Shelly or Kelly (I couldn't hear your name clearly enough because you wouldn't speak up) was by far the rudest and most disrespectful employee there and really does orbit leasing serious injustice. I'm currently on my second car with them and it's through my husband's name, right? But I'm paying for it and they know this because we came in together. I noticed my payment didn't come out on the day it should have so I called the following morning to alert them and try and make a payment. The lady told me to wait because it was processing. Shelly/Kelly calls me today (not my husband) and informs me that it came back insufficient funds. I tried to work with her but refused to pay the extra $6 fee or drive from Holland to their office and pay a money order fee when my payment is $250 and I've had $400 in my account since the day it was due. Mind you my first payment isn't actually officially due until the 10th. I asked her to put in another automatic payment for like Monday or whatever and she asked me what day! I said it can be tomorrow to be honest because i know the money is there. Shelly/kelly then said she couldnt do that because she needed guaranteed funds. Why'd you ask me what day to do it for then?Shelly/Kelly didn't like my answer and then informed me she couldn't talk to me because I wasn't on the account and that my husband would have to call her back. And then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back and she said again she couldn't talk to me but only my husband and hung up again!! So why the hell did you call me and not my husband in the first place? 🤔 also, mind you I didn't cuss, call her names or threaten her. There are better places. I know there's better elsewhere. Please, I beg yall to do better for yalls clients.

Mark Osborn: This place is by far very customer oriented. If things are going right in your personal life and need more time to make payments they work with you to make sure you can do what you need to do to still make a living. The key thing is Communication and for 2 years now they have worked with me on many occasions. By far the best leasing company that I've worked with. They employees are top of line very respectful and very professional and they understand what people go through again as long as there is that Communication. Thank you orbit leasing for being so awesome and having value that counts in customer service.

The cars aren’t worth it sold me a car for 10,000 that was falling apart not even worth a thousand had a warranty and refused to fix it when I told them some of the issues. Then they auctioned the car and threw away my stuff without notifying me then sent me papers in the mail saying I failed to appear at court when I never got a call or letter in the mail I knew nothing about it and they have my address and contact info so there’s no reason why I wouldn’t have received it. DO NOT RECOMMEND they are the biggest scam!!!!

Avis Car Rental: what do users think?
N Smith: I asked if the info could be sent through text instead of email like Enterprise & he said yes. I asked bc I don’t always have WiFi to check email & it takes forever to load. I never received it through text just email which I couldn’t open. I had to correct him twice on pick up/drop off and he still entered the info wrong. I wouldn’t have even known it was wrong if I hadn’t called from work on Friday. I called bc he never confirmed 6pm or midnight. This is when I was told it was due back on Thursday at midnight! I wasn’t given any helpful info like a receipt w/my info. I work Monday-Friday and while my vehicle was getting thetransmission replaced I didn’t want to go without or have unreliable transportation for the week. Plus the auto shop couldn’t tell me how long refurbishing my transmission would take so I may need another rental for the following week. He never once asked for my insurance information, or when asking when I’d like to return the vehicle explain the 24hr billing, hourly billing, or anything helpful to a new customer. He hand’s me the keys and nonchalantly tells me where to find the vehicle. My supervisor and I search for the vehicle and immediately notice how dirty the outside of the vehicle is. As we’re getting into the vehicle we noticed immediately the wet dog & cigar smell plus all the dirt, debris, and animal hair covering the inside of the vehicle. Due to my children and I having severe allergies & asthma, I vacuumed as much of it as I could as well as bought air fresheners to hang. We couldn’t drive with the windows down or even cracked because it would loosen up what the vacuum left behind. Although this was bad, the customer service I received was far worse! With Enterprise you don’t have to worry about anything bc they thoroughly fill you in & are extremely informative & helpful. I was told to call cs & tell them what happened especially bc the new employees get flustered. All she did was argue I was wrong. Worst experience of my life!!

Unfortunately, the online reservation system won't let me change it, and when I call customer service, they can't do it either. I'm told that the GRR airport can change it to a one-way rental, but will charge a fee. What's that fee?

Not informed about th complexity of an EV, the dealer in the visiting town told us more about the car than Avis did. Finding a charging station was a challenge, in a strange city. We are EXTREMELY dissatisfied with AVIS. I can't give a 1/2 star. We will NEVER rent from AVIS again, there are other companies out there with better service.

Avis Car Rental: what do users think?
Collins Peter: Reserved a car when I got there this sign was on the door. About 45 minutes later a worker pulls up in a white SUV and went inside and still didn’t open the door. I called corporate they advised I go to the airport. I went and was in and out in less than 7 minutes. Do not go to this location it will be a complete waste of time! Staff has no empathy for customers that they can’t call and give a notice of what is transpired.
Matthew Brownell: I made a reservation and changed the pickup time to a later time that same day. When I showed up to pickup my rental they did not have my car there. The front desk lady was nice but told me there was nothing she could do since they had already rented my RESERVED car to someone else. Only reason my trip can still happen is because the Enterprise located conveniently next to them had a similar car that I could rent that same day. Talking to the workers there it sounds like this is an everyday occurrence at this Avis. If I could give a 0/5 stars I would but sadly I can’t. Don’t go here expecting anything besides frustration and disappointment.

My wife and I dropped our car off 45 minutes late after the worst country-wide snowstorm in 40 years, and were charged triple what we actually owed. The worst part is that we called ahead of time to let them know we would be arriving late because of the unsafe driving conditions and they told us that was no problem. We were able to arrive safely and dropped it off. We called back a few days later to sort it out and the owner of this location was extremely rude and unhelpful. Later, we called the corporate number and they were immediately able to issue the refund. Please rent from ANY other Avis than this location. Owner is rude, unhelpful, and clearly has no control or understanding of her own operations. Avoid working with her at all costs.

I was not notified on pick up that I would need my Spectrum Health ID badge to get a company discount because I already prepaid online with that employee discount code that only Spectrum Health employees have. I then had shown the employee my direct deposits in my bank account through Spectrum Health but that too was not enough. I then tried switching the reservation to my military boyfriend's name and it was going to be priced significantly more, even though his military discount was greater than my Spectrum discount. It was worth the $150.00 cancellation fee to walk across the street and rent from Enterprise.

If you must use this Avis book with a credit card otherwise they make you bring a bank statement for debit that MUST BE PRINTED but they won't tell you this before you get there. The lady here is apparently powerless because she couldn't help me with anything. Need to change your payment method? Cancel and change your reservation? Cancel your reservation? Nope. She can't do it. Go online or call customer service. Might as well have an automated system instead you'll save $ on labor. Also no guarantee you get the same car if you make a new reservation. After being on hold for 10 minutes then getting hung up on by customer service we just canceled. Oh, also NO REFUND IF YOU CANCEL ONLINE unless you call customer service and beg afterward. Just dishonest. Use the airport Avis instead if you must use Avis. This is not the only time I've had a bad experience with them I recommend using ANY OTHER rental car company. They lost my business.

I had to go online while I was in the store and try and make a reservation. Just to find out they had none available and they needed a bank statement!?!? Nope. D' SHAWN VANCE-JAMISON: I came in for a test drive. I called several times prior to confirm price and vehicle. The guy working never answered. I was set up for a 2 hour test drive and told I had to pay $387 on a credit card. Now, a 2 day rental requires $200 deposit, 3 days requires a $300 deposit. A test drive cost $387. After speaking with management, this was said to be not true. I was required to pay $200 deposit to test drive, refundable. And if I kept the vehicle 2 days. I would be charged accordingly. I wasted time, available sleep, and money on this trip. For nothing. The killer thing is the lady said they took debt cards, but I was told a Credit Card.Now, the vehicle may be gone or unavailable. Smh.
