If you’re looking for a family atmosphere with serious teachers who care, this is the place.They are accommodating, care about the kids skill and character development.We moved 45 minutes away and still make the drive.

Mary Krause: Our kids have been training here for a couple of years and we love Sensei, his family and his sempai's (helpers). Sensei provides a respectful, teachable atmosphere. He seems to know when to be tough, humorous or a little more gentle with each child. It is a great dojo for the kids to learn the karate skills and also have fun!
Carina: The instructor is amazing with the kids and the prices are more then resonable compared to other places.
Matthew Rudnicki: I love it here. Been a member of the Genbu Kai family for over 7 years now. I'm a full time graduate student and work nights but I always find time and motivation to go train. Its a great dojo with quality instruction, which is hard to find. Everyone is like one big family. I know many of the other schools in the area and have met many of their students at local tournaments. I can tell you that Genbu Kai members are always noticed and approached for their quality and ability.
Robyn Toth: I am so happy we chose your dojo for Autumn and Sebastian. Amazingly, it was a random choice how we ended up with you, based solely on the flexibility of the days we can bring the kids, but it has turned out to be so much more than I ever expected. I absolutely love how much my kids have learned in just under a year, and how you handle the kids during the class is the perfect balance between fun and work. You handlemy son perfectly, which can be difficult to do, let me tell you. And he really likes karate, which I think is all because of you and your personality. Your humor you add to the classes is always cracking me up, and keeping the silliness needed to keep the kids interested is amazing. Sometimes listening to you talk to the kids is the most enjoyable part of the class! You just do a fantastic job with all the kids, and I cannot express enough how much I appreciate it. I can see how much the dojo is like a family, and your family's presence is wonderful to see as well. It really shows what kind of person you are, which is so in line with our family values, and it's just a perfect fit. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for what you do, who you are, and know that you are a blessing to the our family, and I'm glad God led us to your dojo. We couldn't be happier:)
