Ann Arbor City Club Apartments: what do users think?
Chelsea Delcamp: Nathaniel is the most wonderful human ever! 10/10 work with him when leasing here!
Nicole Wiggins: Nicole,in the office, is always incredibly helpful! The amenities are amazing and there are events throughout the year to make the building seem like a community.
Sirenna Burks: I have loved living at Ann Arbor City Club! The residents are friendly, the staff are helpful, and the apartments are really nice! This is a great place to live if you’re looking to be close to downtown.
Ypsi AD: I had a blast living here so worth $2000 a month for tha studio
Jennifer Bailey: My husband and I were one of the very first tenants, and have lived at AACA for going on 9 years! We love living here! Recently our dishwasher went on the blink. The staff couldn’t have been more responsive. Nicole scheduled a time that was convenient for us (we both work from home) for the repair. Erik was fantastic in troubleshooting the problem. Ultimately we needed a new dishwasher and Chonte was great about getting the purchase approved. Nicole once again stepped in to schedule the installation and Erik was top-notch in getting the old dishwasher out and the new one professionally installed. We feel very appreciative of the great service from everyone at AACA, and for being able to call our apartment home.
Maxwell Murphy: Nicole and Kale in the office are world class. They were always friendly and accommodating, and they proved they really care about the residents. They made us feel comfortable here for over two years. Any maintenance issues were fixed promptly, every time. Lots of friendly people in the building. Really a nice place to live.
Alfred Wonesh: I boil down the issues I originally faced due to challenges from the global pandemic.Every issue I've had has been promptly taken care of by Kale and his tram -- He has even gone as far as escalating to corporate to resolve things. All in all, this is definitely one of the nicer, and more convenient places to stay in A2.
Mike Wang: I was very happy to stay at Ann Arbor City Club apartments. Nicole, Kale, and all the other staff were pleasures to work with. Maintenance was always speedy and thorough, and the quality of the appliances was very good in my unit. I really appreciated the staff's support through the crisis, as they responsibly closed the gym and restricted numbers of people using the Sky Lounge. There were no games with rent, utilities, or my security deposit either.
Liz Moore: I absolutely love living here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to live downtown Ann Arbor. It is a slightly higher price point, but for good reason. The combination of location, view, amenities, style, parking, & living space are the best you can find. It’s a quiet & friendly community, mostly 24-38 yr old professionals. For questions or maintenance requests, I’ve always received a quick response (within ~24) hours. Nicole is the best!
Sean: I didn't live here, but I had an excellent experience with Nichole at the front desk. Nichole was so king and helpful that I had to go out of my way to write a quick review. I mean her Saturday was insanely busy, but we had a half hour to meet and she went above and beyond, showing me around the units, the location even though she had back to back appointments scheduled. I was just really impressed & thankful for her to extend as much help as she could. Thanks Nichole!
Rehana Nathoo: Really really terrible experience. This review is only in reference to the applicaiton and waitlist process - we didn't become tenants of the building. Started the process in February for an intended August move-in. Flew in to see the building from out of state, went on a tour and was strongarmed into a $350 waitlist fee. It's shocking to me that this fee is not illegal. The fee is a nonrefundable amount that entitles you to get on an availability waitlist. If the management offers you your top three floorplans in a month timeframe of your intended move-in date and you choose not to move in, they keep the fee. We sent them monthly emails with no response or updates on the process. Between March and July we never got an email back with an inventory update, or any other correspondance. Once in a while we'd get an inventory offer that had nothing to do with our top 3 preferences. As our August move-date approached, we had no choice but to look for a new apartment. Before we signed a lease in another town we sent two emails updating them of our situation, reminding them we were keen to move-in and checking if they expected any inventory. No answer. Two weeks from our move date we got a head's up that our second choice floorplan was available for a move in 14 days later. When we suggested that was an inappropriate timeframe, and we had been ignored the months prior, we got a standard "that's our policy." We asked to speak to someone else from management - a name and number were provided, but the number was the same number to the main office and after 3 voicemails we never got a call back. We're not even sure this person exists. WIth such blatent thievery and disrespect during the application process, I can't imagine what being a tenant would be like. Never saw that $350 again.
Lin Zhao: We have been disappointed in our experience here. After joining through our friend (another residents) referral, we moved in. Unfortunately, he never received the referral bonus and despite repeated back and forth, they still did not honor it. Net, there’s better value around and their referral system is false advertising
Jessica Walsh: Difficult to get in touch with managers - emails go unanswered and the phone often goes to voicemailUpdate 3/29/2018: There was a management change since the original post, and the new management is much more responsive. In particular, maintenance is really great - we had a shower issue fixed within an hour on a holiday weekend.
Thelma Mz. Mocha Darlin Peterson: The view is beyond incredibly beautiful. Every room has its own kind of style and feeling in it. Beyond everything else I really like it

Hoover + Greene: what do users think?
Ben Craig: Absolutely loved living at HG - everything from the amenities to the helpfulness of the staff was fantastic. Rebecca and Lydia were always incredibly helpful and kind - I felt comfortable bringing up any 1-off questions or requests to them as they truly try to accommodate the needs of the students / professionals in the building. Loved HG while in school at Michigan, will be sad that i know my next place won't be as good as this building and these people are!
Emilio Fernandes: From the moment I moved in, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional, always willing to help me with any questions or concerns I had. Amazing amenities and excellent location close to campus.
Karr H: H&G has great amenities, is in a great location (walking distance to central campus and right across the street from the big house), and has a great staff. These set it apart from any other apartment building in the area.
Kathi Lawrence: You could not ask for anyone better than Lydia and Rebecca. They were there from our initial "million renting questions" to our "move in day crazies" to our "questions about where to find things in Ann Arbor". They were generous with their time and went the extra mile to help make our move as smooth as possible. Hoover + Greene could not have anyone better to manage and represent their apartment complex. The complex itself is amazing. The units have ample storage and security is everywhere. The amenities are wonderful and the location is convenient to so much. We rented our unit after seeing it online. Once we actually saw the complex in person, we knew we had made the perfect choice! So happy to be living there and having people like Lydia and Rebecca in charge of it.
Carol Hess: We moved to Hoover & Greene as a temporary place until we figure out where we will retire. Now, we are thinking this is the place! With all the wonderful amenities, it’s like living in a hotel. Lydia, Rebecca and Todd always have a smile and kind word for you and are quick to resolve any issue. We love the neighborhood feel of the place. Very welcoming, even my 2 dachshunds love it! Highly recommend!
Ahmad Nsour: Rachel from the leasing office was very friendly and helpful. She worked very hard to find the unit that would fit my requirements. The building & amenities are nice and new.
clsmoothest: Rachel and Kim are wonderful ambassadors for Hoover and Greene Apartments. They showed us many units to select from and made the contract process smooth so that we could focus on starting our new life in Ann Arbor. Our unit has floor to ceiling windows views of the beautiful MI campus and convenient underground parking. Even after we moved in, they say hi to us everyday at the lobby and are in tuned to our every needs. Rachel and Kim made us feel special.
Sarah Morgan: Kim is absolutely great! Since my first interaction with Kim in September, she has been extremely helpful and accommodating. Everything here is great: the amenities, the location, and overall vibe. The move-in process was seamless and my puppy and I have very much enjoyed living at Hoover and Greene!
Colin Raaberg: The staff here is absolutely amazing! Maddie, Kim, Rachel, have been extremely responsive at trying to address all the issues and concerns that I've experienced as a tenant in a new construction building that is still being worked on and a less than friendly payment portal.
Stephen Schiavone: Kim and the HG team were super flexible and transparent from our explore phase to our move-in process. I always look forward to walking through the lobby to chat with them or ask any questions or for any support. This building is brand new, very clean, and has everything you need. The location is perfect. Overall, this experience has been great and would recommend 10/10.
mcclish15: From the initial tour through move-in, the staff has been incredibly hospitable and welcoming, always prioritizing resident safety and well-being. The building itself, along with its amenities, are top-quality. Desirable location within walking distance to campus, downtown Ann Arbor, and the athletics complex.

The Haven Of Ann Arbor: what do users think?
Smita Bhattacharya: Living here for 3 years— and man has this place gone downhill (while the rent has gone up). It is not maintained and the property management turnover speaks for itself— nobody is committed to this community except for the people that live here and try to make the best of it.While the amenities may draw you in they aren’t maintained or even functional most of the year; do yourself a favor and pick another apartment complex. Had a lot of potential, what a bummer.
Hadi El Hajj: Great apartment complex.Maintenance team (TJ and Jeff) is very professional and efficient.
shirley Gray: Great
Ty Kooser: Lived here for 2.5 years. The rent was reasonable based on comparable prices around Ann Arbor.Location was great, quiet but easy access to highways and downtown. The nearby trails are a plus. The gym/pool area was nice and well maintained.Maintenance was quick to respond to every issue we had and always resolved the issue. Management was generally responsive but didn’t always follow through (never refunded false laundry charges on my card).Apartment itself was nice, never had a problem with noise, smells, bugs, etc.Problems: The trash valet was inconsistent so it’s a scam to be required to pay for it, they never maintain the walking trails in the winter (they did a good job on the sidewalks to your front door, but not the walking path around the ponds), they don’t empty the trash cans or dumpsters frequently enough, and there are minimal lights/sidewalks around the perimeter of the property.
David Kryszsk: Jeff was very professional, arrived on time diagnosed the problem. Installed my new microwave with great care …
Delaney Stersic: I love living at the Haven! When I first came for my visit, I was greeted by Haneen and she was so awesome! She made the move in smooth and has been there whenever I needed anything throughout the year and a half I’ve lived here. All of the employees are so nice and helpful. Highly recommend!!
Fan Zhang: Kris was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed visiting and touring the place!
Yash Patel: Excellent service
Julian Waldburger: 4.5/5!I lived at The Haven for just over three years, and it was quite bittersweet to move out! This complex was only the second one that I toured when first arriving in Ann Arbor, and I signed the lease right after the tour. Considering the high cost of living in Ann Arbor in general, what this place offers is a great deal, especially the newly renovated units and the units with a loft! The loft unit is by far the best style of apartment that I've ever lived in, because it actually feels like a home. The pool in summer with the BBQ grills is a great amenity and always a fun time, even if just to come out and relax in the sun. Overall, the grounds of the complex are well maintained and look beautiful in the summer and also in the winter covered in snow! The monthly resident events are a great thing to have fun and meet your neighbors, and the staff is always very friendly and engaging. Maintenance requests are always fulfilled effectively and within a couple days time.My only slight complaints (deducting half a star for this) are that many bugs easily get into the apartment and it's very hard to get rid of them. Also some of the bathroom fixtures, such as the shower faucet knobs, are not of good quality and start to fall apart and get loose after a few months. I've had my shower faucet knobs replaced multiple times over my three years here. The bathtub's surface lining also starts chipping and peeling easily.Overall though, I've had a great experience living here and calling The Haven my home for 3 years! It definitely lives up to its name! Unfortunately I moved out of state and I will really miss this place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good and affordable place to live in Ann Arbor!P.S. One super cool amenity that I really wish I would have used more is the locker room sauna!
Shane Gabriel: Moved out of state about a year ago. I still miss this apartment.
Jonathan Cunha: I was asked to review service after putting in a maintenance request. Our two toilets were running after being flushed. This was both annoying and costly for our water bill. I asked them to repair the toilet and the first time I asked they attempted to fix the flushing device by just connecting the rusty chain back to the lever (which I had already tried). The second time I placed a work order request, they replaced the device in the back of the toilet and they no longer run after being flushed. Definitely satisfied with the repair, just annoyed it took two requests. The other problem was a water stain on the ceiling, didn't want to wait for this to become a bigger problem. They came and fixed our thermostat and heater (didn't even know it was broken!!), but definitely happy our house isn't cold in the middle of January. Generally speaking, the maintenance crew is responsive, respectful, and they do a good job.
Jill Sklar: Thank you for fixing the sauna, Alexis.
Don Lee: Fast response time, and Toilet works great now!
Carla Redfield: Giving the rating of three stars since the issue with the refrigerator making knocking/tapping sounds was not repaired but not without the lack of trying on behalf of maintenance. The knocking sound still exist so it seems that it will be something I’ll have to get used to hearing.
Cindy Gould: It was fixed in a jiffy! Maintenance person was friendly and helpful
Jennifer Bey: great experience, wish they had three bedrooms
P.Daniel Arman: Excellent and clean job.
Darlene Malewit: Maintenance always responds promptly to request. Such a relief to know if somethings not working properly, they will be right to fix it. Thank you.
Cody Bachman (bachmancody): Moved out of state about a year ago. I still miss this apartment. The complex really felt like a community and they had some great floor plans. Check them out if you're looking for a place in the area.
Suzanne Kiser: Everything was fixed quickly and professionally!
Nancy Gaer: We love everything about the Haven of Ann Arbor. Kudos to maintenance , very professional

Arbor Club Apartments: what do users think?
sujana ranjit: The reason to not choose the unit here is there are no crosswalks and sidewalks from the main road. Otherwise, a nice area and the units are adorable.
tina hebert: The property staff and management company genuinely care for the residents and work to make sure their residents have the best experience possible and feel like a part of a community! This is a great place to call home!
DL W: Arbor Club is a great place to live. It is conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. I liked that it is tucked away around beautiful neighborhoods as well. The apartment was spacious and very clean. Maintenance was great and timely. The manager, Leah, and her staff are awesome! They make Arbor Club feel like a family. It was a perfect spot for me as a U of M student. Leah is completely accessible and cares greatly about all of the residents. She was helpful and supportive when I had some roommate issues. She handled everything with professionalism and kindness.
Mike Sin: Management is good.
James Velis: I have lived here about a year. Everyone is so nice and Jessica has been the most helpful. The people who work here are always nice to talk to. I have very little issues, but when I do Mario is very fast to fix any problems and I never have to worry. A nice place to call home
James Hooper: I’ll start with saying I have LOVED living here. I came across Arbor Club during a visit to Ann Arbor to find a place before relocating from Texas for work. The property itself is well maintained (updates being made very year it seems). I was able to move into a newly renovated unit that had both Gas stove and in unit washer and dryer! The maintenance team and management have been nothing but exemplary! Maintenance are prompt and timely with any service requests I have had. Same can be said about the office team as well! Both interact with a positive, friendly manner and made me feel right at home.Interactions have been great with neighbors as well, was nice some even made a little home garden by the maintenance shed. I look forwards to attempting to green thumb some here this spring and summer!I highly recommend living here if you have the opportunity
Patricia Acheampong: Love it
Nada Tadros: Only been here for 2.5 months but it's been good so far. The ladies who manage the property have been helpful and genteel 🙂
Victor Ola: Clean, fairly new houses
Jack Fifer: Nice place insides are a little dated
Robert Canter: Hard to find parking
T “Tickler007” Rex: These people have no idea, what the hell their doing. Right now, I live in an uninhabitable apartment. The following information, was all before I arrived. There is a history of flooding from neighboring apartments. I fought for almost 3 years, to get rid of bed bugs. I am still fighting bugs, centipedes to spiders. This apartment is said to be totally gutted. New refrigerator, blocks the idea of opening the utility room door. You have to put the refrigerator on an angle to open said door. I have know use of going to the pool up front. But am told it has not really been utilized, by the kids. Arbor Club Apartments, are part of, The Park on Sagebrush Drive. That means two pools, two clubhouses, two different properties and two different maintenance team's and staff. The Park complex is supposedly open on the weekends, leaving Arbor Club residents to go to the back of the property, for maintenance issues. Point is if it is not an emergency maintenance issue. You must wait till the next business day to have it possibly worked on. Biggest problem is two totally different apartment complexes are totally and completely separate and different from each other. To be a future resident, I suggest to go elsewhere, that does have an identity and personality created by the residents
Chelsea Orange: Terrible grounds maintenance. Discriminatory housing practices. Unsafe sidewalks in the winter, impassable if you are handicapped. Keeps raising rent to keep low income families out, but have done no improvements on the apartments. They claim they accept Section 8, but their rent is going so high that no one with a voucher would be able to afford it here.Last thing, and the most important: the trash collection is atrocious, to the point that is a toxic safety hazard. Trash piles up outside of the trash compactor during the summer and can be smelled all throughout the complex. I can’t imagine living directly next to it and the health problems it may cause.
Judy Anne: Relatively new cupboards, stove & fridge
Aliénor V.: This is a great apartment and property. The property managers Veronica and Shalini are professional, they care about the residents and most of all, are friendly ! Communication with them is so easy. And wait until you see Mario, he takes care of the maintenance, he as so much skills and he's such a great person, he works so much that sometimes I suspect him to have a twin brother. When I had issues, it was solved in the day or the next.I don't understand the bad reviews, or maybe people are not indulgent at all, but in that case you take a house, as far as I know, a property manager is not a cop. I live here for a year and a half now and everything is fine.I renewed my lease just because I know that I can trust this team !
Cheryl Stubbs: Kinda high
Matthew Fleeman: I was amazed by the look of the clubhouse! The carpet and entry tile gave it a clean, and modern feel. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Definitely a place I can call home.
Renita Burger: I have lived at this apartment complex for 8 years now, and what a complete turnaround from when it was Woodchase. Things have changed for the better in every aspect. It is beautifully landscaped and the grounds are kept clean. I have gotten numerous, long awaited upgrades to my apartment and feel like I am finally getting what I pay for. Mario, the maintenance man is awesome and very hard working. The best change has got to be the management. Veronica treats you like you are family, and that is unheard of in an apartment complex.
Samantha McGeorge: Thas crazy a little bit more and more but ok to Lev in but might want to think about it and go in and look and ask questions
T Johnson: So I had high hopes for the new management. When they took over they “seemed” nice enough. Trina isn’t the nicest individual. Her attitude and tone of voice is not appealing. When she’s not lounging on the office furniture, she’s turning a blind eye to the bad apples of the neighborhood. You know, the ones you call to report and get told “it’s not property related so call the police”. Well a few of those bad apples threw a rock and broke Trina’s car window. 🤔 I wonder if thats property related... Arbor Club now has a pool monitor. I think that’s great! She’s a long time resident. What’s not great is she doesn’t care all that much for certain ethnicities. So her “monitoring” verges on harassment. If you do not want maintenance entering your apartment without you, you can make an appointment. They are available once a week so I hope it’s not an emergency. There is only one maintenance person. He’s amazing!!!! But he’s just one person. Lastly, the overflowing, smelly, messy trash compactor is still frequently broken so feel free to enjoy the sight of others trash blowing in the wind.
