They ended up inspecting my whole car, for free! I believe her name was Rose, she sent me a link with all the maintenance that needed to be done and a price on it all. Little did she know I've been trying to figure out what was going on with it for a while, just was gonna take it step by step. He said to call the following week since he had to order them.The not so good:I called Tuesday afternoon and was told the tires were in. I asked when I could come in and was told by the lady on the phone to come in at 8am and they can be done in an hour. I came in at 8am and was told it wouldn't be an hour. It ended up taking about 3.5 hours. This isn't an unreasonable time, the issue is being told it would be an hour. I don't need to be the top priority but I like to have reasonable expectations set so I can plan accordingly.The interesting:One of the tires sprung a leak and day i got it and I called. I was told to bring it in right away. I brought it in and the lady at the desk took my keys without saying a word to me. I just wanted to know what the plan was but got nothing. I wasn't in a bad mood when I came back (things happen) but I was after this. I think it is reasonable to want to know what the plan is when something like this happens.The tire technician fixed it and was very kind and knowledgeable though.This would be 5 stars if customer service was better, but 3 stars as it stands. I understand people can have off days so I wouldn't say don't bring your car here, but I just wanted to share the good and bad of my experience.

His opinion on matters involving vehicles holds weight.I put about 30k miles on my 18 foot trailer and diesel transit every year, so having a good general service place is a must. It's usually a massive headache, especially since I'm only home from Monday - Wednesday and travel for gigs Th-Sun. But Affordable Tire & Service Center is legit. Their prices are extremely fair and they have some real talent in their service staff. Everyone is knowledgable and friendly - and they always seem like they're having a good time. Jared, in particular, is a super friendly and helpful dude. They'll let you know if a particular fix is going to be an unnecessary expense, which I always super appreciate. They saved me a lot of money on repairs, diesel oil changes, and, of course, tire replacement (my rig has 10 tires in total).This is top notch local business and I'm certain you'll be more than pleased with your service.

They charge to look at your vehicle even if they don't fix it) from them that would've cost me $2,194-$2,251 If they had done the work. Luckily I had a guy with me that knows vehicles, because being a woman I am very skeptical of mechanics. He told me that the estimate Vision was giving me was way more work than what I actually needed to be done for the problem that I had. He even asked the guy giving me the estimate about all the extra work he was including that didn't need to be done... Vision's employee gave some reason about why they couldn't execute the repair that way.I contacted another auto mechanic shop who also agreed that all the work I was told that needed to be done by Vision was unnecessary.They even walked me under my vehicle to show me everything; so I could see for myself what actually needed to be done & exactly what they would be fixing. They fixed my vehicle in under 1 hour and I was only charged $212. Along with the parts and labor having a one-year warranty. Now my vehicle is back to running good as new. And I didn't have to be ripped off by paying over $2000 more than what it actually cost to fix.I suggest if you are a woman and you go to this shop you take a man with you that is knowledgeable in vehicles because if you don't chances are they are going to wipe your bank account by having you pay for things that you don't necessarily need.Service:Auto exhaust system repair

Mark Jacobsen: Had an Emission Sensor Problem error come up after having taken my car in for an oil change. After having the dealer quote me $5k in repairs including a catalytic converter replacement I figured I'd take it back to Vision JIC. Naturally the error code went away before I could do that so Vision told me to bring it back if it came back... and after a month or so it did. When they got it in the shop they ran diagnostics and found the software was not up to date. Of course when I had taken the car to the dealer (and they should have done the software upgrade) we were under just warranty and a few days later crossed over. Still Vision gave me the documentation and suggested having the dealer take care of it since it was their mistake. Lucky for me they did and I saved around $3k, but had I not came to Vision I would have been out that money and the dealer would have done an unnecessary repair. Thanks Vision!

They picked up my car, did some magic on my tires and runs and brought the car back to me. Destiny Foltz: I had run out of coolant and my car started smoking. I called them and explained the situation and they were able to send somebody over to take me home and sent out a tow truck. I believe Steve was the one who took me home, he was super awesome and very helpful. They made sure to keep in touch and call me with every update they had. They were super quick and very accommodating. I was only without a vehicle for a few hours and they even let me pick it up after close since I was busy. Super super friendly! Corey Buchanan: Wish I could give negative stars. Brought my car in to inspect an error code involving the throttle actuator; and an oil change w/ transmission fluid flush. After their "inspection" I was told that I needed a whole new transmission, throttle body, sway bars, and new tires. After I had said I couldn't believe that's what they thought was wrong with it and accused them of trying to make me do something I didn't need, they said "well you don't really need the sway bars". With a quoted price of almost $11,000. I picked my car up and took it to get serviced for an oil change, transmission fluid, and engine air filter. There they found my air filter had a hole in it the size of a softball... Also spoke with a dealership mechanic and their response was (what I already knew) that the mechanic had over estimated the whole job. For a company that's literal hold tone speaks of being trustworthy and not charging for things you don't need, I find it ironic how they didn't even check my engine air filter during the inspection after I had told them I wanted it checked out... Don't trust them, wouldn't send my worst enemy to even get a quote there.

Foster: I purchased a Roush Fox 2.0 level kit to have installed on my F150 and I normally have all my service performed through a local Ford dealership but they would not install it as this was not OEM so, per the recommendation from a friend, I contacted Don's and they quoted me what I feel to be a very reasonable price to both install and perform an alignment after. Leslie was able to get an appointment scheduled right away and Jeff performed the work above my expectations. Very unprofessional and it was all before closing time. So instead of getting our service and new tires we went to Tasmanian tire in holt.

D B: Honest review from a regular customer: In short, went to Firestone for my oil change on a Sunday (after calling on Friday asking for one over the weekend). I arrive on Sunday and I'm told that it was scheduled for the following Sunday. The head manager explained that there was no ill intent or wrongdoing on the part of the employee who scheduled it... Earth to said head manager, I understand that (I don't mean to be audacious, but you kept repeating this and I wasn't refuting it). I understand we make mistakes! My frustration is that from a company who speaks about the "Firestone family" and values customer service/experience, you as the manager couldn't apologize once or show any type of emotion that would reflect dissatisfaction on the part of the customer. As the manager, I would expect you to do at least one of the following 1. Apologize for the misunderstanding. 2. Check and see if there has been any cancelations. 3. Put me on a waitlist in the event that something opened up throughout the week. 4. Let me know that you are going to follow up with the employee to make sure that when confirming appointments with customers, a date is included. My car is a Chevy Spark and needed an oil change, usually takes max 20minutes to complete so I waited in the store after making an APPOINTMENT the day before. I ended up waiting in the store for TWO hours for a simple oil change. The mechanic told me they had the wrong filter and that it would just take a few more minutes, 30min later I was still waiting. I would not recommend this store or return the communication was not good. Becky V: Pulled in to pick up a tire we had ordered for a different vehicle. Found out we had an unrepairable flat(that had just happened on the way there). They were able to begin to put 4 new tires on within 15 min of this happening. Chris, the service manager, was above and beyond helpful especially since all of this was within an hour of closing time on a Saturday and they were already full.

Now I would like to know how to get my keys back out of the dropbox so that I can take my vehicle elsewhere?

I have a plug in hybrid and when I got the car back I noticed that my settings were all reset to factory settings. Other than being an inconvenience I don't think much of it but the next day, my car was dead. I had to have my dad help me jump start the car and drive it directly back to Liskeys. The receptionists were not at all accommodating and were gaslighting me into thinking this was just a coincidence and I probably just needed a new 12V battery. The only offer was to charge me $100+ to inspect it. I ended up leaving and taking the car to a Ford dealership who told me they likely left the car on auxiliary power so long that it drained the 12V battery which then caused the settings to be wiped. They could've told me that the battery died but instead blamed me for their blunder. My family has taken our cars here my whole life but will do so no longer.

Michael Feehan: I have a fleet of cargo vans and occasionally use them for brakes, alignments, and general repairs. I would definitely not recommend them for quality work or good customer service. I have found myself twice paying bills and taking it to another shop. The fact you can pay a bill and pick up the vehicle with the same problem is unacceptable from a professional repair shop. I was offered an apology from the owner. The front office manager has zero motivation to source parts or help if it’s more work than a phone call. I never leave reviews but these guys have been a waste of time and money.

C Cain: Have used Liskey’s a few times and always been happy. Referred countless people to them based on those experiences. My last visit however was not so good. When I picked up the car my tire pressure light was on, Liskey’s had mounted 4 tires for me. I figured it was probably just a little under spec and it was almost closing time so I planned to adjust on my own. The following morning I checked the pressure, about 14 psi low in each tire. That’s when I noticed the damage to my wheels. Clearly from the tire changing equipment, and definitely not there when I dropped off the car, I thought for sure a place like Liskey’s with a good reputation would take responsibility and fix the issue. Unfortunately that’s not what happened. They denied any responsibility and offered no solution. Now I’m replacing a couple thousand dollars in wheels thanks to their failure to take accountability for their mistake. Xosé López: My 2012 Subaru was a mess after I moved from NY: exhaust fell and broken, brakes wasted, and right tire doing a weird noise from quite some time due to a broken bolt, with a dangerously loose part of the car. ALL FIXED, and also they provide layman's explanations and showed hands-on to me where the problem was for every issue. Some people complain about they may take a lot of time, but that's because they have a lot of work because they are SO GOOD AND HONEST people. They have my highest recommendation.

Tim Kylman: Picked up my Mom's truck after they installed transmission lines. The lines leaked the transmission blew. With less than 50 miles on the vehicle they said it was her fault and it would cost $5,000 dollars for a junk yard transmission no warranty or guarantee. We called a transmission shop $4500 Jasper remanufactured with warranty,When we went to have it towed the truck had the window broken out the transmission lines cut the catalytic converter removed and it was suspiciously parked two feet outside the camera range. They never HONORED there warranty. I give them two stars because I honestly believe they were telling the truth about no warranty on the transmission that blew because be of thier repair.

I cannot recommend any other shop over the service you will receive at Auto Lab.

Ron Feher: Said they don't give quotes over the phone. That should have been my first sign. Like they don't have software that tells them how much parts are and how long it takes to put them on. I finally got them to give me a quote and dropped off the car cuz it was about what everybody else was charging. They called me the next day said they made a mistake and doubled the quote. As soon as I told them not to work on it I was coming to get it they proceeded to wait 20 minutes and call me back and take it back down to the original quote. Promptly went and picked up my vehicle. Those kind of sales tactics are so outdated and ridiculous I can't believe they thought anybody would go for that!Update: The bait and switch quote was double what 3 other shops quoted me. Funny the other 3 were all within $10 of each other. You called me back and reduced the price to what you originally quoted me that was the price the other 3 quoted me. Can you explain that away? You had my car so you thought you were going to hold me hostage. Not happening. Trying to work with you costed me 2 additional cab rides. Compltetly unprofessional and deceptive way to make double the profit on a repair. No need to talk further. I think we both know we won't be dealing with each other in the future. By the way it pays 1 hour. 4 bolts, How could you make a mistake on that?

j g: After a few days they returned with the same diagnosis I gave them at the beginning so a few wasted days isn't great but whatever. Then they quoted 2x to 3x the price for a part saying that was "his" price from Napa yet Napa's own website confirms Auto-lab is asking 2 to 3 times more. The part can be found on Amazon for 6x less than Auto-lab quoted. Had my vehicle towed to a more honest shop after talking with a rude manager (Sam) who just whined about how expensive it is to run his shop and how he needed his profits. Business owners and managers who whine about expenses are destined to run the place into the ground while blaming everything but their own decisions. Sure, making a profit is fine but trying to dramatically overcharge on an easily confirmed price is just bad management.
