The guys were honest with me about the states of them, and told me that one of the pairs was beyond saving, but they could resole and fix up the other pair. One sales guy there, very friendly, very hands on, willing to even ship to us if that would've been the case. I highly recommend them to people looking for good shoes or boots. Another thing, very reasonable prices for quality of footwear.

Aaron Topping: Came into the store to do an exchange on some boots I picked out of one of their "boot trucks". I've never been to a Mieras location before so I didn't know what to expect. It's a quiet building with shoes and boots lining the walls. There is also a corner filled with Smartwool socks of all kinds as well as insoles. They have a good selection of women's, men's, and kids footwear.Ethan was the associate who helped me out. He seemed very knowledgeable about the boots I was asking about and helped me find a good quality pair that fit just right.I left happy with two pairs of new socks and a new pair of Teva boots for work! Great place with great products, and a great staff.

Michelle Claybaugh: Bought New Balance shoes that the inserts come out of. I have plantar fasciitis and needed to put my own inserts in. I was told only shoe stores like Mieras could sell shoes where the inserts come out. I have found them since then, for half the price, at JC Penny's, Famous Footwear and Kohls. At the same time I purchased sandals for a pretty penny. I bought them in August right before school started. They hurt my feet. I wore them once. I just tried to return them. They refused to take them back. They were expensive and the gentleman said I could donate them and he would give me half off a pair of shoes, if I wanted to buy a new pair of shoes. I told him I didn't come in to spend money. I came to return shoes that were expensive and hurt my feet. He also said they couldn't take sandals back in the winter. I won't spend that kind of money on shoes again, or buy from Mieras Family Shoes.

La Chynah Boricua: Customer Service has drastically changed. We've been customers for many years now through the Steelcase program and today was so disappointed with how we were treated. Young blonde girl refused to look up work shoes and at one point said they were discontinued and wouldn't even call the other store. I told her they were on the website and she said if she ordered them there would be a delay because of back orders. I could tell she didn't want to help us so I told her we would just have to drive down to the store at 44th st. We went to the store on 44th st and the lady there was so sweet and helpful and guess what they did have the shoes and are not discontinued as stated at the Leonard st store. So disappointed that customer service was not the same as I'm used to..

Heidi Wolf: We walked in and asked about steel toed boots for women. They had 2 styles ( in a store offering maybe 100 boots.) I understand that is not up to the one person working in the store. However, another customer came in behind us and the associate completely ignored us to help him. That guy needed some fitting of insoles and other stuff. We ended up sitting around for about 5 minutes while the associate completely ignored us waiting for him to just get a pair of boots to try on. He then focused completely on the other customer. It was pretty rude.

Promptly left me standing when someone else came in, just said bye thanks for coming, Didn't care to help me choose a completely new line of boot since they didn't have my usual and told me it would be 6-8 months to get anything in my size.

After the older man finished up he came to my husband and asked what he was looking for. We showed him the boots he wanted. He didn’t have the size we requested in a steel toe. My husband tried on a 1/2 size smaller. It fit great but he needed it a tad wider. They of course had none in stock. He claimed the ones my husband tried were wide and the next width was H and that’s very wide. (For the record they were regular width) the man was extremely rude and acted like we were a huge inconvenience even though we were trying to buy $300 boots! I asked him if the Plainfield location had any in stock his response “I don’t know what they have over there” and after he seen the look on my face said “our systems down so I can’t check”. He never offered to call or anything. Even after I said “well I guess I can call myself” he just didn’t even act like he wanted to make a sale. We decided to take our business elsewhere. I hope this lousy salesman works on commission! He would be one broke SOB. If I could give no stars he would have gotten that. NEVER will I come to this location nor will I recommend it to anyone. If you want Red Wings do yourself a favor and go to the Plainfield location so you don’t waste your time!

Nathan Molette: Salesman told me timberlands have a 2 year warranty just to sell me $300 boots. Now they say they don't warranty anything. They lasted 9 months before the bottoms blew out, and a year before the bottoms fell right off. Don't recommend timberlands and highly caution you to stay away from Mieras, or call them out on their BS!
Andrew Ostema: I got some Timberland Pros through my work. (Integrated Exteriors). Might be the best boots I've ever owned. Thank you to everyone involved! Nice place with the best selection I've seen in person!!
Misa Tukiyo: Don't go here unless you want to get ripped off, they told me I could return the boots I purchased if they don't work for me so I went to return them because they hurt my feet and ripped my heels apart and they ended up denying me a refund because I wore them once honestly ridiculous I wouldn't recommend.

Caleb Mulder: Very little selection and the one specific cowboy hat wearing employee that helped me, so confidently assured me to not order and wait for the pair of Ariats I wanted (out of stock shocker) but rather insisted I go with boot barns equivalent or in his words “better than ariat” those boots were the biggest waste of money I have ever spent, I would’ve had more fun losing $250 at the casino.

When we walked in multiple staff members were socializing at the counter and we didn’t receive any needed help while shopping. When we reached the counter to check out, the staff was looking through their personal shopping purchases and did not help us until they had completed their fashion conversation. Me and my friend were very confused c we weso rude to us when we came in there with a good attitude. She talked to us so nasty just because I asked her why she so mad at us for asking her one question, she then say if you don’t like anything in this store go next door to dsw, wow, my mind was blown, then says she will call the police on us when we didn’t even do anything. I told her I will be calling corporate which I did and they will be handling this situation. We are black Americans she was a Caucasian American I don’t want to say that this was a racism issue, but it was given racism to us.
