Linda Pletz: In October, 2022, I failed at snorkeling in Key West, FL due to rough waters and inexperience. In preparation for my upcoming trip to Hawaii and my desire to snorkel, I decided to take a snorkeling class. I found Motor City Scuba & Snorkeling and I'm SO glad I did!! My instructor, Amanda, was wonderful and gave me great tips in a local pool for 2 hours. It was well worth the time and money and helped me greatly to achieve snorkeling in Hawaii. MCS has good inventory for a small shop. They have GREAT dive trips that are never, ever cancelled. ;-) Also, outside of the gear, trips and training, if you're a fan of Patrick Swayze and like to have fun, I would recommend Motor City Scuba - go see Mike and Chuck. 5 STARS! ;-)

The patience they had with us and the other students is what makes them the best. They explained everything and let you know what is expected. It goes with out saying that we were with out a doubt very nervous about this as this being our first open water diving and not the pool we practiced in, but their patience and understanding put us at ease. I was on the email list from a previous trip that was booked through them and thought it would be a good idea to use them again, I was wrong.

Alice Sosnowski: Val my travel agent was terrific....I just wish I did more investigating before I took the trip....the room was clean and daily service was good but I didnt rrealize how big the place was, thank goodness I rented a scooter. my travel mate had to hurry to the end of the pool every morning at 6 am just to save us an umbrella... the entertain ment was alwaysi n Spanish and I did not appreciate one of the girls shaking her bootie in my face on the beach. I expected more service like on a viking cruise. The evening meals were good...the buffet was ok if you like cold pizza...all in all I would not take that trip agiain

John Cadieux: I would like to share that val at 7 seas travel took care of us on a short notice and we had one of our best experiences to Mexico in a long time I also would have to say that delta travel dropped the the ball and they had a 9 passenger van for 300 people trying to get to our destination 1 van no other drivers and this was a arrival on a TuesdayStaff and everybody was greathate to think if it was a sat or Sunday.

Curtis Larish: I wish I could go lower than 1 star! Buyer Beware! I signed up in 2018 and even though I called them every month they sold all of the equipment I had already paid for to other divers!!!! I had left it on the rack for students inbetween classes and kept in constant communication! I bought the $4,000 package and so did my wife. In 2022 we cancelled the rest of our order because after 4 years they still could not provide most of the stuff we had already paid for. My dive instructor was not competent or able to teach my class let alone complete the open water exam so I had to transfer the course to Columbus SCUBA Inc. in Ohio to take my open water test at the same quarry Scuba Centers uses and this cost me an additional $100. After multiple complaints and asking to speak to someone else you are always turned back to Paul, the worst customer service employee I have ever met. Lazy, takes no notes, has no idea what you take or what he gives you. He sold my wife used equipment and gave mine away to other people even though it was labeled. My regulator had dives logged on it from a retreat the center had taken and then they "re-boxed" it to use claiming it was new. Sorry, computers have logs and do not lie. Every time I've been to the store since 2018 they had empty shelves and make excuses. Don't buy it if you can't walk out the door with it!!! Worse business I've ever seen!
