Ayushi Kumar: This place has been on my "to go" list for almost 2 years now. So glad I finally got a chance to stop in. It is HUGE. Came in for a study date with a friend and we had absolutory no trouble finding a suitable space for the both of us. The owner is WONDERFUL. He was incredibly patient, kind, welcoming, and so warm. Coffee hit the spot and the food was delicious. One more note: the temperature is perfect inside. Not freezing cold like other coffee places, not overly warm either.There is also a small stage located in the main area of the shop. Coupled with the open layout of the venue, this place is perfect for casual hang outs, studying, small intimate gatherings, or just sitting in some very comfortable armchairs and looking at some of the beautiful murals on the wall.

Jordan Burciaga: Coffee here, regardless of the type, is exceptional. To my surprise, the spices that they put in some of these brews go very well together. Something new and extremely different that ive never had before that turned out delicious.Decor of the Café is unique in its own as well. A pot of Turkish was also quite good. I ended up ordering 5 different drinks in one sitting here ahah.However, this quality (for the coffee at least) only seems to be achieved when Noran is working on Sundays.

Leigh Benigni: The Chocolate Gallery Cafe has long been a local favorite amongst my family. I had not dined there since before the pandemic. Yesterday I went with a dear friend and it was even better than I remembered. It was really lovely to see Peggy again. She is the heart of TCGC. She welcomes each visitor with a smile and exudes kindness and generosity of spirit. My friend and I each had a delicious cheesy omelette with a generous portion of scrumptious broasted potatoes. We then split an order of the fluffy lemon ricotta pancakes- heavenly! I took home enough for a second meal! We found out that TCGC has a new owner, Jason, and the previous owners are happily retired. I am so thankful that this gem is alive and well and continues to delight. Thank you Jason and Peggy!

Jessica Summerfield: The barista was super rude to me and both my friends while ordering my drink. I approached her and said “hi!!” Followed immediately with my questions pertaining to a drink and she cut me off mid sentence saying “first off hi how are you?” Like she was offended I didn’t follow up my “hi” with a “how are you” vs just going into my question (I also work in customer service and was super nice in my own opinion upon asking her my question and I was just soooo turned off that she cut me off with extreme attitude and made me feel as though I was being rude when I literally try really hard to be super nice to every worker in customer service) we all ordered our drinks and I tried to collect my points (I spent 46$ and couldn’t collect any points for it!?!?) when she informed me I could not collect point or use points at her location. I then asked for a receipt in hopes of possibly being able to add my points myself later on and she also refused me said receipt. I’ll stick to the 12 mile and gratiot location. They always super polite there. I literally walked out of the store with my head down wondering what I did that was taken as rude to this workers perception and tbh it really messed up my day. Both my friends said she was super rude also before I even brought it up. Super disappointing and will go out of my way to stay away from this Starbucks for sure.

I feel bad that she was working by herself but she did the best that she good. She was fast & accurate. I hope that her boss sees this & gives her a raise.
