Salma Koubaa: We called over the phone to ask about the price of Honeycomb desert to get approval to buy it for a Non profit organization and we were told that it cost $40 each. I ordered 2 and went to pick it up but they charged $106. I asked the guy to refund me the money back because that’s not what we agreed upon and he refused. I explained to him that we’re a nonprofit organization and I can provide him with a tax exemption form and he kept arguing that everyone must pay taxes. He just made me feel so discussed from the horrible customer service he provided. I won’t go there anymore. They lost a customer and I will make sure to spread the word. Go learn what customer service is before starting a business!

Socra Tea Detroit: what do users think?
K R: This has a creepy basement feel, dark and cold with no comforts. It is in the lower section of the plaza, you enter by going down a few stairs, so there are very few windows and natural light.I was greeted when I walked in and shown the tea selection of what I narrowed my choices down to. The service was great and helpful. The herbal tea I ordered was the locally grown Michigan lavender tea. It was extremely bitter and I needed to add a sweetener before I could really drink it.
Mallisyn: This is one of the most welcoming places in the whole city. The tea lattes are killer. Every one of the drinks has its own character and is always made fresh using the best ingredients. Be careful not to drink too much tea. I almost took a nap on the comfy overstaffed couch by the door. It was just so comfortable!
Sym D: Nice tea shop with a nice array hot drink menu. Its on lower level so you need to walk down steps. Its nice & quaint. I stopped by after leaving Mocad on a Sunday afternoon & they had a live bad performing folk music. It was good...harmonica and all. Also I tred pistachio latte with honey. Delicious!Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Matt Tucker: I sold two mugs here in December and still have not been paid. I’ve left messages with two employees and was finally told I have to wait for a few more weeks even though my pottery sold in mid-December.
matthew stephens: Very relaxing environment, fair prices and wide selection. Kind staff and clean establishmentFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Parking space Difficult to find parking Parking options Free street parking, Paid street parking …More
Jon Xuereb: Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Elizabeth M.: Great variety, very cute, not severely overpriced
Ivan Macias: Atmosphere is nice and calming. I tried their mushroom latte, and it does taste like a cold brew coffee. The scone was also good, could have been heated up a tad bit more, but overall it was excellent. If you are a coffee drinker you should try out the mushroom latte. I promise you it doesn’t taste like mushrooms.
Glenn Fischer: Such great tea and atmosphere here. The staff was really helpful with picking out tea. It was property brewed and served in such a cute pot and cup. Delicious. Eco-friendly. Beautiful. Definitely coming back.
Evan Fried: good second date spot
Andrew Todd: Really nice space to study/work. Friendly employees. I ordered the turmeric latte with almond milk and can highly recommend. Clean individual restroom that requires a key.Features: Employees wear masks as of 3/19/22
Cariel Gamlin: One of my favorite small tea places in Metro-Detroit with all of its unique blends you'll get a bang for your buck with every order. Tea is ordered in 18 oz or 20 oz with various latte options as well. With it's extensive tea catalog you'll find flavor profiles you've never encountered! Highly recommend. Someone was looking for stevia and couldn't find it along with no tea snack there when I've come but it's super fun!!!
Samantha: Such a cute, cozy little spot. Perfect for a casual date or working. Employee was super friendly and knowledgeable about all the teas. Loved the ceramic items available for purchase. Only thing was that it was pretty cold inside.Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes …More
Jude Pitt: The mushroom tea is a must try for all of the mycelium fans out there! Lots of other bulk tea as well!Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes …More
Brandon Mickel: I got into loose leaf tea very hard and heavy at the start of the pandemic. While a few of the mail order places are nice, I'd rather support local shops. I tried visiting this place several times but they only had limited hours for curbside delivery. I found myself in the area today, called and was glad to find them open (Friday, Saturday and Sunday as of now). I picked up a 100g of the Maple Taffy, mostly for my wife as I normally only like maple syrup on my pancakes. I just got finished with my first cup and it was AMAZING! I will definitely find myself visiting again!
Lee Eisenhuth: I order loose leaf tea through their web site and i love it.I have little glass mason jars which i fill with the loose leaf tea and keep the jars in a drawer near a zojirushi hot water boiler. I like to use disposable filter bags but you could also use a tea mug. I use a label maker to label the tea jars.
Christopher Plemmons: After hearing about this for at least a year I was finally able to go. I was amazed at the taste that I was able to experience. It absolutely made my day when I got a nice tea there. The variety of tea's that are offered is quite something to behold. Whether it be a fruity evening tea, or a late morning herbal getting you through to the first bit of lunch, you'll find something exceeding your wildest expectations. The proprietor has staffed the location with knowledgeable people who are helpful to anyone's brewing knowledge. Do yourself a favor, and try some of these favorites:Rhubarb RaspberryCrème CaramelSmooth Strawberries and DreamDark Chocolate Rooibos
Paul Bernard: A very pleasant environment with an impressively large selection of product.
Jeremy Gjonaj: Nice tea. Not sure if I would go out if my way to go there again, but the service was awesome and had good tea.
Fred Findlay: Had a lovely afternoon tea. The food was good and so was service would definitely be back for lunch sometime.

Ryan Michael Dinkgrave: One of the best cups of coffee in Detroit. There are other options, but go for the pour-over. What's your big rush, anyways? Look around the shop, take a comfortable seat, and enjoy a little respite from your day. Monica is an expert and you will never be disappointed.
Carla Wellborn: Homey, genuine, and great coffee!
Judy Keylani: This is the greatest coffee in Detroit! I make it a point to stop by every time I’m in town. Monica, the owner, is amazing at her craft and makes incredible coffee. Just A Bit Eclectic: what do users think?
Leslie Vaughn: Both the shop and Ms. Darlens are jewels of northwest Detroit. Wonderful tea, cozy experience, and always something just a bit eclectic to pick up for that hard to shop for friend. Perfect spot for small business Saturday shopping any Saturday of the year! Keep an eye on the hours, they are not open every day. Nice place for a mother/daughter outing or a ladies group meeting. Or a quiet cup of tea by yourself with a book!
Phyllis Anderson: Ms. Darlene exudes such a loving, gentle-caring, and hospitable disposition. She has a genuine love for God and his children of all ages. Darlene is gifted and knowledgeable in so many areas. She makes tea-talk-time so refreshing. Her love and display of nostalgia is amazing.
Rebecca Bucky Willis: This place is like a small secret getaway! The owner is very nice and I love the Chocolate Orange tea! She also sales eclectic new and vintage items, which is a plus.

Jessica Itchon: I used to go to Harmony Garden, all the time while on campus. I'm so sad that they are closing, but happy they will continue on with the venture as Hayah Treats. I went this past Monday and dined in with my family. It was very busy, but we had great food, their Baba Ghanoush really exemplified its name. Their Falafel gets an A+ from me. Everything was made with love. My Mom had a lovely time chatting with Tarik and his son. The vegan date pecan cookies are super tasty and a must for all that visit.
