900 West Apartments and Townhomes: what do users think?
Michael Vader Misner: In and out.
Ryan Dinehart: All preliminary conversations are through AI. The system is incapable of answering simple questions. Their AI asks if you will qualify for income requirements but wont say if they are section 8 or "low income" units. Cancelled my tour immediately after driving through facility.
Kay Hetzer (Kay Hetzer): Cost way to much to rent there...
R T: This place is the best complex I've ever lived in during my time in Lansing. The office people are so prompt and friendly, and they really do care about the comfort and happiness of their tenants. Every problem I've had has been taken care of very quickly and professionally. Maintenance is quick and efficient to see to any repairs I've needed (which wasn't much, since these units are very well kept up already). I've really enjoyed my time here over the past few years, and I would highly recommend 900 West to anyone I know.
Cameron Bruneau: The community is great, and the maintenance team is even better. When we needed a maintenance man to come out on Christmas morning, they came within minutes. If you're looking for a good community to call home, this is it!
josh tarrant: Great location and the staff is very professional I've never had a better experience renting any place else and would highly recommend anyone seeking an apartment to start their search here
Kailei Toth: Love this place!! Tera is absolutely amazing she goes above and beyond!!!
Shazelle Hurt: Nice place to live, very quiet. They always had something going on at the office. However the price you pay for the apartments 2 bed room no update inside, or any amenities for the amount of children that live out there to do. Just the park, and that's not even enough. I think they should have a pool or a dog park or something. Give the residents something to do for the amount of money they pay to live out there.
Steve N: Lived here for 4 year. Car was broken into 3 times. Pretty sure someone comes through every night stealing stuff. Gunshots all around the area. Terrible place to live for this price. Layers of paints that peels if you barely touch it. Cheapest light fixtures and appliances they can buy at Menards. And they will charge you for every penny they can when you leave. Made me pay for all new flooring for a tiny spot that could have easily been patched. Terrible experience terrible place. Highly recommend finding somewhere else to live if possible.
Allison Shaw: I love living at 900 West! The community is quiet and family friendly and the office and matinence staff are professional and kind.
Jordan Pearl: Tera was great from start to finish. Making sure I had everything I wanted and needed from the time I moved in until the time I moved out. Always trying to make sure I was happy and satisfied. The maintenance guy Jose was great as well always fast and on top of it whenever I had a problem. Thanks for my experience at 900 West.
Stephen Davis: Top ranked leasing agent Teera helped me through the whole leasing process. Really appreciated her ability to communicate and elaborate any situation that was in confusion. Her open communication was very helpful in the completion of my residency in 900 west...Thank you teera for being such a great and beautiful person ❤ 💕 💗
Abdu Jemil: This place is very nice! It is clean and quite. It is a perfect neighborhood. The finishing is amazing including new carpet, great painting and remodeling. Leasing was very smooth. Tera from the leasing office helped us with the paperwork, touring, and she supported us from the beginning to complete the paperwork to get the unit of our choice.
Elizabeth Rhodabeck: 900 West is a place I can call home. The front office team is awesome & understanding. Maintenance (Jose) gets your work orders done fast & promptly. I really like it here! 😁
Rebecca Whitcomb: Beautiful place to call home! Staff is helpful and kind. Grounds are kept up nicely with fun florals in the spring and summer. Highly recommend these townhomes if looking in this area!
Krissy Jackson: Clean, cozy townhomes. Management is excellent; very attentive and understanding. Maintenance is always quick to respond to issues. Neighbors are very kind. The complex itself is clean and kept up nicely. I definitely recommend!
Zachary Marc Phillips: Its wonderful. They offered me a bunch of solid lease deals to pick from. They've been reaching out the community to get people interacting. They have responded well to suggestions and request for help or maintenance. And even though Covid sucks, they've done there best to stay optimistic for us. I really hope this post helps. I've been know to look for the good in most things but this is a sincere one for sure. Making good memories, meeting great people, and being part of a community are the only things that kept me going in 2020.
Jeanne Kinsey: Maintenance staff is super friendly and very expedient! My HVAC was making a whirring noise and maintenance came right over at a time convenient for me (I work remote from home) and replaced a valve which stopped the noise! No fuss needed with an outside vendor, and very knowledgeable and friendly maintenance staff. Thank you to Joe and Violet!
Carissa and Boyd Kneebone: This is long, but worth the read!We moved here from Colorado right at the start of the Covid epidemic and needed to find a place quickly. They worked with us and got us in a place within a week ( amazing!). We have enjoyed living here! The staff is amazing, quick to answer questions and concerns. The maintenance guy is great and very responsive.Update: We were able to qualify to buy a home, unfortunately, due to Covid and some other factors our closing was pushed out. We reached out to 900 West Townhomes to see if they would work with this and they didn't even question it and said they would be happy to let us stay a little longer.I don't know where some of these negative reviews are coming from but I rarely do reviews because I have such high standards and I just had to! Please consider living here, it is not perfect but what place is? Management is amazing and they truly do care about their residents! They will go above and beyond to make your stay be the best that is can be. 5 stars all the way!
Tania G: Update: After talking with Tera, she clarified everything and I received my deposit.I moved out and received a Move Out Statement with confusing numbers and late fee that doesn't apply and they are not giving me my $300 deposit back even though the apartment had no damage and I always paid on time as agreed. They ask you to respond to that notice within 7 days and by certified mail making it difficult. I have sent emails and left VM and no answer. So, once you move out there is no response.I sent my letter claiming my deposit back by certified mail like they asked and willing to file a small claim if necessary. I'll update this review when I get an answer.I moved in here temporarily and went from 4 months to 6 and I'm very happy with management. I had issues with my AC and hot water and they took care right away. I like to stay in communication about my rent payment etc. and they respond immediately. When I was looking for a place they were the only ones that were accommodating enough to my needs. No complains here.
Gisss Mtz: A very nice place to live at and great environment. If you have a complain maintenance comes right away they try to fix everything right away for you they’re very helpful very nice people. I honestly don’t have a complaint from them. Thank you 900 west

Willow Ponds Townhomes: what do users think?
Key Israel: Pretty unfair rental requirements. Application seems to rely only on credit history and if your credit is anything less than perfect you will most likely be denied. It would be nice if they considered things like employment history, income, rental history etc...Most people pay their rent and bills so they have a roof over their heads and heat/water/electricity before paying credits cards and credit reports don’t necessarily reflect this.

Cambria Townhomes: what do users think?
Aaron Noyes: This property and staff are amazing here! I have never lived anywhere better they keep up with everything maintenance. One time I needed something repaired and they did it all in less than 24 hours!!!!! Kristen and Adriana are always helpful with finding places or questions about billing I definitely will be renewing here another couple years.
Brian Kerentoff: It’s the worst apartment complex in East Lansing, anything DTN is throw away your college kids money. I’ve had two floods since may, I got mice in my apartments, my upstairs floor boards are rotted from the floods, possibly mold, they were supposed to replace the old metal closet before we moved in never happened. Says internet is included and they randomly shut it off, place is a joke! Had maintenance come during covid with no mask, told me it was my responsibility to pick up and clean the electronics in the basement after they grew a tree on the water line. Do yourself a favor, run!
K M: This place is absolutely awful. I will never live here or rent from DTN again. During my lease at Cambria Townhomes, I witnessed the unit next to mine burn down from the negligence of the renters. It took forever to remove the smoke smell from the townhouse and my asthma got so bad as a result. Property management refused to do anything about it until I had been to the office multiple times and sent them multiple emails. In the meantime, their suggestion was to go to the Red Cross if my roommate and I found it “difficult to live there.” Not to be outdone, we had massive flooding in the basement around February destroying even more property that was stored down there. There is asbestos everywhere in the walls which we unfortunately learned about after renovations started on the burnt out townhome. And of course, to add as the cherry on top, we had a mouse problem that had to be dealt with.Don’t be fooled by the low rent prices or the fact that it’s in a family-oriented neighborhood. Don’t get lured in by the no security deposit offer or giftcards or whatever. The townhomes are falling apart and the management, especially the property manager Casey White, does not care at all. Worst living experience ever. I still have nightmares sometimes about living there and waking up to fire or flooding or mice or whatever Cambria threw my way.
Juanita Mitchell: I am, perhaps, one of the longest residing tenants here at The Cambria Townhouses and have seen various maintenance teams come and go. However, very recently, Jared joined the group and I must say that he has been one of the most concerned and dedicated to affording A-1 service to the residents that we have ever had. He wants to do his best to complete maintenance requests in a timely fashion and always follows up to make certain the residents are pleased. Anyone considering a move to this complex may rest assured that Jared will provide excellent maintenance assistance.
Beatriz Ibarra (Beathebug): Loved my time here! great space for the price.
Christian Narvios: My roommate and I loved this place! Our biggest requirement was that we needed to have a washer / dryer in unit. At first our place did not come with them, however, after informing DTN how important it was to us, they gave us a new pair for no additional costs. Anytime we had maintenance issues, the staff was on it and would usually solve our issues within 24-48 hours. The Townhouse itself was fantastic! Extremely spacious, great size rooms, all utilities worked with no problem and we barely were able to hear our neighbors. Basically you will get SpartanNet as your ISP who are actually very fast, as they use Fiber Optics, and they are pretty responsive. As far as utility costs, they were pretty reasonable. We would pay between $65-$136 total, therefore, $32.5-$68 per person. There is a huge trash bin just outside in the back that made taking the trash simple and convenient. You get two parking spots with one of them being covered which is fantastic during the winter. You get access to the Abbott Pointe Apartments' pool and workout facility which requires a key fob which is pretty nice as it is never that crowded. For the overall price, around $650 (including internet, utilities) each per month, Cambria Townhouses is one of the best place anyone can live in the East Lansing area. As a college student, it was only about a 10-15 minute moped ride to campus. Clutch location, clutch price. Just clutch. Highly recommend :D
Taylor Williams: Great maintenance and staff! Very spacious & close to MSU!
Breezy Michigan: I'll start by saying that I used to love living here, but it is getting worse. I love the space, the garden space and patio, the carport, the washer and dryer in the basement, and the quiet neighborhood. It is also close to everything I need. That being said they do have their issues. The biggest problem is parking. There are enough parking spaces for every place to have two spaces, but they will only give me one because everyone's name needs to be on the lease. They say they try to be "fair" and dole them out on a case by case basis. I would think the fair way would be to give each place two spots and leave out the judgment calls, but that's me. If I had said I bought myself a second car, apparently it would have been fine. So there is no overnight guest parking since parking isn't allowed on the street overnight and Cambria threatens all of the time to ticket and tow cars. Spots sit open instead. I've lived here for a few years and never had a problem with parking until this year. They seriously expect people to park at Arbor Glen miles from here. I've seen that lot. There are several nights that it is full. So that option is totally not realistic. If you have any sort of life, I'd avoid this place. And my neighbors are incondiderate of space. My previous neighbors were fine, but not so much anymore. They are inconsiderate and don't know the meaning of white parking lines. I always said I didn't want to move from here anytime soon, but I have found the one thing that will make me move to a new place - very poor parking.More students are moving in so I'm concerned whether the quiet environment will remain, but I'm hoping they are graduate and/or quiet students since noise does carry a bit especially if the windows are open. Most of the time maintenance is quick. One time the office was slow to submit a maintenance request. There was also this one time that it took them months to fix my ceiling fan and while it works now it does make this clanking noise all of the time that is irritating when I'm trying to sleep. The basement also gets leaks in the spring snow melt and when we get a lot of rain. They say there isn't much they can do. Oh I also have too many spiders. They said they could spray but spraying doesn't do much for spiders because their bellies don't touch the ground/poison. So I passed since I'd rather not have the chemicals if it doesn't work well. The building is old and it shows. However, they have been working to improve things. They have replaced the windows and added insulation in the attic. I wish they would replace the doors -- the doors going outside would be a priority since I can feel the cold air coming in around the edges during the winter, but some of my inside doors don't close tightly.I'm not very impressed with the staff. They can be nice. However, they are rigid to their current rules and threatening ticketing and towing all of the time. Sometimes I've had to deal with staff at the Arbor Glen office (who manage our property) that don't know much or have given me incorrect information, but I've learned to contact supervisors. The lighting in the back is not good. Lights don't turn on very often so it can be dark back there. That being said I haven't had any problems. The grounds are okay. They do upkeep things. The mow regularly, but some bushes in the front are overgrown and invade the sidewalk space especially when covered with snow.Overall, this could be an okay place to live if they were more fair with parking rather than harassing residents. I've lost my desire to live here. I won't stay some place where it is inconvenient and a pain to live, and I *hate* moving.

Mohammed Alimari: It’s a good 😊 people over here and good management and they got good services for the place and residents. Good place for low income.
Monica Croft: All the residents are disrespectful. The kids run wild and unsupervised all day. They vandalize homes, trees and cars. Break windows by throwing rocks. Antagonize and tease dogs. Rip fences apart. The manager refused to take responsibility for any of the residences actions. Ray is absolutely no help. Denial and refusing to answer phone calls is what he’s best at. When trying to get things solved by calling corporate they are absolutely no help as well. Even with providing video evidence. If moving in, beware your stuff will be vandalized with no repercussions.

Autumn Ridge Townhomes & Apartments: what do users think?
Nik B: I can here looking for a place to live and took a tour, this place is a dump. Buildings and garages look like they are falling apart. Seems like no one cuts the grass or maintains this place. Look very run down and nasty.
chantelle henry: Horrible landlord to have. Layout is nice inside, but DO NOT move out here. Save your self the headaches and stress. Their office managers and staff are getting worse as time passes by.
Jordyn Potter: Edit for April 2023The new staff is amazing! I filled out a work order and maintenance was here the next day, and he was great, thank you Manny! It really feels like this place is trying to do better! The new management team and office ladies have been a pleasure to work with as well, compared to what we dealt with in the past, very helpful. The only thing that could make me happier is if the pool they advertise would open up this year and maybe if they fixed up the outdoor lights. Fingers crossed.Old (4/22) They don't have the amenities they advertise, no pool or working laundry for the past 2 years. And none of the street lamps work, it is terrifying to take my dog out at night.
Noah Walker: I thankfully have never moved here or lived here before, but the news speak for itself. There's way too many red tagged apartments and the people running Autumn Ridge don't even have rental licenses. Total slumlords to the core!
Dominique Cochran: I’ve been staying in autumn ridge for about a year now I’ve never had any issues since I’ve been living here. Mariah was my leasing agent she helped me find the perfect unit that worked for me and my family all around Great person.!
Madison Vanderley: Great place to live! If you love gas leaks that never get fixed!!
Rob: Obvious slumlord’s. I visited a fried here and the place needs major work.
Dorene Fuller: Melanie is fantastic!!! Extremely helpful and gets back to you as promised. She’s friendly, knowledgeable and keeps her word!
David Johnson: "The complex has been operating without a valid renter’s certificate since 2017.City officials say the apartment complex has more than 600 units and each one is being rented out without the proper legal documents. The city says the apartment complex is not up to code and some of the units have been marked as unlivable."Not to mention the pool is permanently closed, even though every advertisement of this shows images of the pool.Do your research. Read the news.
Chloe Secor: I recently went for a tour and they were not super prepared, but they were kind. However, the apartments were not in great condition (one of the models had standing water in the basement) and the exteriors were full of discarded bikes, children's toys, and other debris. Many of the apartments are still pink tagged and the leasing office made no mention of that or any current maintenance. I was also quoted prices that were not only different from online but the documents I was handed at the end of my tour. I really wanted to like Autumn Ridge, but it does not seem like a safe place and management is very scattered.
Theyo101: Office has been very helpful during our move. Melanie made sure everything was in order and we knew all needed.
D P: Mr.Metaga was very great and helpful and the space in each apartment we viewed was very wonderful.
Joe S: DO NOT LIVE HERE. THE PROPERTY IS TRASH. MANAGEMENT IS TRASH. MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT IS TRASH. NO STREET LIGHTS. CRATERS IN THE LOT. DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT EVEN PAY AN APPLICATION FEE. ITS NOT WORTH IT. PROMISE. RATHER THAN FIX THE PLUMBIMG AND THE SEWAGE BACK UPS IN SEVERAL TOWNHOUSES. THEY JUST CHOSE TO END OUR LEASE WITH VERYLITTLE NOTICE. PLEASE DONT LIVE HERE. THEY WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF ANYTHING. THEY'LL JUST "NOT RENEW" AND BOARD IT UP LIKE THE rest of the junk in here
Danny Telemin: I moved here over the summer and i really like living on the property! Maintenance has been super helpful with any needs and Regan from the office is very nice and helpful.
Aleighya Beach: The office staff are super nice and inviting! Regan especially! I enjoy living on the property because it’s close to everywhere I need to go and the extra space in the townhome basements are super useful.
Megan: The office staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance staff fixes major problems quickly.
Turtleitis: Though the units are clearly older and in some serious need of TLC. The Autumn Ridge office staff has been incredible. They are incredibly friendly and willing to help with any problem that I’ve had since I’ve moved in.
Sugandhi Sawhney: Lived here for a couple of years. Terrible maintenance. Poor to no follow through. Buildings are terribly maintained both in and out. The kicker, however, is that the apartment complex management has no qualms about holding on to the money they owe you after you move out. I’m going on 2 years waiting for a “call from the manager.” Incompetence is one thing but this management takes poor management to a whole new level by also being unethical in their dealings. Their management seems to undergo changes frequently which is what they continue to blame their incompetence on. Most employees I have spoken to are either clueless or repeat the same dishonest speech every single time. Seriously not worth living here.
Iph Vic: Excellent customer service! Metega and Regan went above and beyond to ensure I had no issues with my move in
NaomI Butler: Although I’ve had my own issues with the complex Regan has made things so much easier on my household. She’s been extremely generous and supportive. She goes out of her way to help others and is extremely appreciated!
Leah Bellomy: The office staff lies. It's all based on credit not income!!!

Oakbrook Townhomes: what do users think?
Kristy Griswold: Lived here for a little over a year, moved out during the middle of the pandemic. Definitely a good option and the private patios really are a gem. Plenty of parking which is hard to find in Lansing. Really a great location in terms of convenience. However we had several maintenance related issues while we lived here: our subfloor rotted out under our front door due to water damage (this was fixed, but the water issue was not addressed so it still leaked into the basement), there was a leak at the back door as well that took several attempts to fix, our thermostat broke during the winter and maintenance came to fix it but left saying they'd return but never did so we had to call the leasing office to figure out what happened as we were without heat overnight, and lastly, we had big crickets in the basement. All that being said, usually maintenance was very quick to respond, it was just the quality of things that was the issue.
McConnell Adams: I have lived here for 2 years. The staff is exceptional. Maintenance is exceptional. If there were ever any issues they were on it in 24 hours or less. They just upgraded the cabinets, floors, kitchen appliances, and bathrooms. Highly recommend.
Batman Banks: Good place
