Wicked JAZOR: I had my BMW k1300s here recently after sitting at another shop for over a year. Within a week I got a phone call telling me what they believed the issue to be, we ordered new ignition coils. They also changed my fluids since the bike had sat for a year, replaced spark plugs, mounted new tire and rebuilt the clutch for me. The bike has almost 50,000 miles on her and she needed a major rehaul. I have been riding every day for the last 2 weeks since I picked her up and haven't had any issues, she runs like a dream again! Very thankful to this shop for getting me back on the road. Aron did great work on the bike. Malisa was very detailed with her communication and on top of it! You can't get this personal attention at the dealer, I highly recommend bringing your bike here....no matter what you ride.
Minimus Max: They've had my motorcycle for over 6 years and were VERY slow with working on it. They had to rebuild my carbs TWICE while in their care, due to how long they've taken with it, which they eventually cracked them when they put my bike outside for an extended period of time, or when they put the carbs on someone's elses bike. They said I had to pay for a new set when THEY broke them. I've given them thousands for other various repairs repairs on the bike such as a complete engine overhaul. I've called them dozens of times and they refuse to answer or call me back. They essentially stole my motorcycle. Will be filing a police report and reporting it stolen

Mike Stutzman: My 20-year-old motorcycle I purchased was Cherry but sat for too long and let rubber dry out and gas varnish the carburetor. Melissa took it in and cared for it like a mother would for a baby and now my bike has all new rubber from the street up to the seat and runs like it just rolled off the assembly line. Great place, professional friendly lady, they've got some beautiful bikes for sale too. Another fine establishment that makes Ypsilanti Depot town a great place. Thanks again Melissa and guys. Kaylla Cantilina: The customer service here is exceptional. I came in with pretty bad engine knocking on my bike and Malisa and the guys helped me figure out the best course for either fixing my bike or buying a new one. After deciding to do an engine swap, Malisa went above and beyond to spend time doing research without charging me to help me select a used engine in good condition which the guys tested as soon as it was delivered. She also answered emails quickly and called me with updates throughout the process to make sure there was never anything happening to the bike that I wasn't aware of. The guys did a great job doing the swap, adjusting the valves, and making sure the new engine and transmission worked smoothly. Before I took it in to cafe racer I called other shops in the area to get quotes to even just look at my bike and they all refused, saying my 2007 bike was too old. I cannot speak to the work they do but can tell you if the way they set up appointments and lack of communication on their services is a reflection of the labor then stay away.
Jon: Another pleasant Ypsilanti surprise I did not expect one of the owners to be the lady on the phone behind the counter and for her to take the time to come around the counter and actually get to know me and what was the problem I was facing with my bike you know most of the time you can't even understand the language that mechanics are speaking and this lady got to the point kept it simple and told me the truth so yeah I love it when someone's upfront and honest and that's why I'm giving them five stars

Michael Schupp: After purchasing a scooter from a private party, it turned out that the engine ran intermittent when hot. Then we found out, that there had been a recall issued for its engine ECU seven years ago to address this issue. We went to Cafe Racer for support as they are the local dealer for this scooter. Malisa Hinderliter cheerfully helped us and went out of her way to solve our problem. She communicated with the manufacturer, established that this scooter had indeed a faulty ECU, and then obtained a new ECU in exchange. She provided this service free of charge for us. I recommend this company very strongly for its exemplary service. Thank you Malisa!
dennis bragg: When I dropped the bike off, I was told two weeks. It took over two months. I paid to have the carburetors removed and rebuilt. When the bike was dropped off it ran excellent, it just had a gas leak in a cross over tube. When I was finally able to pick the bike up; IT BARELY RAN. I was given a whole laundry list of why the bike wasn't running properly. It ran great when I brought it into the shop! I had to call another shop the same day that I picked it up from Cafe Racer. The other shop fixed the problems that Cafe Racer was supposed to fix, for cheaper, and only had the bike for two weeks. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!Service:Carburetor cleaning

I don’t normally write Google reviews but this establishment is simply too much for me not to.Ingrained in their culture is a callous disregard for customer satisfaction and service. Over the years we’ve purchased and serviced a Sea Doo jet boat here, I’ve ordered and had motorcycle tires installed (took weeks) and most recently I attempted to buy a new motorcycle and was informed there is a “no test ride” policy. Really?Go elsewhere. Stay away from C&C in Brighton and Free Ride in Ann Arbor—they seem to be cut from the same cloth.

dianne hewett: My first experience with C&C Sports was a phone conversation with Steve, the salesman. He worked me through the details of purchasing the Spyder, requiring a $500 deposit, all over the phone. Sat. March 12, 2016, we met in Brighton at the shop to pick up the Spyder. We paid CASH, all in $100 bills, $19,000, listened to Dave Peterson's rah-rah. We completed all paperwork and left on the pretense everything, except the permanent plate, was completed. The temp plate was a fifteen day plate, after fifteen days, we called Dave Peterson, to inquire about the whereabouts of our permanent plate. He never returned any calls. Steve called, said the problem would be taken care of that day. Late in the day, Dave sent a text, still never returned any calls, stating that the plate would be in the mail, snail mail, USPS, on Mon. morning. I inquired about an "overnight" shipping. He ignored the question. To date, March 31, twenty days after the sale, we still have no plate, no returned texts, no calls returned. I'd error on the side of caution when dealing with this company.

Joe Fiorentino: Got a quote from Dan for a lift on my 2022 4Runner and after going over it, asked him to verify with the tech that the time quoted to do the job was accurate. That was over two weeks ago, never heard back. Seemed like I always had to follow up with these guys. Maybe they thought the job was too small or they don't care for 4runners, who knows, but not a pleasant experience.
John: I was a bit skeptical at first, but have nothing but good things to say about MPA! I checked around all the other offroad places in SE Michigan when deciding to get a lift put on my Jeep and was having a hard time even getting responses back from other shops... MPA was excellent with their customer service and responses, everyone I spoke to and worked with was incredibly friendly and you can tell they all are passionate and knowledgable about offroad vehicles. A complete breath of fresh air compared to other shops. Their pricing being one of the best compared to other quotes, they also don't gouge you on labor rates by bringing your own parts for installs. They were able to fit me in their schedule very quickly which I appreciated. One thing to note, the shop opens at 8am but the front office typically doesn't open till 9am. So make sure to call ahead and check if you're able to drop your vehicle off early if you're getting work done.
Matthew Clemens: I brought my 2021 Ranger in for new rims, tires and a leveling kit, and all I can say is WOW! Not only for the the way it completely transformed the look of my truck, but the service I received could only described as top notch! Let me start with Kevin, he was extremely professional and detail oriented. I came in unsure on what kind of look I wanted on my truck, but Kevin took one look at it and he just knew exactly what it needed. And OH BOY was he right, it’s everything I wanted and more! If I could give Kevin alone 10⭐️‘s I would!! Now on to the tech that directly did the work Colin, Colin was a A-1 tech from the get go! He did a great job very quick and efficiently, after speaking to him I felt my truck could be no better hands! I will definitely be back for running boards and a tonneau cover! blake geimer: Awesome honest guys with a lot of experience👍🏻 Install a 3” level and upper control arms on my truck, once together the coils were rubbing on the upper arms. After a nightmare at another shop and getting charged, and parts were still rubbing, I called these guys and they got me in same day. I payed for a diagnosis and said I went a little too high on the level, but they could try there best if I approved alignment. I trusted them and said give it a shot, the tech put in the extra work to make my setup work and clear. After everything was done, he told me he got it to clear, but it was close, other shop told me there was nothing they could do. They even gave me the alignment for cheaper, even through 3” is technically lift height. Awesome shop, will be sure to return if I need anything in the future!
aaron HART: The people at MPA MOTORSPORTS & OFFROAD are some of the most professional group of guys I have ever dealt with.The work is done in a hight quality shop with some of the most experienced mechanics.If you need anything done they can do it.They went out of there way and built all new light mounts for my truck and they are simply awesome.MPA in my opinion is the only place to go for your OFFROAD needs. I will definitely be going back to them for all my future needs when it comes to my truck.

Cal Younkin: Austin and Kevin were both great to work with. I brought my 04 wrangler in with a crumpled front lower control arm bracket. While removing the old control arm they discovered that the bolt was so bent in the bushing that the control arm needed to be replaced too. They only charged me for the part, no labor, to replace it. They also ended up throwing in a free alignment. Even with those added complications the job was done on time. hubert Martin: Always liked American Wings & Rob, but that has changed. Couple of years back had them replace tires on my 2013 Goldwing, in the process the mechanic broke the TPMS sensor on the bike rear wheel. I was upset but thought they would do the right thing and replace it after ordering a replacement. Fast forward to today. I called thinking they would do me right and change my tire on my new Africa twin for free instead of charging me, nope. Rob said cost is $40 off bike to change it. The sensor they broke on the wing Cost about $200. If you have TPMS on your bike don’t take it American Wings for tire change unless you want to pay to fix any damage they do in changing it.I won’t be back, sorry Rob………

If u ask him to fix something he does EXACTLY what u ask and if it needs more he'll tell u but doesn't force it. If u need him to pick ur bike up he will. As far as time sometimes he is dealing with over 10 bikes at a time try taking ur bike to ROSENAU and then tell me Rob is slow. Rosenau will have ur bike for months and charge u two to three times as much.
