David Stanley: My 86 year old mom sat there with a broken tooth for 90 minutes. She had an appointment. When she questioned the wait, they told her " oh, we're very busy." Then why have appointments? She has rescheduled for the next day and was told "we'll mark you as a special patient so you're not waiting. And that is also nonsense. All patients should be seen promptly or given the option to reschedule long before 90 minutes pass.

But there has been very minor discomfort and my gum tissue looks beautiful around my implant.I work in dentistry and know first hand the difference between quality, high standard dentistry and the bargain dentistry. Dr. Perez is top quality and amazing at what he does. He's truly gifted dental surgeon. I will be recommending all my patients to see him for all their periodontist specialist needs.

Never mind the fact that the office would be closing in 45 mins and he had atleast two other patients also unseen besides myself it leads me to believe my appointment would have been rushed and to pay the kind of money (cash) that these doctors make it made no sense to waste my time here! Unfortunately I now have to make other arrangements with other periodontists to have my teeth fixed as if this process wasn't long enough within itself! Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time like I did!

With that being said, I can assure you it won’t be the same experience here. I’ve been through many offices, dental & regular medical, and this is the first completely pain-free experience I’ve ever had when it comes to procedures. It’s only been a few hours and even though I have most of my feeling back, my pain is super manageable, & I’m already up taking care of all 3 of my kids. I was a little nervous because I’ve never had anything done on my mouth before, and I’ve heard people say it was painful and pretty much everything else under the sun. I’m writing this hours after my surgery and I can say no pain whatsoever. Swollen lip is the only thing I got from this whole procedure. Dr. Lesneski was super informative and super nice. This is HUGE in a environment where quality health care is sliding. In fact, the technician who took my x-rays went to the front desk to ensure my insurance covered the particular x-rays needed! I found the staff professional and friendly. The exams as a new patient were thorough and comfortable. I felt the team had my best interest at heart when I talked to them about my health and caring for my teeth. At the end of the day when it comes to great dental care one must determine if they are in experienced and professional hands and I feel I am at Family Dental Group.

The dentist was in the room with me for about two minutes and all she did was try to sell me a high priced implant or a crown instead of pulling the tooth like I wanted. When I tried to get another appointment again to have it pulled because half of it had now broken off I was told she couldn’t get me in for almost 3 weeks. I ended up finding a new dental office &they got me in the next day & that dentist told me the tooth was too badly broken to even put a crown on and pulled it. I’ll never recommend anyone to go to Family Dental on Miller Rd.

Bethany Hazard: I have been going to family dental for years. Angie, the lady that cleans my teeth does a wonderful job. Recently I had to have two teeth pulled. I was shocked because I go to the dentist as I should. Angie took more x rays and found the two bad teeth. She told me the last x rays did not turn out, (upside down) so my bad teeth were not caught. I was referred to an oral surgeon. When my tooth starting hurting terribly over the weekend, I called on Monday to get something for pain and antibiotics. The lady on the phone said she would call me back. When she never called, I called back again and talked to someone different and they said they called the scripts into a rite aid in the township. I drove to the pharmacy of their choice, and the pharmacist said they never called anything in. I was in terrible pain, and by that time this dentist office was closed. After years of going to this place I am very disappointed in my treatment. Moreover, they change dentists often and no dentists stay there long, which may be part of the problem. The manager did call me back, which I appreciated. However, she is training a new girl and but her in change of calling the pharmacy. I was in horrible pain and felt I was not taken seriously. Moreover, them not catching that I had two bad teeth sooner was disappointing and costed me a lot of $$ since the oral surgeon had to take more x rays. I wonder why they did not send my rays over to the oral surgeon? As a long time patient, I feel they do not want me as a patient, or that my business was valued. I have always paid my bill have have been nice to everyone there. For them to turn on me like this makes me feel like they knew they made a mistake in the x rays. Would not it be better to be upfront and honest, than to loose a patient?
