Right now, the Walk In Cooler Industry is hit or miss, so I was worried that I was just going to get a high price, or have to wait a long time to get a quote from SRC, but I was totally wrong. They were super friendly and easy to work with. The sales person was very knowledgeable, and super helpful. They got me a fully priced quote and CAD drawing in a couple hours, where everyone else was either taking a week to get a quote, or not at all. dev khambhati: Worst customer service ever. Delays on delays on delays with no compensation for their mess ups. Finally after almost over a month I received my final 3 cooler doors. The original ones broke in freight and they delayed to send out new ones that held up my inspections for over a month. The cooler was scratched and banged up (I overlooked it even though I paid the price of a brand new Toyota Camry). When I did speak with John he dumped the whole mess up onto their glass manufacture and did not own up to the mistakes. Also did not provide any sort of compensation even after John (Sales Director) said he would work something out, I called him multiple times to get a response regarding that but he didn’t answer my calls. I will probably never use SRC Refrigeration again and I’ll warn others of their horrible service.

C F: Your business is not valued if you are not a big business. At least that's the only explanation I have for the way they have treated me. This is my third order with this company and all was fine until there was problem. The box was to be 7'-2" high, they sent 8' box, totally ignoring the height dimension on th the order. Ultimately, I took full blame for this mix up because I should have paid more attention to the fine print to the upper right corner, which showed the height. I took for granted that since, the width and length was correct on the drawings, the height will be also. While installing the box, it would not fit and that's when I realized it was 8' as opposed to 7'-2" as spec'd . I promptly email the salesman Steve and the Marketing Director John, to let them know that the height was wrong. I accept blame and said I needed to BUY! not beg but BUY a lower door because I will have to cut the side walls, in order for the box to fit. I'm in no position, time or many, new walls and door, so the best thing for me, would be to order a lower door and cut the walls to suit the door. My email went unanswered for a few days so I called up the parts Dept to order the door and he said he had to pass it on to the salesman. A few days went by and no answer from Steve, the sales person so I called up a few days later and no one would answer their phones. Not the parts, Steve or John, screening my calls I can only assume, how childish. All because they can't be bothered with the little insignificant buyer. A week later John, the Marketing Director, and I should give him credit because he did eventually answer, as opposed to the Salesman, who have not yet answered even once. John asked me, what should the final height to be, I said 7'-2". Well that was Oct 11th today is November 12th and to this day, not one of them have to courtesy to call or email to say anything. It wouldn't be so bad if they just emailed me to say, we collected you $17,000+ and you got your order so we are not obligated to sell you anything further. But not one word out of any of them. I'm am positive, they would not have dealt with a big corporation in this manner. If you are a small business person, beware, if something goes wrong, they will hang you out to dry.

Carmen Licea: Had great customer service initially, until we paid them in full. It’s been two years since we paid in full, and to-date, we still have not received the panels and the rails to finalize our cooler. We grow cherries and are in need to finish our cooler, but not even the owner is responding to us.Do not waste your money, the shipments they sent to us came with old/used and missing parts. Their installers had to leave due to the missing parts, leaving the job unfinished. We had to pay to an outside contractor to get the job done; however, we’re unable to finish because of the missing panels and rails. Our cherry will be ready next month (May), and we may be forced to store our cherry elsewhere, until we find a solution.
nicholas pappas: This guys rob is a joke came and dropped off the panels for the cooler without the fans and compressor I called him a 100 times with no answer I charge the charge back on my card and he said he delivered the complete assembly and got stuck paying the full balance with no compressor and fans

Enrique Figueroa: STAY AWAYContacted Cooler King in Dec 2018 after seeing an ad on Ebay. After speaking to Janice for a couple of months and doing my due diligence, I decided to proceed with a purchase of a 20x40 cooler. Jan quoted me the price of a used unit but said she would give me all new panels and door. Janice sent me the release form and requested full payment of the cooler. I paid the full amount via wire transfer in March 2019 as requested and was promised delivery and installation mid to late April 2019. I informed Janice several times throughout the process I had a hard install deadline of May 15th because I was going to use the cooler to store my cherries and the season usually started around the 15th of May.On May 29th Cooler King finally came to deliver the cooler. After inspecting the panels it was obvious that the panels were used and in poor condition. After spending the morning talking to Janice and the owner Rob that I was sold a new unit for the price of a used they agreed to return the panels and deliver nee ones at a later date.New panels were delivered two months later causing me to utilize an external cold storage to store my fruit although I had fully paid for the cooler and was promised a delivery and install prior to May 15th.In late August a technician from cooler king came to install the unit. After being on the job several days the technician was unable to complete the installation due to having missing parts (panels, rail, and joint plugs) and left.Prior to leaving the technician shared with me that his boss had not paid him and he was owed monies and could no longer work without pay and decided to return back to Michigan. I later learned through Janice that several other customers had complained about this technician's professionalism and quality of work.After multiple written (emails) and phone calls Cooler King finally sent out three technicians in early Nov 2019 to complete the job. Unfortunately the technicians brought "used panels" and forgot the rail for door and were unable to complete the job again.Over the past three months I have spoken to Rob the owner several times and he has promised to correct the problem by sending a technician to complete the job. I was told a technician would be coming the weekend of Feb 7th 202 and Feb 21st 2020 and both times the technician was a no call no show.Since then I have called Rob everyday asking when my cooler was going to be completed and he is no longer answering his phone.I have been patient with this company and have even offered to complete the project myself (adding additional project costs) but requested the missing materials be sent and there had been no response.In conclusion, I paid the full.amount for a new 20x40 cooler but only have 75% of the cooler installed. Although the pricing is competitive and they promise exceptional service. They simply dont deliver! I am now obligated to pursue a legal action to try to resolve the matter.

Billy Fox: Do not do business with these people. We had to spend an additional $5,000 dollars to get the box they put in up to speed. Their work was substandard. Paid for 4 door received 2. Both doors had to be reinstalled as they were incorrectly hung. They promise you everything but delivery nothing. In the end these people are rip off artist. Daniel Bradshaw-Hull: Communication and Service was excellent until my final payment was received. When my panels arrived, half were marked with a bad tag. I did not understand why until I picked them up. The panels that said bad were at least 100lbs less then the panels marked good. I have strong concerns the insulation in the panels is offspec or deteriorated below acceptable standards however it appears that I am stuck with them. I also received the wrong door. I ordered a Brand New door and was sent a much larger heavily used door. I have had the door for over 1 month and can't seem to get my money back or the door I ordered. Additionally, I have 1/2 of an HVAC system and every week have been told the coil will ship but it doesn't. I paid $24k for a cooler room, and instead I got frustration and disappointment. I do not recommend doing business with TheCoolerKing.

E Cramer: Where do I begin?Let me preface this with that I’m the owner of a major Aerospace Manufacturing company that purchased a walk-in cooler for a proprietary process.Contacted Janice at the Cooler King to get a quote for a 15’ X 30’ cooler. Had a tight timeline to have it manufactured and installed in order to keep with our schedule. Was assured many times that the three week timeline would not be a problem. Wired the funds to them ($14k) and waited to receive the product that was provided on their quote.After 4 months we still do not have a fully functional unit and after countless calls, emails, texts we still only have promise after promise that the owner, Robert D (owner) “would take care of it”, but today we still don’t have all the components. He actually made up stories that parts had already shipped to us that never showed up! Janice is so embarrassed that she won’t even answer the phone because of Roberts unprofessional behavior.Ordered the unit with a large barn door which still doesn’t operate because Robert never provided all the correct hardware for the door. Flashing for the door jam is missing, slider and wheels missing, door latch missing and the list goes on. One piece of track was mitered backwards, yes backwards.This wasn’t all that went wrong with this transaction either. We had ordered a locking panel system, but what showed up was a totally different unit. Damaged parts were shipped to us time after time, a few more components a week on separate shipments. Almost every shipment had parts that were damaged. It would’ve been comical if it wasn’t for the fact that the delayed schedule had such a negative impact to the project.I know this is a long post, but for those of you who have taken the time to read this, you will thank me.
