Visa C: My family and i used to use this place frequently either for booking our flights or use their translation services. They used to be ok before, but now we felt like the quality of service has definitely declined. From the moment you call, you feel the annoyance on the other side. I personally have felt belittled and given an attitude over the phone, which is pretty hard to continue the conversation. Also, something else I've noticed, you will definitely get a different treatment and prices for services if u speak Albanian vs English only. I believe their excuse for rudeness is the fact that ppl will still go to them because they need their services, but honestly they are not worth the disrespect you will endure.

b tenn4: There is no benefit to coming here, we paid more at World Traveltours for an economy ticket to Europe than it cost directly from Delta Airlines and the travel agent did not even bother to reserve our seats from DTW to AMS. Also, the travel agent did some type of trick by booking our ticket to a different ticket class which left us with a huge penalty if we wanted to change the return date on our ticket. The ticket class she assigned us came with a penalty of $500 per ticket to change the travel date, which is more than twice what Delta normally charges (I called Delta and verified their cancellation fee for an international flight is normally $200 when buying from them). They get a huge commission on our behalf by selling these ticket classes at normal prices and pocketing the profit.

Didn’t hear anything back it was Monday after 1. Called them they literally will pick up the phone wait and just hang up. Usually when a customers calling u say the name of ur business and u know like how can I help. So they didn’t and I thought ok maybe it’s a problem w the line but u can tell they picked up the phone they’re just not speaking. So I called twice more. I waited 20 mins and asked if she could call them , she calls the woman picks up. My mom gives me the phone the lady has a rude tone and is like what does she need. I mentioned Friday she’s like no we don’t have that info. I said I called this number Friday u answered fine and today ur just hanging up on me but whatever I need help finding a ticket for these dates. She’s like give me a few. She did help me find a decent ticket but I said I will call her back later for the reservation. I realized I told her the date wrong by 2 days I got my mom to call her on the phone and ask if she can find something else and she went off rudely to my mother too.Can they do the job? yes Will you be satisfied w the interaction? Not at all. Dan Z: Well I was sadly disappointed. I 've been looking at a once in a lifetime vacation and figured I'd support a local business. So I checked out Disanto's website, found the times they were open. Nothing informing you of any restrictions. Drove over to the facility, it didn't look busy at all. Went in the front door and found all the other doors locked. Turned to leave and a very nice young lady appeared and talked to us through the glass, she informed us they weren't doing in person visits and we needed to call back so they could help us over the phone. So if I called them from my cell phone from the entrance they would've helped me through the glass? Nothing stated this out front on the markey or on the web site. So they wasted my time, if I wanted to use the phone or a website to book this trip I would have called one of the dozen online travel companies. Sorry this is all I have to compare my experience to, and that gets two stars. The building was there and one of the doors was un-locked. Still a big waste of my time.

Rachel D: Have worked with a few companies to secure room blocks for soccer teams and this one is hands down the worst. They don’t care to try and accommodate you, they say the need to contact hotel -which shouldn’t take long because hotels answer their phones and WANT to make money- but Traveling Teams just doesn’t care to do the work. Hope to never be forced to use them again. Tournament Coordinators/Directors should steer clear.

Brynne Wolfe: If you get charged more than the advertised rate because of additional resort fees (even though Traveling Teams says they will advertise extra fees), you’re out of luck. $135/night was the advertised rate through Traveling Teams. $205/night is what we ended up paying. That’s an additional $70/night, or roughly an additional 50% of the advertised room rate ON TOP of what we thought we’d be paying. They claim to be a service to make things easy for sports teams, but they’ve done nothing but cause my teams stress.

We asked for assistance in getting a hotel that several of our teams could stay at and they were unable to assist with this.

Nicholas Suttles: Terrible to communicate with and do not read nor respond to the daily text spam that they send. They have an incorrect phone number entered and even though the correct one has been sent numerous times via text AND verbally told to one of their agents, the messages are still going to the wrong number.

Charlene Pickett: Not forthcoming. First, the room rate through traveling teams was $20 more a night than the room rate quoted by the front desk of same hotel. Unfortunately, I was required to book through traveling teams. Second, as a parent chaperone I had to collect money from the families of 2 of the kids that were staying with us. The rate on the quote provided by traveling teams does not include state or local sales tax. This is stated on the form however, why can't they say what the actual rate with taxes and total will be? We know the hotel and city. Taxes will not change. It would make it much easier to collect money from families as soon as the reservation is made. Now I need to go back to the families and ask for more money.

They will not return emails or phones calls for a refund of the hotel I didn’t stay at. They give you the “manager will Contact you within 24-48hrs”But no one calls!

Jeffrey Defilippo: Forced to use them for a showcase in Chicago july 2022, set us up in a sleep inn 40 minutes from the fields. The hotel was dirty, ants in rooms and common areas , pool was not filled or open. Drug and police activity at night. Not really sure what this company was paid for. Advise your clubs to stay away from using them. Customer service did not respond . 0 stars if I could.

Nicholas Quinlan: Traveling Teams was used as a vendor for the Midwest US President's Cup 2022. This was a soccer tourament. The organization does not do it's job in vetting the hotels. All the Minnesota teams stayed at the Hilton hotel St. Louis by the airport. The kids were looking forward to the pool, which through Google reviews and calling the hotel we found was closed. No mini fridge or microwaves in rooms. Mind you families traveling are bringing drinks and food with no where to store in the hotel. The hotel was severely outdated and musty. Substandard conditions. I would stay away from this company for your booking needs.

Adam Forstrom: Incredibly painful to deal with. They respond to texts (which they initiated) 24 hours OR LONGER and blame it on needing to reach out to the hotels every time, even after they've offered you an option to book (why wouldn't you check availability prior to offering?). Calling them is just as bad, if not worse. It sounds like they're sitting in a warehouse of call takers (which may be the case) with so much background noise that you can barely hear the individual you're speaking with. It turns out it doesn't matter, because they can only refer you to the person assigned to your event/booking....who responds at the end of the next day just prior to going offline for the day. Eventually received some movement by emailing someone who was responsible for the entire event, although that was also pretty painful. I would avoid stay to play tournaments if I could and definitely if they were run through traveling teams (which is more like an insanely dysfunctional family than a team).

Tom Sugarman: Terrible experience. Their customer service is terrible, do not answer emails or web inquires promptly, long hold times. Then give contradictory answers. They (including their managers) blame everybody else (tournament, hotels, team manager, parents) and take no accountability or responsibility. Whole process seems exploitative. Tournaments that are thinking of using Traveling Teams should reconsider, unless they want to be viewed as part of the exploitation.

Kellie Malogan: When traveling for certain tournaments we are required to use this company in order to play. This is a rip off. The rooms end up costing more. Currently we are in a tournament in Las Vegas and the hotel we are at which was a choice of traveling teams is disgusting. When you look on the website of the hotel and other booking sites rooms are as low as $24 a night yet we payed close to $150. I really don’t think this company visits the hotels they give you as a choice because if they did the hotel we are currently at would have never made the list. Furthermore often times the hotels they give you aren’t anywhere near the tournaments. For example in San Diego they tried to out us at a hotel over an hour away from the fields. I wish these tournaments would stop using this company and allow teams to find and book their own rooms which we could do for a lesser cost.

Larry Harris: Very poor customer service. The online site works well enough, but if you need to talk to them, beware. I provided information for them and they never called back. The first call I had to wait 40 minutes. When I tried to follow up, the next agent just hung up on me when I took 2 extra seconds to unmute my phone after 30 minutes of waiting on hold. E-mail contact just said to call customer no-service.

SDH SDH: Traveling Teams is one of the worst run hotel middle men ever. They charge so much more and are terrible to work with. They rarely respond to requests, so many hotels don't want to work with them because they are so difficult to deal with and they don't keep their word. We were told we would have hotel rooms in 24-48 hours. It has now been 3 weeks and we haven't heard a thing. Even the management isn't helpful. Do not use!

Jim Maier: We did a tour in the early summer. It was excellent. They have friendly, knowledgeable staff. Their kayaks are high end models. Very comfortable to sit in for several hours. Even if you are not touring with them they let you use their launch ramps. That is a generous offer since there is not really any where else to launch in the area. We will definitely book another trip!

So glad they renovated this gem of a spot and turned it into such an awesome restaurant serving delicious, inventive dishes that taste so fresh they could’ve come straight out of the garden. Will definitely be back and order the Beet and Turkey Melt (hold the beets for me) again. French fries were also delicious. Mezza platter was a hit too!

The guides shared lots of interesting history about the area, which was the highlight of the trip. I’m planning to doing another trip with them soon! Pro tip: bring bug spray.
