Daniel Asher: I am not one to complain often, but when you order your usual Robb's Cobb salads with Caesar Dressing and get balsamic vinaigrette and what can only be described as chicken jerkey (way overcooked or dry), I have to post about it. The chicken was so dry, I have to believe it was day old chicken, there is no way that it could get that dry in one day.

KVH VH: I often order online but I'm not able to substitute so I came in person today. There were only two people in front of me in the line. I waited for over 15 minutes because in addition to helping the people who were there, the poor woman making the salads also had to make the takeout orders. So between each in person order she made two online orders. It seems to me that the people who are actually standing there should be served first. Maybe the person making salads needs to have help with the online orders.

When I arrived, I had to wait in the full line and then was told that one of the pies I ordered was sold out when my order came in. In addition, the online ordering marks up the price of each pie by $3, which is fine if you are getting something for the markup but in this case they did not reserve a pie for me and I had to wait in line to pick up.

Kelly Curtright: Grand Traverse Pie Company lived up to its reputation for quality food! The food was exceptional, flavorful, hot from the kitchen, and delivered to the table by friendly staff. I ordered the chicken pot pie. The crusty was baked crispy to a nice golden brown. There was a good balance of chicken to vegetable to the sauce. Next time I am there, I will sample one of the many dessert offerings.

Florena Brodman: I ordered a Reuben sandwich with blueberry applesauce for the side dish. I have never in my 60 years had such a delicious Reuben sandwich! The marble rye bread was toasted to perfection, the sauerkraut was grilled so it didn't cool down the corned beef, the Swiss cheese was melty, and there was an exact amount of sauce to help add moisture and flavor, but not be runny! The restaurant was quiet, but busy, the staff were friendly and polite, and the restaurant was clean! What a great place to eat!!!

Darlene Tolbert: I gave 4 stars for food because I brought 3 Maurice salads and one only had a handful of lettuce, the lady fixing food made delicious, beautiful salads. Food prparer wasnt very friendly. Salads tasted great just stingy on lettuce on one salad. At $10.99 apiece they should be hardy with toppings and lettuce. My cashier gets a 5 star she was very helpful and friendly. The older lady working acted like she was too busy to wait on me. I also had lobster bisque soup it was good, and a cherry pecan muffin delicious! Didn't dine in but dining area looked very nice, clean and comfortable. I will visit again its not close to where I live but it was worth the ride. Looking forward to trying chicken pie and cherry chicken salad. Everything looked so delicious. Prices a little high but no more then anywhere else.
