Txxx Xxxx0xx: This place used to be emptier. (I read that empty review, or I mean the review that said empty space in it.) Now I was in there more recently and there was a lot of items! I was surprised. A lot of irons, and this place seems to have kitchen items that people, like you, I, or your neighbor May use in the kitchen. Which is good for myself, and others. There were movies I think on VHS or DVDs there and a wooden rack full of cassette music. I think it's one of the most filled up places right now in that area. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I haven't had a bad experience there. I hope this place stays open. The family dollar closed down. I really hope that doesn't cause a domino effect or affect. I'm thinking it won't. I'm going to keep having good thoughts about this place and the other places over there. Thanks for all of the service over the years so far.

K P: Best place to find anything and everything! Staff is the friendliest I’ve ever interacted with at a thrift store in macomb county. Yes the place has changed inside but for the better! Things are easier to find and it just looks so modern! I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Ice Refuarge: Clean and organized but older guy who checked me out was rude! Just asked a question, and he made a smart comment and then asked if I had change? After giving me my money back he yelled next when there was not even a line???
Misty Day: I used to love coming to this store, but today I had the worst interaction with a manager. Not sure of her name but she is black with dreadlocks- I came in to do a return for in store credit- for items that were just purchased on 4/15. I’ve done returns in the past but she tells me that I only have 3 days to make returns- never heard this before. She was very rude- would not work with me at all- people work! 3 days is ridiculous- I asked if I could just donate the items back- she said yes- but I needed to drive around the back of the store to do so- so I did and I was sure to let them know they’ve just lost a customer. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars at this store. NEVER AGAIN.
Linda Cortez: I never find anything im not paying almost top dollar for. The corporation is robbing people. Only 10% goes to help the needy. Top $ for given items ridiculous. Rip off.
R K: Are these prices serious? So many Dollar Tree items there over priced! I seen a candle holder from Dollar Tree for $4.50, one of those small kid activitie packs with mini-markers and a mini book for $2.99. Small Danity necklaces for $15.99, that you can find d at Wal-mart or Amazon for $8. You might as well go to Burlington, Wal-mart, Target, etc. There are no special finds here anymore. SO disappointing.

elana: There’s this old lady that works here that is so rude and disrespectful that whatever experience I have is always ruined. Every time my mother and I do the 5 for 5 sale on a Friday, she always claims one of the tags are switched on a piece of a clothing. It’s not our fault your fellow employees don’t know how to put or replace a tag on correctly. I mean isn’t that illegal to claim something like that?? Of course it’s a white old woman, maybe she’s just racist. She probably liked the clothes I took forever picking out and finding since whenever I see her not working she’s looking around for clothes with her coworkers.

E S: Since these rude employees refuse to wear their name badges, preventing customers from filing complaints against them, I will put them on blast here for future customers to see the scumbags they will be subjected to dealing with at this location. Unless these employees are criminals or convicts who were recently released from prison and are struggling to integrate back into society, there is no justifiable reason to employ such disrespectful employees who lack basic customer service skills. The claim of being short-staffed is equally inexcusable. The male cashier told me to control my crying child. Really? If you don’t like to hear a baby cry, consider playing music over the speaker to drown out his cries. The female cashier was so condescending towards the bilingual customers in front of me. And the prices at this location are absurdly high.

Amber Widener: I saw an ad on fb about a bed. Apparently they were closed but I told him we are moving and trying to get a bed for my husband and I. He allowed us to come and get one anyway and even helped us take it apart and load it up. Really friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anybody. Definitely gonna go back for anything we need.

Nicholas Kulak: I bought a sectional couch, a small breakfast nook table, an office chair and a nifty retro looking rocking chair here. Haley was the best salesperson ever.. She was heartfelt and attentive while considering what I needed every step of the way. When I came to pick up my furniture she had it wrapped and she even helped us load it in the van herself. If I find myself needing more furniture I would definitely come to Cort and talk to Haley again, and if anyone else needs furniture I would recommend they do the same.

Teresa McLennan: Please be leary of what you are purchasing at this resale store. I purchased a chandelier from Everything Home Upscale Resale that was broken, missing an entire length of crystals, lied to about the chandelier and original retail cost. The owner Jennifer did nothing to resolve the issue. While I was at the store other buyers were there with complaints about their purchases as well. Jennifer has left me with having to decide to cut my loses or seek litigation against her and the resale shop.
Heather Stapula: Staff are very friendly and eager to help find what you're looking for even if not on the floor or at a warehouse.Even though they have some 80s modern style viewable at the front window, don't let that detour you! Most of the store is a mix of timeless and unique furniture.

C. Catherine: You took my Frederic Remington statue July 8 and finalized its sale to a man on the 12th or 13th. You said in writing that I would be paid on the 11th. When removing my statue from my car you took out my cooler. Later you said it would be in Novi for me to pickup. I’m surprised and saddened that what started as a cordial relationship ended with anger and disappointment because you refused to pay me. Only after I messaged you that I needed payment and threatened you with a negative review did you initiate payment through your online bank bill pay. Out of anger on a Monday you postponed this to a Thursday. I got the check on July 27. Not as promised by Linda in writing or by Jennifer several times after that. Of course you will not let me have my cooler. Totally misread you as an ethical business. Everyone: do not ever consign your valuables here!

Aaron Grauert: The tackiest furniture I have ever seen! There was a very nice big gross looking stain on the carpet right when you walk in. Not sure who in their right mind would buy furniture from here. To each their own I guess. The lady was rather nice, resulting in the 2 star rating.

Rosemary Shamoon: Went to their location in Rochester and I had the worst experience. All the bed sets I bought were broken after 1 month. The bed set she delivered to my house did not look like the one in the magazine and she refused to return it even though it wasn’t a finished piece of furniture and there were broken pieces. I would give them 0 starts if I could. WORST PLACE EVER. Save your money and go elsewhere. Rip off. They are now on hall road. stay away!!!

Lubna Kareem: Bought a couch set in February didn’t move in til after Easter basically middle of April and here I am more than a month later trying to have them replace a damaged couch that I received. Is there a reason why the couch would came in with scratched that were patched with off white paint on it ? For a couch thats that much I didn’t expect it to be shipped in a poor condition and another scratch that I saw later insurance didn’t even wanted to fix. That’s a side of the cable that didn’t work and I had to get a generic cable that’s so short doesn’t even reach the wall plug. Couple weeks after use the motor broke and we are waiting on replacement. Mind you when the service guy finally came decided to drill more screws in the couch to fix it that didn’t help ended up ripping the inside lining of the couch. You guys need to inspect your product before shipping it to the customer who is paying for it and let your delivery people be aware that if the product arrive in such a bad shape to take it back regardless of how “heavy” to them seems and “hate to take it back”Very very bad customer service very very disappointed and I wish that I can have you guys take that back but what I know is that I would definitely never ever shop there again but like one of your customer service person say one customer will not put you out of business

Co Beadia: I used to really like this one. But they took out their dressing rooms and have a sign out front that they do not have any public restrooms and if you you bring something to the counter that does not have a price tag on it (which most items doesn't have a price) they will NOT sell it. And there where two ladies at the counter one just sitting there talking and the other actually working.
Arianna Pattullo: The clothes are a bit overpriced for sure, but still cheaper than salvation army or goodwill! The staff was super friendly and it's a good organization to support. I benefited from this organization as a child in need, so I will gladly drive out of my way to deliver donations here to pay it forward. Bonus: Found an authentic, autographed painting here today from a popular Chinese artist in the 40s. A treasure for sure! Paid $10 for it!

Why not start with reasonable prices, instead of having to mark them down? You are a thrift store, and the community depends on your prices to be reasonable. Please reconsider your practice of pricing high, even with 50percent off some items were still overpriced.
