Aventura: what do users think?
Autumn Sellers: A bit pricy, but the hamburgers were great. Service was a little slow.Recommended dishes Slider …More
Christina Salowich: Food was fine, not worth the high price. We were seated upstairs which seemed like the least pleasurable dining experience out of all spots in the restaurant. Patio looked cool, but wouldn’t go again.
June Billie: Only stopped for a glass of Sangria but it was certainly one of the best I've had!! Lovely atmosphere!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Tobias Ulmer: We have been here the second time, last time October 2022. We ordered the Paella Americana again which was excellent the last time, big portion and enough meat for 52$. Unfortunately this time the portion was very small, same price and only a few tiny pieces of meat. I think we will not come again. Sad because there is potential…
Emily Garnett: Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas, Gambas Al Ajillo, Seafood PaellaMore
Andrii Medvediev: If you come here based on TripAdvisor reviews, know that it's not as great as portrayed. I would rate this place 4 out of 5. We ordered a pitcher of sangria, and I was surprised to find so little cocktail and so much ice in such an "expensive" restaurant. Food here is good, but not what I expected. I won't trust TripAdvisor anymore. It's an okay place, but nothing more than that.
Danielle Greve: Great food and service!
Shivani Saxena: It was my cousin sister's and my (shared) birthday. Priya, my cousin had booked this place. Coming from India, we were a bit apprehensive about the new dishes. However, the food was amazing. We had vegetarian Paella, which is a large, smoked rice dish with vegetables. The rice has to be scraped from a piping hot pan. This is the main course, preceded by tapas. So, we had Patatas Bravas (potatoes in an amazing sauce), bread with tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, goat cheese with pineapple, and a cheese platter with jams and olives. The Spanish cuisine is quite like Indian food. It is intricate, with a lively burst of spices and flavours. The service was friendly and swift.Highly recommended.
Alina Roncea: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Sara Petry: My favorite of them all...like a pineapple crustini...pictured next to another triangular tomato/garlic crustini."Almendras Y PinaMarcona almonds, goat cheese, caramelized pineapple, thyme, olive oil"
Adam Stevenson: Even in a post-COVID pricing world, it was way too expensive for what it was. $70 for some rice and shrimp in a paella that I would prefer from a chain like Bahama Breeze. I'm fine paying premium for good food, this wasn't quite it.The fried potatoes were great though.
jimi adams: Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Aingeal Jones: Very cute Tapas restaurant with excellent service. We ordered 5 plates, as they recommended 4-6 for two people, but found the portion sizes to be very generous and brought leftovers home with. The sangria was great and I really loved the heirloom tomato salad - so refreshing!Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rosey Stuurmans: Incredible on all levels! I loved the sangria, the smoked tuna tapa and the churros! Incredible experience and very nice staff! I came back a second time for happy hour at the bar (3-6 weekdays).
Fred Hernandez: It was okay! The menu was way overpriced, and the service was chaotic. Did they raise prices for graduation like the hotels? Regardless, the food was not in the category that it was priced at (about $80 per person).Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Churros, Charcuterie, Patatas Bravas …More
Carter Starr (Carter Starr): 3.5 stars if I could. I’ve been here twice- first time was very enjoyable. Service was attentive and fast, and food was excellent- some of the best I’ve had in Ann Arbor. This was pre-covid. The last time I went, it seems to have gone downhill. Paella was burnt which was disappointing, and our server was not attentive at all- she seemed to be very attentive to the older couple sitting next to us, but would ignore us when we were right next to her (possibly because we were students and students don’t typically tip well lol). Not saying I wouldn’t return, but this second time left a bad taste in my mouth.
Noosh W: I was in Aventura again and fall in love with this place all over again. 5/1/23Nice staff, beautiful environment and great food. Love it.I keep going to Aventura and always love it more. 12/8/2022Make sure to reserve the table. Popular place .Recommended dishes Flatbreads, Slider, Lamb Meatballs, Sangria Falsa, Patatas Bravas …More
claire craig: Amazing Tapas, Sangria, service and ambiance. A must go to restaurant when in Ann Arbor.Dietary restrictions: Server was very knowledgeable about menu and helped my Mom with dietary restrictions.
Daniel Zheng: A perfect date night spot.Aventura proudly states that their paellas are authentic to the techniques and flavors of Valencia, the region from which paella originates. I don't know enough to say either way, but what I can say was that our paella was both delicious and sizable in quantity. The real highlight of the evening, though, was one of our tapas selections: the Almendras & Pina, consisting of caramelized pineapple and goat cheese on a baguette. Remarkable.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian paella option available
Christopher Price: Great food and good service. The red sangria is delicious. It’s great local tapas. I don’t think it can compare with proper Spanish tapas in Spain but it works in a pinch. I wouldn’t go back if I’m in the area because the value isn’t there for me but I’d recommend to anyone at least once. You won’t go wrong if you eat here but do be prepared to spend some money.
Deanna Saleh: Love the back patio seating! The paella is A++!!Dietary restrictions accommodated Vegan, Gluten free …More

The Cellar by Grizzly Peak: what do users think?
brandan mckay: Glad this bar is reopened as the cellar wine bar. Our bar tender was absolutely awesome and so were our drinks. Nice quiet atmosphere and all the grizzly peak beers are served here as well.
Max Douthit: Great interior design; good prices; build your own charcuterie (huge game changer); rotating menu
Jon Carlson: Wow- nice work all! So comfortable and low key. Not pretentious and love me some charcuterie- you all nailed it
Pat Snyder: Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Logan Schooley: COREY!! Thank you! Hopefully I spelt your name correctly! Thank you for your wonderful service man! I appreciate you!The food was dank! Atmosphere was top notch! Beer was AWESOME! I would recommend this place to any and all! Some of my family is in town for the show tonight at the Blind Pig! We got lunch here! Glad we did too because everywhere else was packed! They were so happy to have us.I got a pizza with my mom and it was so good. It was the garlic + onion and the cheese on it was WILD. My brother in law got the Walleye, sister got the Butter Milk Chicken, and her friend got the Tree Town Cob! 10 out of 10! Would recommend.Thank you for the wonderful food and service!!
Jeff Wideman (GUNROAR62): Really love coming here. Great craft brews for a lot less than you'd think. Staff is very attentive and willing to help when people are looking to step out of their comfort zone booze wise.
Kirk Foster: Lovely, rustic beer cellar in a genuinely old basement. Often serving fresh Kellerbier straight from the tank.
Brian J: Ok, out of the gate I have to say this place has the best cheese curds I've ever put in my dirty mouth. They're so good I'll probably file a lawsuit demanding the recipe Monday morning.Overall I was pleasantly surprised as most breweries just serve food to be serving food but this place did not disappoint. The ribs were very good and the short rib mac and cheese was excellent!Oh yeah, and the beer, great stuff also :-) I had the steelhead red.
Bruce Geffen: Great drinks and food!
Squidd Inc: Great food. Great beer. Hidden in a basement off Ashley. Hard to find but worth it.
Chris Sanjurjo: Fun time for karaoke with friends. Typical college crowd so the place does get busy during Tuesday’s-Saturday’s. The only downfall is that you have to make sure you are getting half off drinks during happy hour. I have been charged full price for happy hour drinks in the past.
Terris Ahrens: Excellent night spot for a cocktail or a mug.
Don Nutter: Nice bar. Reasonably quiet when we arrived at 9:00 on Friday night. Got busier and louder by 10. Excellent beer and drinks. We had a couple items from the menu to share. The schnitzel sliders on pretzel buns we very tasty. The potato skins were good, but not great...not so much flavor. Overall a good place to sit, have a drink and just hang for a while.
Tony Nelson: Disgusting roach filled basement
Mikki Sharp: Decent hangout with good beers!
Anthony Franchina: One of the few bars in Ann Arbor not crawling with entitled college students.
Annamaria Herrera: Basement bar
Shubhankar Mohan: Enjoyed their Chicken Schnitzel Sliders. Great ambiance.
Morgan Alexander: Loved the vibe, beer was good. Food looked great! Will definitely be back
Brandon Spencer: I always love the beer here. Proper beer steins, up to liter pours. Plenty of excellent German and otherwise European styles to choose from, and similarly themed food of very agreeable quality. The service is always great too.
Linda Valentine: Stopped on visitb

Dean Lingley: Delicious, and great atmosphere!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
jimi adams: The industrial look makes for a room that's really loud and hard to have a conversation. The food (even on a group fixed menu) was quite good, and the service was excellent.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Leisha Jeffs: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Braised Short Rib, Chocolate Lava CakeMore
Peri Stone-Palmquist: Been here for brunch twice in the past few months and wow! Inventive, fun dishes. Outstanding service. Great coffee and cocktails. I will be back!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Alan Maynie: Celebrated our daughter's graduation here (Go Blue) in the celler room (I think that's what it was called). We really enjoyed the brunch cocktails, the food was plentiful and excellent, and the service was top notch! There were many dishes on the table, but I really liked the pork belly benedict. Needless to say, I would go again and I definitely recommend them for a group event.
Courtney V: lol don’t get the “bottomless” drinks at brunch. they’ll charge you full price and make sure they don’t come around enough to serve you enough drinks. food is good but not worth getting screwed on the check.
Jake Schraga: Greeted by the father of the owner. He is a sommelier and taught us so much about how to drink wine properly. So much fun and fantastic food. Great experience overall
Kristen Raber: The sommelier, John, was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to listen to. Great wine selection.
Robert Smukler: Pretty whack service. Appetizers were great but mains were pretty poor across the board. Took forever to get food. Super nice staff but doesn’t make up for wait and food quality
Katie Grandinetti: Our dining experience with Vinology was so awesome. Our waitress was very experienced and guided us through the menu wonderfully. The chef came out to give us our food and presented it to us- with all the flavors and seasonings. We felt very taken care of and the food was delicious. Would definitely come back again!
Ashwin Vivekanandan: Great brunch and “bottomless” mimosas. French toast was amazing.
Maia Hausler: The wine is excellent, but pours are small. The food is not as good as expected and the portions were very small (and we are used to European portions.) Overall an expensive and disappointing experience. I would only come back for the wine.
Robert Haas: On Wednesday April 19, 2023, in partnership with the Canadian consulate, Vinology featured a wine/food event: "Oyster Bliss: Stro;;, Shuck, & Sip". Combining the characteristics of a walk-around wine tasting with food served buffet style, the event highlighted 7 Atlantic Canadian oysters on the half shell, along with numerous dishes mostly featuring oysters. Along with the exquisite dishes, appropriate wines and beers (many from Canada), and the overall enticing theme, the always attentive and professional staff at Vinology made this event an overwhelming success. The staff and management at Vinology are to be commended for the promotion, organization, implementation & execution that was classy, efficient, educational, delicious, and fun! Bravo!!
David Phillips (Erlynos): Say MYY BN SHETT HE'LL goodbye!Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Bridget Stafford: Dinner with friends - left a little disappointed. Restaurant was not busy but server was pretty absent, and frankly, a bit arrogant. I thought the wine was overpriced and the food was only OK. Way better choices out there for me...Food: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Catherine Fillmore: Swanky little joint. Great food, cocktails and wine. Dark and atmosphericFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Alex Hall: One of my favorite brunch spots in Ann Arbor. Also one of the few restaurants that will take reservations for brunch. Very nice if you have a group of six or more which can make walk up a challenge. The fried chicken Benedict is delicious along with the chicken and waffles sandwich. Dinner here is also delicious with a great wine selection.Parking: No dedicated parking. You have to park on the street or a nearby garage.
Diane Bondie: Attended a function in the bubble room. Salmon was excellent! Also had the chocolate lava cake, which was good too.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chocolate Lava Cake …More
Jake Moore: If you are spending time in Ann Arbor you would be remiss to visit Vinology. A wonderful atmosphere, amazing menu and incredibly attentive staff make you feel special and cared for. You will not regret coming here!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Red Wine Flight, Charcuterie, Charcuterie & Cheese Board …More
