then gave me ideas on how to expand out the number of eco-friendly practices I was using when I felt ready.
k: They make it easy to simplify your life. Much easier to refill containers I already have and not buy products in containers that aren't recyclable. We need more stores like this.

Patti: I went to the store the last 2 days and there was a sign on the door saying they are closed due to unforeseen circumstances but would be open Monday. Yesterday the store was dark and empty but today people were in the store but the doors were locked and not open like they said they were going to be with a different sign on the door!! Are they going out of business?? Pretty inconvenient!!

This was so very disappointing, I've been to a few Sallys locations and I've never been treated this way (I'd understand if it was 15 minutes before close or something but my visit was 3 hours before close).I also noticed the lighting in here is strange, you cannot see color swatches very well. This store needs some attention.

mia hernandez: i know nothing about hair and my boyfriend said I would look cute blonde, little did we know my hair would turn Orange!!!!!!! It was so bad! I watched all the brad mondos (lol) I tried it all and I was literally so embarrassed to come in but this girl with pretty eye makeup (I didn’t see her name tag!!!) she gave me exactly what I needed and it turned out PERFECT!!!! thank you so much and she was so nice. Give her a raise 3

Stephanie Spyker: Really went in for some products I didn’t really know. The young man that helped me was so helpful. He know what ever product I would use and how I just colored my hair and was an amazing help. He didn’t have to read the bottle of the product he already knew his stuff. I will be back and he was so awesome and just knew it all!! I appreciate his customer service and was so helpful!!
Grace Thompson: Reid is absolutely amazing!! They go above and beyond every time I go to the West Saginaw Sally’s beauty and each time I leave with more hair care knowledge and tools to reach my hair dye dreams. Reid is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, personable, and makes the entire experience the best it can be.
Lisa Geibig: Have to say very friendly staff, pamela was amazing as well as the other staff , they new actually what I was looking for..and showed me what stuff to use...I'm completely satisfied with the customer service..I will continue to come to this location. .. there staff is completely amazing.

Marley Kratzer: I have been coming to this location for years and i’ve always had a great experience. I dye my hair purple with semipermanent dye, so it requires a lot of upkeep to make sure it looks fresh. Today’s visit was particularly wonderful! Koda and Reed provided excellent customer service, and provided myself and other customers with great product recommendations while still trying to save us money. I hope that management sees this, you guys have a real dream team on your hands!
Elizabeth Hackney: Sucked w.saiginaw store mascara was dried out. Cashiers gossiping out loud in the store. Was not asked if I needed help after looking 20 mins. Will not go back!

Latoya Thomas: I actually dislike this location. If you are African American, they seem to follow you or watch you. They’ve moved all of their ethnic products to the front of the store by the counter for that reason. It’s quite insulting.

Marissa Jean: Are your businesses currently closed on Mondays? I have 3 sallys beauty’s around me and all 3 of them will not pick up ONE phone call. I need an item I can only seem to get at sallys and it’s pretty frustrating when your stores doors are locked at 4pm with no notes on the door about Mondays? and not one employee will answer the phone any day I’ve called this week. Super unfortunate.
