Devin Day: Do not service your pieces here unless you want them to come back damaged. I brought two quartz watches in for battery replacements, and the person who serviced them scratched both case backs in multiple places. I brought them back in to address the scratches, and they brushed the machine finish on one to a point that it is now very dull and scratched-looking. Moreover, there are now smaller though more apparent scratches on the sides of the watch case, and my leather band was additionally damaged--no doubt when someone was trying to rub out the original scratches. Very dissatisfied.You're better off sending your watches back to the manufacturers or buying the tools to do them yourself.

Charlie Moon: This is the best jewelry store I have ever been to! I was at Briarwood mall looking for an engagement ring. After going to a couple stores and not having any luck I went into the Diamond Factory. When I walked in I was greeted by Victor. After showing him a few pictures of the style ring I was looking for not only did he have the style ring at the store he also told me that they could modify it any way it needed to be modified. The ring was perfect exactly how it was. I just had one small problem, I knew my future wife's finger was small then a size 7. He put an adjustable clip on the ring so she could wear it until we could come back to have it sized. When we came back to have it sized we were greeted by Victor and his friendly smile. He congratulated us on our engagement and we could both tell he was genuinely happy for us during this exciting time in our life. He told us it would take around a week to get it size, less then three days later he was calling us to let us know it was done. I think what I am most impressed with is that Victor and the rest of the team at the Diamond Factory are not your typical jewelry store that is trying to make a sale. They are trying to help people make a special moment as special as possible. Now that I know of the Diamond Factory I will not even think of going anywhere else.

We gave him a slight idea on what we wanted for a ring, and he immediately showed us several rings that were similar to what we were interested in. He clearly has a knack for identifying the right stones that will look far better than they are worth in the setting you are designing with him.Lastly, I really appreciate how up front he is on the pricing and is very clear. It certainly always felt like I was getting a very good deal, and I can say after visiting many other jewelers, I could not get nearly as nice of a piece from anyone else for the price I paid.Overall, it was just an absolutely pleasant experience and I am so happy with the pieces he has made. He was able to create a replica of my vintage wedding band after another jeweler attempted to replicate it, was unsuccessful, and even told us that it was not possible. Mr. Gulko took a look at the other jewelers work and was able to explain to us what went wrong with their attempt, then he explained what he would be able to do to deliver a higher quality result. He was very knowledgeable and was able to set realistic expectations when recreating a vintage ring. We are beyond impressed with the final result! The replica Mr. Gulko created is almost identical to the original wedding band. We would recommend anyone go to Alex Gulko for custom jewelry based off our experience.

When I first met with Alex, I really had no idea what I wanted; I just had the stones and a few very basic concepts. I made a purchase I desired to be appraised. I left messages and never received a call back! When I decided to call for the sixth time the woman over the phone was completely rude. I mentioned to her I reached out weeks prior and left messages none of which were returned. She did not offer up any apologies nor did she acknowledge the fact that I called and had this experience! Ignoring the fact that I never received a call back she was very rude and unprofessional to further press me as to how I “knew” of their store. I’m going somewhere else for the appraisal, no thanks! You know, kindness goes far whether you believe it or not. So congratulate yourselves for sending someone else business I assume you don’t need.

I would just like to offer up a suggestion of when a customer wants to sauder rings together. We look to the jeweler and professionals for advice; mine came back as a NO WAY it was going on. If I had known, I would have ordered a tiny bit up. I love the ring and will not change jewelers,...I just suggest not mentioning "that doesn't happen" or insist it's the same size...when it's OBVIOUSLY not...or the cost I just apparently saved by them covering cost to size. I love the ring, quality...just a little tacky insinuating I "lucked out" in some way.

Rob Baxtresser: This is how to do a jewelry store.I've had a number of interactions at Schlanderer's. Two recent visits for repairs are indicative of how they operate. First, I brought in a ring that needed an uncommon fix and was a little tricky. They did it beautifully. The guy that worked on the ring came out and talked to me. He had definitely done his research and made the ring wearable.Today I brought in pieces of a watch band that is special to me which I though I would be able to fix. Jake took the pieces and the time to do a meticulous, exquisite job sizing and fixing the band, which is now, with the watch, looking great on my wrist.While there for repair work, I often hear the other interactions with customers.. They really enjoy their work, and enjoy helping customers get the right thing for them. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them. They're honest and know what they're talking about.

Jill Borowski: I came in this evening with every intention of purchasing a necklace, but the three girls working there had zero interest in helping me. There was one other customer in the store when my mom and I walked in and we were not greeted or asked if we needed assistance. Instead they looked up at us and kept chatting with each other. When we had looked through 3/4 of the store on our own, one girl finally asked if we were having a nice evening but still didn’t ask if we needed help or had questions (which I did!). I’ve worked in retail before and greeting people is customer service 101. Management needs to re-evaluate their employee training if this is how customers are treated. I’ll spend my money somewhere else.

They came up some great options, and I walked out with the perfect necklace and earrings. I found another necklace and earrings in the sale corner. It's a beautiful store. There's no pressure to buy. Go look around and have some fun.

I was perusing jewelry there earlier today and as I left the shop, my vintage wedding ring hit the door handle and I noticed right away that one of the tiny diamonds on the band fell out. All the ladies working there started helping me look for it, which was no easy task. After a few minutes we hadn't found it yet so they took down my contact info and kept looking on their own. About half way to my car they shouted my name and sure enough they'd found my tiny diamond! I am so appreciative of their help finding it and I cannot thank them enough.
