Angela Mathes: Daniel came in and found the problem within 15 minutes. he told me what was wrong and showed me where the part was. we had to leave the damper door open so that I could have a cool refrigerator, but I did have to order the part online and I am awaiting it's arrival. I do know how to connect it back and put it back into place and then I will just have to put in two screws and be good to go. There was no way he would have done all of that on the first day because that part had to be ordered and it normally runs around $200 to $250. I was lucky I found it on eBay for $85 brand new.

Cory Nickoloff: Horrible customer service. The the call center is in India and you can hardly understand a word they're saying and this is after talking to multiple people. When I asked how much it would cost just to have my washing machine looked at, she got defensive and hung up. I never raised my voice and was very polite. I will never call them again. It asked me at the beginning of the phone call if I would take a survey after the call ended, I said yes. Amazingly it never happened.

Rachel conklin: My new LG dryer broke after a few months. LG sent me to this company. They were so incredibly unprofessional it’s hard to put into words-one woman in particular, but don’t want to name her for legal reasons.I had given LG my number during my initial call, but was calling from a different phone at the time. The company continually called the other number while being told multiple times to call my number by the owner of the phone. I have been in the hospital with son who has a genetic disorder and had extensive surgery. The “customer service” woman literally LAUGHED when the person explained that to them and acted like it was a lie and/or an inconvenience. When my friend asked to talk to the manager she again laughed and said he was not available. She finally sent him to the owners voicemail.When I received the phone number to the company (who never called me directly), I called. The man who answered (not the woman who had been calling the other number) said that my number was already in their system. So there was no reason not to call me.They needed a receipt from my purchase so I sent it to them and received a call that it was unacceptable to LG and they couldn’t come out with just that. Called LG and they said what I sent was perfect for what they needed and already had sent them this company the serial number and product code and there was zero reason for them to refuse to send someone. Luckily LG is amazing and have gotten a real professional to come out and take care of the issue. I would NEVER recommend this company. There is more to the story, but the lack of professionalism is astounding. They need to get rid of who is dealing with customers because she was absolutely horrible and to laugh at my sons condition makes me absolutely sick.
Laura Peters: Saginaw Valley Service Company Rocks - particularly Nathan P! I am a landlord whose tenant had a C02 leak and had a different appliance repair company out twice to fix the problem, to no avail. Consumers Appliance Plan recommended to sent Saginaw Valley out and Nathan P not only diagnosed, but fixed the issue. He noted that the previous repair company installed a used part. Nathan is knowledgeable, patient, professional and super great at his job. He put both landlord and tenant's mind at ease after a very stressful week. Brigid Mulroy: This is the company that was sent to do a warranty repair on my 6 month old washer. What a disaster! They guy they sent didn’t know what he was doing. Left my house with water standing in the washer and told me all I had to do was run a clean cycle. That flooded my whole laundry room. I called the company and they gave me the run round and told me get another warranty order. I did and my company called and sent several and every time I called Saginaw Valley App said they did t receive anything. I tried to speak with a supervisor but apparently they are always in meetings. I decided it was best not to let these people back in my house and had my washer company refer another repair service. Do NOT let this company in your house!
Lori Dove: I needed a sevice call for a GE washer.GE contacted Saginaw Valley for the serrvice call.Received a VM asking for call back , was closed when I tried to call back so I sent an email with my address ( With detailed instruction) and copy of reciept as instructed along with model and serial # of my appliance. I called their office the next morning and the woman who replied said GE gave my city address wrong and they would not correct it, stated they never received my email either and that I had to call back GE to correct it.I called GE they checked and they did have my address correct and stated Saginaw Valley was apparently trying to reject the service call. GE set another service call with another GE repair business.Odly enough I then received a reply from my email that they calimed they never received that the receipt for my appliance was invalid.( exact copy of on line order from Hpme Depot) Another excuse to not do the service call !This is bad customer service and businnes practices. Plus because of them playing games instead of just stating they did't or couldn't do the service call delayed the repair of my washer.So my point is if this business is deceitful about a service call receiving emails , correct address and receipt info, what else would they lie about.. Ashley Thomas: I have had experience with Saginaw Valley on multiple occasions, both in person with a repair technician and over the phone. I highly recommend this company! Nate was my technician and has come twice now to fix an issue with my upright freezer. On both occasions, he called to let me know he was 20 min away. He arrived when he said he would, listened to my issues and ordered the necessary parts to fix the problem. He also took the time to explain what the problem was and how the fix was made. Alli Capper: Incredibly frustrating to interact with, the administration team over there seems overwhelmed or understaffed, or at the very least just sort of disorganized. I would not be working with this company if I was not forced to by a 3rd party. Miscommunications, an inability to find previously submitted documents, a lack of voicemails (they call and don't leave one...) and emailed responses at 4:45pm (they close office at 5) pushed my original appointment out a week for an appliance repair. Super frustrating.UPDATE: the technician came, but he popped the hose off the back of my appliance... led to a room full of steamed water after the repair... please just take the time to be thorough and make sure the appliance is working properly before leaving. If you fix one part but mess up another, it's still a huge pain. We pulled the appliance off the wall, reattached the hose ourselves, and turned on a dehumidifier so we'll survive. But geez what a pain.
Jason Pliska: Worst customer service ever, and in today's word, that is profound. Complete lack of empathy, understanding, and an utter unwillingness to to do the right thing. No willingness to honor an appointment time that was scheduled, and that I have an email confirmation for. There was no effort to accomodate, and I was treated as an inconvenience. I would never attempt to do business with then EVER again. If they were my only choice for appliance repair, I'd learn to live without appliances.

Janet Nelson: I often find it difficult to get service at my home out in the country. Booking was fast and convenient. My only complaint was the 4 hour window instead of an actual time.Fortunately the repair man got here early in the day. He fixed the problem, a broken belt on the dryer, in record time. I have nothing to compare the cost to, but it was $240, and with the $50 coupon I found on the website, I paid $190.I would use the service again and recommend them.
Helena Rosenberger: Beware!! Very disappointed with the outcome of our situation. Repair man came out to fix our oven that wasn't heating up to temperature properly. He diagnosed it as a quick fix with a temperature gage. He came back the next week to install it, unfortunately that was not the issue. He then was on the phone with the manufacturer for a while and they realized that we needed a new switchboard which was going to cost us another $264. We had already paid $255 for the first part to get fixed. So at this point spending $500 made no sense, the oven wasn't worth that much. We might as well just purchase a new oven. So I refused service of the last part and the electrician recommended I contact the company for a refund. It took them several days to contact us back regarding the refund and when they did they would only refund the labor leaving us the portion to pay for the service fee, which i did understand because we called them anyways, but we also had to pay for the parts that are now in the oven that will not be used. It took us two weeks to finally get the refund finalized between phone calls. I had to call twice and my husband had to call twice over this time. Neither one of us actually got to speak with a manager or a parts manager and we were denied the refund for the parts that we won't even use. What a waste of time and money I hope this helps people know they should just go purchase a new oven. Dont waste your time or money! However, the electrican was very polite and kind.

Alecia Nicole: My family could have died today due to the neglegence of this company. I am sick to my stomach thinking about it. They did not cap off a pipe that the oven had been disconnected from and there was gas leaking from it into my home for over 6 hours! My husband and dogs were in the home while it was leaking but had not noticed the smell because they were in another room with the door closed. Please do not hire this company! I had to have DTE come out and shut off the gas to the house because these people do not know what they are doing!!!!!!!!

Home Depot put us in touch with Michigan Appliance Repair to cover an extended warranty on our Samsung microwave.His office called and scheduled our appointment quickly, gave us a "heads-up" call to let us know he was on the way and when he arrived he was very personable and knowledgeable. Steve quickly diagnosed the problem with our microwave by removing the unit to a protected surface, troubleshooting the problem down to the component level, replaced the component, verified the repair worked correctly and re-installed the microwave quickly. As a last step he re-verified the repair with the unit installed and ready to go.We now have Michigan Appliance Repair's contact information and plan to use them as our "go to" service provider if we need them on other appliances. One of the best service experiences we've had!

Kayeann Pingel: Beware that you are buying a used appliance that's briefly tested in front of you. Which means no one can really guarantee how long it will work for. I bought a gas dryer that's has a digital display for settings. This only has a 30 day warranty. I've already had one visit from the company to fix one problem. Just a few days past the warranty expiring, the dryer stopped working. Which is problem number 2.Now The timer jumps from 55 minutes down to 1 and then turns off, over and over preventing the clothes from drying. We have tore it apart and cleaned it well making no difference. Calling for help and they want more money to come look at it. They are nice people and this is a nice idea, but not reliable and we cannot afford to poor more money into a used half working appliance. Obviously there are reasons people sell off their "working" items. It might work for that 30-second test in the store but that doesn't mean anything for getting it home.
