A google search led me to this place with amazing ratings and 40+ years servicing the community.Went in for a cleaning, I have been terrified to try a new place as the last couple I tried weren't the greatest. Absolutely loved the hygienist which immediately put my fears of a new place at ease. Staff was also very friendly. I was back in the chair within 5 minutes. Learned there are various different Dentists and hygienists in this office and probably won't see the same ones. I was a bit disappointed dentist didn't introduce herself a bit more was in and out. Hopefully I'll get to know them better on my next visit and will feel confident introducing the rest of my family here.

Re P: i woke up with a really bad tooth pain, googled the nearest dentist near me. saw the good reviews. called them and they took me in the same day. had my bottom left first molar extracted. the staff was super nice. dr hindi was super nice. everything was straightforward, pricing and recommended procedures. they took good care of me. it was a blessing to have gone there. paid $380 for the extraction and around $600 for bone graft.

She makes sure that you understand what to/not to do in order to maintain the best oral health. I've never had anyone to explain the mistakes that I was making that contributed to the discomfort I was experiencing the way she did. I listened and my issues were resolved. Don't look any further... this is the dentist for you. Your teeth will love you for it!!!

Aphrodite: I came here after a years worth of bad experiences at Great Expressions. They had a 5 star rating which was the reason I booked an appt at this location. I was so happy to be able to get my appointments here within a week for every procedure. I had a root canal done at a location they recommended in Royal oak and I was so happy with the results. I was able to get a temporary crown for the tooth within a week and have an appointment in 2 weeks for the permanent crown. The tooth looks great and they pretty much saved me from losing a front tooth. Staff…..they are sooo polite and sweet! At great expressions they rarely would answer calls and when they did they always had a nasty attitude so this place is a breathe of fresh air, you could tell everyone there loves what they do. Dr Hindi is amazing and very professional and gentle. These guys actually care about your dental hygiene. They’re not just dentists they’re saints.

I called brightside and I had an appointment the following Monday. I usually do not like going to the dentist but all I can say about bright side and Sterling Heights is wow! They were absolutely professional courteous answered every one of my questions. I have been going to my normal dentist for well over 10 years now and after only one visit at brightside I am seriously considering switching my dentist because I was so impressed by Brightside Sterling Heights!

She took X-rays and then the doctor came and explained everything that needed to be done. They not only gave me the steps to follow and how much it would cost me, but they also offered to start then and there. All office staff have been helpful to get appointments. The facility and equipment are average. Hygienic standards are not the best of the industry (e.g. plastic covers over the overhead light handles are not used).

Karen Walsh: The staff was mostly pleasant but after being put in a room I was told my cleaning could not be done until the water came back on. They said it should only be 10 minutes. So the dentist came in and looked at my teeth, which is usually done at the very end, after the cleaning. I sat in the room for a little over an hour and still no water. So they said I could leave. That is fine but I don’t feel they should bill my insurance for the exam when nothing was really done!!!

DDJ 2: I would give this office a 5 star. The receptionist (Jenny) was great. The manager (Sam) was awesome. The dental cleaning (Kate) was terrible! Kate stabbed my gums several times then turns around & tells me to relax because when I tense up, the pain is worse. I told her I can't relax because you keep stabbing my gums with the water pick. Then Kate measures my teeth. Mind you, my measurements are usually in the 2s & 3s. She says my measurements are 6s & 7s. Then, she says I need irrigation (she never mentioned it was a charge for it). I asked if this is a new procedure. She said this is a procedure that offices are requiring since covid. Then I get to the front desk & they said the irrigation was $33. Was she setting me up the whole time? The repeated stabbing of the gums, the high number from the measurements to justify the irrigation & to cover her but if she's questioned about it? I don't know. But I feel like I was set up. Needless to say, I called the office & requested that Kate does not work on me or my family again!

Hygienist wears gloves to protect her hands, but put the same gloved hands in the patient's mouth after touching the computer, keyboard, and everything else. I am tired of their incompetent service. It was better when I began there. The dentist use to examine after cleaning, not any more. Will explore other places.

I came in experiencing lots of pain from a decayed tooth and it was a horrible feeling, so they then helped me numb the pain because they seen how much pain I was in, within 15 minutes I was feeling better. They went over a treatment plan with me and even gave other suggestions if I was unable to pay the full amount. It was a very friendly staff and sweet as well. Would definitely go back.

Tom: Scenario- I split a tooth in half eating a snack at noon on a Monday. I call my regular dentist and she is out of town.Tuesday AM I search the internet for help. I find one dentist that is willing to help but after 15 minutes of questions they inform me that it is all cash on the barrel head and I can go to my dental plan later to get my money back. Glitzy salesman. No thank You.But then, I came across Sterling Dental. None of that Razmatazz slick sales hype just a quick few questions and boom I was scheduled for two hours later. Emergency appointment due to the pain. They have two offices that talk to each other so they can get you in quickly. Anyhow, baddabom baddabing.... I am in the chair with the doctor himself. I was numbed up and an Emergency Root Canal was under way. He did a great job! No pain. Listen to me. He is like the pain whisperer this guy. I'm no sissy but being hurt isn't something I seek out either. Great attention to pain management. The Hygienist was helping with me also and what a great person. They all were. While I was waiting for the numbing to take affect, they gave me free scratchoff lotto tickets to work on and boy did the time go by quick.......just kidding. No scratchoffs but time did go by quick.Thank You all for the urgently needed help and outstanding professionalism.On a scale of 1 to 10.......they get 11.

LaShanna Williams: Every time I visit Sterling Dental on 14 mile in Sterling Heights, the staff is always pleasant. I never have to worry about feeling safe from COVID as the facilities are very clean. They are very honest about my dental health. I take very good care of my teeth so they never talk me into getting anything I don't need. I recommend this dentist if you want professionals taking care of you.

David Miller: This place is not very friendly or welcoming to new patients. I called to make an initial appointment and they made very little effort to find a time to fit me in. They have strict rules about not making much time available for new patients. I thought maybe it was just the receptionist who didn't care, so I asked for a manager and tried again. When she called me back she was not very nice either, and said a Friday or Saturday appointment is not going to happen. She did not seem to care when I told her I was having a frustrating time trying to schedule a first ever appointment with them as a new patient.She told me she had to look out 3 1/2 months to find any appointment times available unless I could come during the middle of the work day. You should know they don't meet with new patients on any Fridays, and they only work 1 Saturday/month and those are booked out for the entire year... so be ready to take time off work if you want to see this dentist, but given that the staff here are not very friendly, I wouldn't waste your time, they obviously don't want your business.

Robert Fortucci: I came in not knowing what to expect, I needed a lot of work done and had some embarrassment going in, but the staff and Dr.Roumani and Klaudia treated me with compassion and professionalism. I felt so comfortable discussing my issues. They laid out a comprehensive treatment plan for me, which I appreciated. The office is clean and each area has different wallpaper of nature and light music to keep you calm. They were so gentle and talented with patient comfort and care. Dr Roumani even called me the following day after my appointment to make sure everything is feeling good. I would highly recommend anyone who wants a dentist and staff that truly cares. Do yourself a favor and go to TruDental. They also worked with my insurance to get the maximum coverage possible. A lot of my dental work costs were coming out of pocket for me, And they worked with me with pricing all of my issues out so I could easily understand every step and what each would cost. Thanks to Tru Dental for an awesome experience. I’m actually looking forward to continuing my treatment plan! I have 5 kids and I’ll be taking them to this office for sure.

Besides managing finances, Diane orchestrates patients’ appointments and staff scheduling.I went to another Tru Family Dental Office in the Bingham Farms area. They bought the practice of my former Dentist who served me for 40 years. They had well trained Dentists and Hygienists but they did not retain my former Dentist’s staff that processed my insurance coverage. I owed a bill for hundreds of dollars close to a year before I contacted Justin, a regional Tru Family Dental Manager. From his efforts, our insurance covered my outstanding bill. Diane and other supporting staff members make an important contribution.Another staff member fit the bite plate to the contours of my mouth and teeth. My Hygienist Melanie Osentoski has given me numerous tips on brushing and flossing my teeth. She is the one who spends the most time with me: Removing plaque and cleaning my teeth. She has given me specialized tools for cleaning and plaque removal from positions difficult to reach.I had great difficulty deciding whether I should choose Dr. Wael Roumani or Dr. Baxinder Samrao as my primary Dentist. Both Drs. Roumani and Samrao perform many specialized dental operations: Restorations, Crowns, Bridges, Root Canals, Dentures and Extractions. Over the past 40 years the Bingham Farm Office referred me to outside specialists to perform such operations. I am 74 years old. As I age, the need for such services are likely to increase.Dr. Roumani also performs Bone Grafting enabling proper placement and restoration of implants. During High School, his ceramics teacher recognized his dexterity and recommended that he pursue Dentistry. Indeed, Dentists in general and Dr. Roumani in particular have to perform delicate operations with their hands. Knowledge of one’s medical field may suffice for other health experts. Not so for Dentists. Their operations over time will prevent patients from suffering much pain from oral decay. Unfortunately, we patients suffer pain during these operations. Dr. Roumani’s training in sedation make his services all the more valuable?Why, then, did I choose Dr. Samrao to be my primary? I follow Benjamin Franklin’s adage: “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” She cared for indigent patients in Honduras. Dr. Samrao recommended the bite guard to reduce the wear and tear impact of grinding teeth while I sleep. The longer we can stave off the inevitable tooth decay resulting from my aging, the likelier dental science will progress toward replacement of natural teeth. Ceramic material is most like the human body. And expertise in shaping this material is found in Sterling Heights Tru Family Dental!Indeed Dentistry is a challenging field with much stress. Suicide rates are high for these professionals. They have demanding operations to perform with patients suffering pain. We are living in very challenging times. Since September 11th of 2001, we waged an unsuccessful war against terrorists. We suffered the second worst economic depression which most impacted the state of Michigan. Most recently we faced the Corona Virus Pandemic. Our median age is steadily increasing creating a growing need for medical workers. There is a shortage of willing workers and materials. Encouraging conscientious young workers in general and perhaps dental practitioners in particular is very important.

Stephanie Dancy: Dr.Roumani and Klaudia did my filling and it was actually a wonderful experience. I was pretty nervous about it but it was a breeze. Very friendly and they make you very comfortable. 10/10 would recommend

Chris (fp2sec): Broke a tooth, they were able to get me in the next day (the day I broke it was a ice storm, and I didn't want to go in that day anyways). Dr. Roumoni was AMAZING! I got a root canal, and had practically zero pain throughout the entire process. Klaudia the assistant was great as well, very polite and friendly. All of the staff was kind. The facility and tools seemed very up to date, I was blown away compared to my previous dentist. I wish I found this place years ago, it will definitely be my go to dentist going forward.
