Rabih Hamawi: Clean, spacious lobby, modern design, and large rooms. It was an excellent choice.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ashley Kolbus: I was asked by the front desk checking in if I wanted to try one of the rooms with the gym equipment in it. I took them up on it and loved it! Motivated me to workout and stretch every day. I wish more hotels had this option! I still went to the gym to use the Peloton and dumbells but the room was great. Everything was clean and all team members were extremely friendly and helpful. I would stay here again for sure! Easy walk to many restaurants. Nice new hotel.
Aspen Andriessen: Amazing place to stay at!
Stephanie Ann Scott: Rude caucasian female staff upon check in. Woman said, I'm going to have to see your ID first. We have to check IDs for anyone who is not a Diamond member. I thought we were allowed to do virtual check in? Sorry, I'm not a "diamond" member yet. No room service menus in the room, no working QR code, and getting on my phone after driving 3 hours is the last thing I want to do. Restore the menu that you used to serve at the bar/lounge. Who wants to sit in a noisy sports bar. Rude staff when I called the restaurant next door, told me, "we are really busy, I don't have to to go over the menu with you" (Big E's) Customer service has gone down big time. Miracle at the front desk was amazing in sharing these concerns with management.Restaurant next door sucks, rude staff.Nearby activities: Riverbank Run.

brad maston: By far my favorite to stay at while I'm on business trips in Grand Rapids, MI. Everything about this place is top notch, the beds are super comfortable, the made to order complimentary breakfast is great as well. I highly recommend asking for a room on the river front side, the view is amazing at night. This is a luxury Hotel at a great Value Price Point.
Kelli Sutton: I am very particular about hotels and maybe sometimes hard to please lol. This hotel was so perfect, clean, friendly, high tech, even used cottenelle toilet paper. It was a very pleasant stay!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic, High-tech …More

Drury Inn & Suites Grand Rapids: what do users think?
Mark Broadwell: Love this hotel. This was our first stay with Drury and loved it! Great staff, great room, beautiful pool and hot tub and the free breakfast, dinner and drinks can't be beat. Lily: I love these hotels I stay in them when I travel. Love the rooms service and meals and drinksFood & drinks: They have a happy hour with 3 drinks per guest and popcorn hours.
Justin McCommon: My wife and I have been going to Drury Inn for years and always like the included dinner, drinks, and breakfast. I've never been disappointed going to a Drury Inn.Rooms: Rooms are always clean and well kept. If there is an issue, they will make it right.Food & drinks: The food and drinks being included is a big plus.
Lynette Nelson: Pros of staying here:-Staff are great and helpful (including maintenance/room cleaning staff)-Even though it's right by the highway it still feels quiet, (pond out back and area to walk your dog around the building is nice)-Food and drinks for breakfast and dinner are a lifesaver on vacation when the family is looking to eat something that isn't "fast food"-Cholula at breakfast, popcorn in the evening, coffee 24/7 (the coffee is good in flavor and always hot)-Location is great being able to hop on the highway easily with multiple restaurants nearby and shops nearby-They were super nice to our dogCons:-Next to the highway can be a little loud (convenience cancels that out for us in this case)-Outside seating is nonexistent- No fans in the bathrooms so your family will smell everything-Convenience pantry is pricey (these items come in clutch despite the price.)Overall we are loving staying here and will continue to book this hotel at this location when we come home for a visit.

cris smith: First time at a Drury hotel but it will not be my last. We stay at a lot of different hotels, most of the ones we've stayed in before were sold out this weekend-- happy accident!! Great room, great service, great amenities... not one complaint!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Cynthia Ha: From Jordan at the front desk when we arrived to manager Jamie helping out at the Kickback in the evening, every person here was an example of how hospitality personnel should behave. During our four day stay here for a vacation, EVERYTHING was as good as you hope for a hotel stay. The entire facility was spotlessly clean. The food served morning and evening was tasty and at the right temperatures. They even served local craft beer for no charge at the evening Kickback! Everything in the room worked as expected. We'll return when we travel this way again. We always choose Drury, and this one was the best we've found.
Ed W. Visser: We noticed that all the staff were happy, friendly and helpful.Food was great, even the drinks were a nice touch.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More

Mike Affholder: Hotel itself was nice. Was stopped from going in the hot tub 5 til 10. I asked if we could sit in there for a few minutes and get out by 10. But the person seemed annoyed about it. I've never been to a hotel that shut the pool down that early if at all. Also there is a hotel that seems to be ran down behind this one, had a bunch of sus activity I imagine drugs. That had us feeling a little uneasy having to park so close to it. There was a bunch of glass in the parking lot too. The kick backs and breakfast left a lot to be desired the food may be a lesser quality than even some prisons if I had to guess. I overheard another guest saying this is prison food. Lol Overall it was a decent stay just some minor inconveniences.Rooms: Clean
Anita Hassenger: they need a pancake machine. vary simple to use. batter comes in bags. all u do is add water

Nicholas Kochneff: DO NOT KEEP YOUR STUFF IN ROOM! I stayed there a couple weeks ago and they stole my xbox called the manager said she claimed nobody would ever do that and there is a camera looking right at my room she said she would look at them and call me back its been 3 weeks now this hotel is very unprofessional and steals please be careful

Nitin Bhatt: If yours expectations are not too high for a budget hotel, it’s ok to stay here. Nice indoor pool.
jack CLEARWATER: Very bad and there is no any housekeeping .I have stayed 5 days and I didn't get any housekeeping within 5 days.My rate is 0 of 10
Kievaughn Brandon: Didn't clean our rooms for 5 days we needed a plumber the front desk lady the heavy set Hispanic woman is so rude she doesn't need to be on customer service no one that was there with me had a great experience!!! Steve Somers: Stephanie and staff are really going to extra mile. The check in was very cordial and they worked hard to find me the room I wanted without pre-booking. The breakfast is better than average and the housekeeping makes eye contact and greets you. Thank you Steph and staff. Keep up the good work
Farron Lee-El: Pictures are false. These rooms are beat up and stinky. Fraying carpet and the hallways smell like stale cigarettes Stains on bedding, curtains and lamp shades. We checked in, stayed about 45 minutes until we could secure a new hotel and they would not refund our stay. Customer service is awful and their was never a manager on site to answer questions. Save yourself the headache!Rooms: Fraying carpet, banged up walls. Everything smells like old cigarettes and their were stains on multiple surfaces. Do not stay here. Seriously.Safety: This is more of a cheap motel. Their are families that clearly are living here a band the walls are paper thin. We could hear our neighbor cussing her family out. loudly. Hallways smell like mold and old cigarettes and their were stains on multiple surfaces. Customer service was horrible about refunding or money after we checked in and stayed a total of 45 minutes. Save yourself the headache. This place is disguising!
Sammay Mae: Awful place save your money. False advertising, rude staff, nothing in your room works. Go elsewhere.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Brent Elkins: Nice desk peopleFood & drinks: Lots of restaurantsRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Jami Worden: This is the most disgusting place ever not just one room but 3 rooms we were put into till I had enough of it, and to top it off one of the rooms look like it had blood all over the curtains. It was bad enough it scared my kids. One of the rooms on the bed. Had metal thing sticking out the side of it far enough for you. Walk up next to it you are catch your leg on it and then when I tell the front desk lady that I feel like I might need to call the cops because it looks like there’s blood all over the curtains. She begs me not to. I would think twice before ever staying at this place. I have stayed at this place before and it’s never look like this. They have gone downhill very fast. I just feel that is pretty sad that they have to beg me not to call the cops it looks like they cannot clean a room in the front. Dess lady admitted to us that people don’t work there very long. I know it’s not OK for them to rent out rooms that look like this. I will be contacting my lawyer for something to be done about this hotel.
Sylvia Andres: Waited 20 days for a pos hold on my card today would be the day I would of received my refund because they had charged me not once but twice and then they denied me my room. The "lady" upfront made it difficult for the corporate representative to speak to and she was the only person available at the desk. She would be on the phone with her "friends" and had foul language talking badly about her boss and how she was very frustrated. She wouldn't let me go into my room yet charged me twice on February 7th she spoke to me very rudely READ THE REVIEWS. IT also smelled like weed and they had the fire alarms battery off. I gave them a chance to refund me but they still have not. Will be filing my 3rd complaint. Wouldn't trust going here and would recommend going somewhere else.
Gee Thug: You guys clearly hire anyone who just have 2 foreign old people who barely speaks English plus I was charge a extra 100 dollars from no where this is iffy worst experienceService: 1/5 …More
Danielle Kaplani (Detroit): They kicked me out because of my service animal. DEMANDED THAT I SHOW THEM PAPERWORK THAT WOULD HAVE VIOLATED MY HIPPA PRIVACY. STAFF SHOULD GAIN MORE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE LAWS ON SERVICE ANIMALS.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Kevin AKA KP: It was right in between…room 216: not the best, but definitely 100% not the worse, its average for this type of property
Crystal Piper: -100/10! Absolutely disgusting! Don’t waste your money and stay here. My mother in law and myself were in town due to my fiancé having to have open heart surgery, so we were very much needing a stress free place to lay our heads/get refreshed when we weren’t in the hospital. Funds were short otherwise we would have never even stayed for one minute. Let’s start with our room was disgusting, had a TV with no sound, food behind the night stand with trash. Fake nails from previous guest (who knows when) underneath our bed skirt. Crumbs all throughout the room. The staff was unprofessional in every way possible. Barley saw a housekeeper and when you did, they acted like they didn’t understand you. Night “manager” was always sleeping and had no idea where to get regular coffee packets for our room. Breakfast was undercooked so I didn’t dare eat anything other than a bagel. When it was time for us to check out, they were trying to say we owed but we paid online so no, we did not. Losing my patience, as I had to get to the hospital, I asked what’s the managers name and the receptionist told me “She can NOT give me a name for the manager”. Absolutely horrible excuses that they always came up with and obviously needs some education that they are in fact, required to give a managers first name when asked. ALSO, they are false advertising a hot tub. It was cemented over and looks like it’s been that way. Ten years of working in the hotel industry and I’ve never seen anything like this. None of what they say or do is professional in any way.Save your money, and go down the road! This place needs to be shut down! Corporate was ALSO called.
Rebekah Ames: The employees are amazing. One stay we only had one towel, but they corrected it, they must have a shortage of regular coffee pouches, only had decafe but had regular brewed in the lobby. Breakfast was a hot meal with options, but times are different (M-F 6:30am to 9:30am) (S/S 6am to 10am) Overall its a nice place!Rooms: Spacious- showers no tubs

Global Trust Solutions: Health hazard- roaches in the open on every surface- toilet, tub, counters, floors have filth caked on & every corner. Who knows what's on the chairs and beds. Comforters clearly not laundered. Drains all clog immediately. The health department could collect deadly bacteria here and have this place shut-down in 5 minutes. I also got a stomach bug & flu while staying here. The parking lot is beyond dangerous at night. Their rates aren't even competitive to other hotels, don't risk getting car broken into or sick here. Also TV is on shared internet connection and too slow to even play regular TV shows. Owners could easily hire people who clean in between guests and security. Shameful to run a business this way.Walkability: I would never leave the room at night, dangerous place due to crime, drugs, etc at hotel.

Jay Corbett: When I got the room couldn't flush the toilet it was no water cold water is off in the sink so until I figured it out like I had to turn the water on so there was running water the room was dirty there was s*** on the side of the tubRooms: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 2/5 …More

Jose nestor Cortazar marin: Buen servicio y econimico
Jarrod: I lived here for almost 3 months & ended up here due to a previous toxic living situation. $350 a week for a double bed out the door isn't bad at all... anywhere else will charge $400+ and you'll encounter roaches and bugs at those other motels. Forget all these negative reviews, this place is somewhere to call home and comfortable living for the time being. Thank you to the awesome mantieence man Smitty for installing a brand new AC and putting a new fridge THE SAME DAY in my place when I moved in and both quit working. Take the good with the bad in life, the staff here are amazing and kind hearted in my opinion.
Marti Aldeco: I was very disappointed in this place. The curtains did not close all the way the bathrooms were not very clean. The service was not even friendly. It is very run down. I was scared to sleep on the bed I was looking out for bed bugs but what do you expect for paying $100. I did not recommend this place for spending a night.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5 …More

Radisson Hotel Grand Rapids Riverfront: what do users think?
Gayle Weiss: Most of the issues raised in the other bad reviews are still not fixed and to add insult to injury, I just went down to buy 2 'Starbucks' coffees and came back to the room with definitely NOT Starbucks. Thankfully, I had forgotten to bring my wallet and the young man was kind enough to let me go with a promise to return in an hour to pay. First sip in... nope, not paying!! Dishonest photos, no breakfast included and now a blatant, bald faced lie about the coffee...geesh! Don't stay here!
Annika Ehrig Rosario: It’s fine, not as bad as some people are saying but not worth the price

Thomson Scaria: Old, poor maintenance, and not clean.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Willie Jarrett: New hotel, friendly employees, clean foyer, and fast check in!!Rooms: Clean, new, up to date, big, and spacious is only way to describe it!Nearby activities: Close to downtown, parks near, bars, and restaurants!Safety: Security, but great area, and upscale business people frequently stay here!Walkability: Very nice restaurants, bars, concerts, shopping, and parks all in walking distance!Food & drinks: Great, and open menu for all!Noteworthy details: You will not be dissatisfied, or disappointed if you pick to stay here!
Don Keegan: Stayed here as we had before and had a decent experience then, but this time the hot tub was broken, and they really didn’t care. The bar was closed. Water was leaking from the roof into the pool and other areas it wasn’t supposed to. It was just BAD!! Time to bulldoze and start over! They’ve let this place lapse.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5 …More
gabs renee: My room had no hot water and had someone else’s hair in the tub and all over bathroom floor. They refused to refund even tho I was checking out. I’ll never ever stay there againRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Chrystal Holdren: The hallways really smelled. They actually smell of smoke really bad when you’re not supposed to smoke there so either people are still smoking in the rooms or it was so bad it just embedded in the walls and everything for many many years ago! I really didn’t go in the bathroom much because the shower had a lot of hair in it which i finally took down with toilet paper but it grossed me out! The walls were dingy, and the counters look like they hadn’t been cleaned! In the bedrom, the walls were dingy in the tops of the dressers look like they hadn’t been cleaned off! I told the guy downstairs at the desk, but he seemed to kind of just shrug it off and say sorry! Normally I’m one to go further with it at that point, but I’m going through a divorce and there’s been so much arguing lately. This was supposed to be a time for me to get away from that so I just went back upstairs and fell asleep! I also got what I thought was a Riverview room not worth the extra $15/$20 to be honest! Now the location is great it’s easy to find right off the highway so I will say they got that going for them!
brian tenbrink: Great Indian restaurant. Very nice and clean. Staff was helpful.
Emma Loughead: Never even had the chance to book our group reservations. I’ve tried for 2 weeks straight leaving voicemails, emails, and messages with the front desk to get a quote and still no response. I spoke with the manager last week and he said it’s probably because I never filled out the group reservation form and that’s why she never got back to me because she didn’t know what I was looking for. So he sends the link for that and still no response. I will not waste my time trying to book her ever again.
Jack Stahley: Visited a friend here and the rooms are great for value, but the elevator stopped working and had to walk up and down the stairs.

Jennifer Melanio: Stayed here the beginning of the month of May. The hotel staff is great check in was Pleasent. I checked in around 4 pm A front desk receptionist Tonya was very pleasant and welcoming. Gave my kids some gummy bears and water, what a wonderful welcome. The pool was very nice and warm. Went back to Tony to ask for more towels she was very helpful and brought us more, as she was very busy being the only one at the desk. Will be back for another stay in July.
Aaron Garrett: Great location and has a pool and hot tub!
Kris LaPointe: This hotel was on the list given to us at Renucci Hospitality House since it was full. We went in looking for a room for myself and my 3 kids. The person, Tayna, I believe, made it feel like we were asking a lot to even get a room, but eventually was able to get us a room 624. Upon entering, we were greeted with 1 king-size bed and a love seat. Our boys are 6'2 & 6'4. We went back down and were told that was all they had, until another co-worker came by and surprise, she found room 409. which was perfect, 2 queen size beds, and it was clean. Went out for food, and once we came back, our keys no longer worked. We went back to the same person, where she informed us that we weren't even in the system. She was very rude and condescending in her mannerisms, treating us as if it was just too much effort and that we were a bother. I also asked about booking from the 21st- 26th as that's when we can get into Renucci House. She told us NO, and that we weren't allowed to make reservations in advance, so I made reservations at a different hotel instead of staying at Hampton. I then called to check out and ask for an email receipt as we had to go back to the hospital early as our person is in ICU and very gravely ill. Rachel said she did as asked and promptly hung up, but I never received any form of recipt, email or physical. This was the most stressful time in our life, and I didn't anticipate such uncaring people so close to a medical facility. They need just a little compassion or, in general, to just be nice/kind to people. We are rewards members as well. We will never recommend this specific location to anyone
Garrett Nettz: Positive experience, super friendly staff. They were nice about our dog Ruby who is a handful but super sweet and also allowed for a 2pm check out because our 18mo old was napping - seriously 2p was so generous, that's five stars all day for that alone. Everything else was just a bonus. Nice people at the desk and working around the hotel!
Mohamed Shabana: Great service. Loved the Turkey sausage, Yukon potatoes and the egg frittata. If you have to share the room with a coworker/ colleague,One draw back was the barn door for the bathroom and the low water pressure in the showerWill be considering staying again if with family or all by myselfThank you

Kevin Hyde: All night the first night there was a persistent popping from some air duct in the bathroom. We had to drown it out with white noise in order to get to sleep. We had a great time out on the town and ate at some excellent places. Unfortunately on the morning of our checkout, we discovered the minifridge had died and our food (3 meals) was no good. When I told the front desk about both issues they joked that we should probably grab some of the free breakfast to make up for losing our meals. Very funny.
Lisa Chang: Beautiful Decorated, Clean, and Friendly-Welcoming Staff.
macgyvertape: When I arrived to the room the carpet was stained and worn, and there was obvious dirt on the floor and all of the shower soaps were empty. I asked for housekeeping the second day when I checked in, since there needed to be advance notice but no housekeeping was provided. The beds were hard with cheap feeling sheets, and I had a room near the gym where I could hear people dropping the weights late at night and early in the morning when I was trying to sleep.
Dennis Ross: This first started when the hotel charged us double every one else in the wedding block. We were charged $408 for 2 nights and others were charged less than $220 for 2 nights. So I got the complain fixed and they gave me an extra room instead of fixing the price which I agreed to. Everything seemed to be fixed. My fiancé and I arrived to room 604 and our thermostat was ripped out of the wall so that we could not change the temperature, the room was so hot after showers and during the day because the AC unit would not change the temperature, we did not want to make a scene and complain during the wedding weekend so we dealt with it, room 604 had nasty residue on the picture on the wall. I’ve been to better kept motel 8’s in the middle of nowhere. It was very disappointing to have such a dirty and hot room for the wedding weekend. What a welcome to Grand Rapids!
Liv: This hotel is nice and clean - the breakfast was yummy and it is surrounded by restaurants. Service and staff were amazing. However, for the cost (roughly 230 a night despite listing online for half that cost) it wasn't great. The bathrooms in the rooms are very awkward barn door style leaving massive gaps on either side when "closed" providing no privacy. It wasn't cute or functional. Additionally, the pool was FREEZING and an out of order hot tub for the entire weekend.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids: what do users think?
NIKI YOUNG: This is the worst Hilton property I have ever visited. I am a Hilton Diamond member and stay in Hilton hotels 3 weeks out of every month. This hotel is run down and dirty. The upholstered furniture in my room is saturated with filth. Beard trimmings were all over the vanity. The door and thermostat had visible grime. The window shears were absolutely shredded to pieces. The two glasses in the cabinet had not been cleaned. The trash had not been removed from the previous guest. I requested my room be cleaned the next day and was told by the head of housekeeping that it would be cleaned and the furniture would be shampooed. It was never done. I do not expect an older hotel to have the most current designs, but the least you can do is keep what you do have clean!
Eric Davis: One star is generous when it comes to our stay. We travel up here multiple times a year and usually on the other side of town, but this was closer for what we were doing. This hotel is in desperate need of repair and more attentiveness from the staff. Our room was a violation of fire code as the smoke detector was wrapped in a plastic bag, there were dents all over the walls, cobwebs along the ceilings, evidence of water damage, a broken drain in the bathroom, and I doubt the linens were even changed given their quality plus the fact they didn’t even have linens for the sofa bed. When going to the front desk late at night to retrieve (we weren’t able to get settled into the room until much later in the day), it seems the staff member was coming back from a”recreational” smoke break. It also didn’t help that they allowed a group of 50+ kids/chaperones to have a party outside, playing whiffle ball in the parking lot (hitting people’s cars) well after quiet hours and audible from our room. They finished before I was about to go and complain. When it came to breakfast, we were there about an hour after it started, the attendant was more concerned that surfaces were wiped than making sure there was food. The sausage looked like it was from the day before and they were out of potatoes along with half the usual items (especially for a Sunday). The drink machine wasn’t even set out and the majority of other items were in low supply. Aside from my family, you could see the many looks of disappointment from other guests at the “breakfast”. At no time while we were down there did it look like any attempt to restock was made. Our boys were also excited to swim in the pool. I should have checked the reviews first because it has apparently been closed for months, ridiculous. We had booked this room using accumulated points hoping to have a good experience. Never again, we cancelled our September stay at this hotel and will be looking at other options. So disappointing.
Saulius V: I would not recomend. It is old, dated hotel. Needs some renovation and cleaning. The staff was very nice though. Guy gave me his personal phone to make a call, so thanks a lot!Anyway. I woule better look for another place to stay.
Neil Douglas: The rooms were dirty and they needed a lot of maintenance.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Peter Fontaine: It's hard to find. GPS had me going in circles because there is no direct road to the hotel.Look for the Olive Garden, there parking lot is the entrance to the hotelGotta say, the room I was in was pretty beat up.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Daniel Decker: Surprised by the size and feel of the room. Full kitchenette for longer stays. Clean room, lots of space to stretch out.Rooms: Comfy and spacious
Darla Nagel: First room I had was missing a chair, smoke detector, and thermostat. Front desk person, no name badge or uniform, got us a new room. Pool has been closed more than 6 months. Breakfast is OK. Location near 96 and many restaurants and mall is good.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Pat Ligonde: I had a pretty bad experience with this property. The room was a disgrace. One of the handles to the bedroom was missing, the temperature control was off and didn't work, no fire alarm in the bedroom and the bathroom tub had a very slow drain which caused a backup. The staff are ok but a little rough around the edges. I would not stay here again if in the Grand Rapids area.
Alexis Villeda: Very clean and spacious rooms
John Cornwell: The photos are not accurate for this hotel. It is outdated and cramped. You can easily find newer Hilton properties for the same costs within a few miles of this location. VERY disappointed.
Steve Daily: Make it quickLate arrival and early departure...you won't be bothered by the odor and run down..Otherwise go down the road, there's got to be something better
K Arida: Wasn’t the worst hotel experience but it was definitely close. Rooms are outdated and in need of much repair. The handle to the bedroom door just fell off, tiles in the bathroom are loose and cracked. We didn’t even have a blanket. The front desk person did not answer the phone multiple times and took 20 minutes to get up to the desk to ask for one. Half of the lights were burnt out and they started construction on another room at about 8am. The pool/hot tub area was closed which is one of the main reasons we booked. Complete disappointment. Do not waste your time. Also cost in comparison to amenities and service is way off.
Marie Colson: Noteworthy details: They allow pets in any room which is a plus and the rooms were spacious. Down side of this hotel is you can hear everything. The people above you next to you and below as well as everyone who walks by your room. It was noisy and all 4 of us were sleep deprived by the time we got back home.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly, Great value …More
DM “D” WM: Stahl Drive is not well marked but there is a street sign. You won't see the Homewood Suites sign until you get to the property. The lobby/breakfast areas are small. Be aware that there really is no upgrade at this hotel so you shouldn't pay for one. Pool and work out room are both closed per booking notes. It is definately time for an update to this property. There is also no meal in the evening like there used to be M-Th. They really need to bring that back to this property because the value would improve.Rooms: Badly in need of an update. Especially the furniture!
Tia Killingham: Overall very happy. The pool was down during our stay but staff made sure we could access the pool close by. The room was spotless. Super clean, smelled fantastic. Overall why I’m taking the time to review is because the STAFF at this place?? AMAZING. Honestly. 10/10. Super friendly, courteous, accommodating, & helpful people. They made our stay worth while. Will be back soon. ☺️
Stefani Lennard: I chose the Homewood Suites because we’ve always had really nice rooms anytime we’ve stayed there. I felt like I was staying at a Super 8. The rooms are very dated and don’t feel clean. The hallways smelled like weed. The side entrance door was broken and didn’t lock. There was a broken door (all the way off the hinges) on the storage room in our hallway. About 10 minutes after our arrival someone opened our room door (but I had the hinge over it so it could o my open a crack). I called the front desk to let them know someone had a key, and it was the person working g the desk that had come in. She didn’t even KNOCK to see if someone was in there! It was a very strange experience.
Ryan: Filthy and run down. Nothing like the pictures. The bed was a queen not a king like it was supposed to be. Misleading and a scam.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More

CityFlatsHotel: what do users think?
Chris Red Project: We had a fundraiser in the City Flats Ballroom and not only was the venue beautiful, but the staff and servers were all incredible. Kindest team you'll ever meet and efficient at what they do.Thank you so much!Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Rose Hetrick: Read on, I did write a good review⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Only issue we had was the size of the room and the brick wall view out the window(not terrible though, appreciated the thought of the history of it being very old). The building coming off elevator to rooms were a bit compact/claustrophobic. Just it's design. BUT!! The cleanliness was on point and The bed was super comfy fluffy, like sleeping on a cloud ☁️ Nice modern look. Large flat screen tv, nice clean bathroom. Didn't have the typical microwave fridge but served the purpose for us after a concert. Checkout at 11am was appreciated as some are earlier. Location was convenient as GLC venue was just a short walk away. Compared to other hotels in area, this was a good affordable choice. The only issue off site (just the way it is downtown as they can't have their own parking, no room) was the parking garage. We paid $44. Got there just after 6pm day before, left about 10:30am next morning. Would be nice if hotel guests received a discount for that. Something.... But it's like this everywhere down there so..🤷🏼‍♀️ Kinda unavoidable if you want to be in walking distance from local attractions. All that said, we'd visit again⚖️👍🏼
Chris L: Fantastic location for event at Van Andel Arena. Hotel is secure, food and drinks are delicious and the staff are very friendly.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Loyalty Ova Royalty: Rooms: The room was clean and the bed is sooo soft nice size TV with great channelsSafety: They lock the front lobby doors earlyWalkability: Close to the liquor store and restaurantsFood & drinks: Great snacks
Stacy Davis: Elevator didn't work when we got back to hotel, trudged up 4 flights of stairs to find our key couldnt open the stairwell door so I had to call the front desk to be let in. They knew it wouldn't work on that floor but neglected to tell us when they sent us up the stairs. TV didn't work, room was 80 degrees when we walked in and it was the noisest hotel ever. The people upstairs were banging and clanging all night.
Grey K: Unexpectedly ended up in GR for the night and needed somewhere to stay last minute. Super easy to book a room here at a great price. Conveniently located downtown so it was a quick walk to the cinema and museums. Close to a lot of restaurants and Vault of Midnight as well.Staff here were friendly and made it easy to check in. Room was nice with a comfy bed and it was quiet. Only downside was that the thermostat would not adjust so it was pretty cold, but not awful.
Megan Jackson: Good location, average to below average stay. The value of the room isn’t there, especially not as you get into suite prices. Our room looked like it had been cleaned but done quickly and not thoroughly. Some hairs in the bathroom and around the perimeter of the rooms, lint left on every towel, etc.We didn’t know we had a connecting room until we got into our room and let’s just say, noise was an issue. No soundproofing. The concrete floors and lack of carpet doesn’t help that either. The staff weren’t rude but they weren’t friendly either. No questions about how our stay was during check out, not even telling us to have a nice day which seemed odd to us.The next time we stay in downtown Grand Rapids, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere.
Alex Theodore: I stayed at city flats grand rapids this past week, and it was great. The room was spacious and clean, friendly staff and overall great accommodations. I don’t think I’ve ever slept on a more comfortable hotel bed. If I’m ever in the area, I’ll be staying here.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Garth Brown: Rooms seriously lacking in amenities.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
mariah: Stayed here two years ago remember thinking it being super nice. Went again and just didn’t seem the same still very pricey but the floors were bad in the rooms some spot’s falling apart and looked junky. Also the most expensive room had cracks in the drywall around the toilet in the bathroom looking like it would fall of the wall. Was quite disappointed with how much we paid expecting a nicer stay.
Ed Schultz: Very nice place, fridge in the room and breakfast would be nice.Noteworthy details: Note that there is no fridge in the room and no breakfast.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Justin Keffer: Awesome place to stay. Great location, nice rooms, friendly and professional staff, no complaints. Gives you the feeling you are living downtown vs just staying in some chain hotel somewhere. Will be back again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Taylor Beeson: This place is great! I’ve stayed here multiple times and love the layout of the building. I’ve had two different styles of rooms which keeps it fun, and the staff is helpful!
Ryan Jean: Customer service was great! After going to a show at the Van Andel Arena, most restaurants were closed; however, Ray at the front desk (Third shift) was extremely helpful and friendly to suggest a late night restaurant with delivery service and had great recommendations for breakfast the next morning. The attitude with all the staff was friendly and helpfull!! Walking distance to most GR locations were closer than I thought!$$$Cheapest hotel on the most expensive area of town, but worth every dollar in my honest opinion!

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Grand Rapids East, MI: what do users think?
Celeste E: It is right off the highway with easy access to food and lots of attractions. The service is excellent, the pool and arcade are great after a long day out. They serve real breakfast, and there's a large sunned area to sit inside or outside. We will stay here again if we are in the Grand Rapids area!
Godzil La: Picked this hotel based on reviews. Staff and location were great, but accommodations did not live up to expectations. Air conditioning unit was too loud. My room was across from housekeeping so noisy during the day. Shower too narrow, you cannot raise both elbows up at the same time to wash hair. Soap was an odd shape as if the melt old bars togther. Bath towels so small you can't wrap, I am average size and the two ends don't even meet. Inside coffee maker was dirty. Nice pool but workout room very small. 1 guest, 2 queen beds, $166 for one night...not good value for the money.
Shawn Lowe: Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Pool area is nice too.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
B Marquez: Went for Mothers Day weekend. Roomy hotel room. 1 king and 1 queen in room, we shared, myself, son and Grandma. Clean rooms, bathrooms, spacious. Firepit outside, need another one so more people can enjoy. Free cookies, coffee, mints, and breakfast. Breakfast was great. Variety. Staff was great. Air in our room was super strong, tried to lower. Pool was nice sized, didnt get chance to go in, but looked nice and hot tub. Game room was cool. Parking great. Felt safe. Restaurant walking distance was good. Convienant location. Will be back.
Jennifer: We needed a hotel for an event at Cornerstone University. This hotel was so close to the school, & Meijer Gardens, we were able to squeeze in a quick stroll through the Meijer gardens and not be rushed at all. Everything was great from check in to check out and the staff was pleasant to deal with. (And they were quite busy!)We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel. The pool area was very clean and the water in the pool wasn't too cold. Bring extra quarters for the game room! We didn't use the work out space, but it too looked clean and kept up. The rooms were clean, we had no issues whatsoever.Breakfast was typical, hotel breakfast (a nice buffet of choices) and the staff made sure all the tables were wiped clean, and the counter tops were consistently being wiped down, especially around the waffle makers. We also enjoyed the complimentary cookies throughout our stay. In fact, we probably ate too many! (Thank you!) The complimentary coffee bar is a nice touch as well.Thank you for making our weekend comfortable and easy.Rooms: Our room was just what we needed for one night. It was also very clean.Nearby activities: We enjoyed the Meijer Gardens, there is also shopping and plenty of restaurants near by. Cornerstone University (the purpose of our visit), was very close making this property extremely convenient.

Kevin Thomas: I was in town for a family wedding and chose to stay at Country Inn and Suites...The hotel was easy to get to ( right off the highway) and was located close to downtown, but not actually downtown..Check-in was fast and easy..Room was clean, temperature was spot on,not too hot or cold... Breakfast area was nice and clean, with plenty of hot and cold items to choose from... Check-out was also quick and easy.... Overall it was a very nice hotel, easy to get to, quiet and would definitely stay there again.👍👍
Aubrey West: Very much enjoy this hotel. It's location, amenities, design is optimal to my travel needs.Close access to highways, not directly in downtown but a close 5-10 minute drive.Love that they have laundry services. Wish you would contact Wash to upgrade your machines to the digital app payment service they offer, making them more user friendly. As for the work out machines anyone over 140lbs makes the treadmill catch in the wheels under the tread, not super user friendly could use some improvements.Enjoy the hot tub and pool areas. Near laundry is an arcade, have not seen a hotel with that since I was a kid, very much enjoyed playing Pinball.I currently recommend this hotel to others, will continue to, and will also be back myself. Wish you had the option to purchase here at the hotel reusable branded bags, as I found that would have been helpful to me personally this trip.I'd give a 5 star, but I never give anyone 5 stars as I believe everyone and everything can be improved upon.
Zach Fletcher: What I liked: room floorplan with separate living area, in room microwave, 2 tvs, really good breakfast. What I didn't like: pool size was small for such a big hotel at over $200/night. It was packed.
Rachael Johnson: Easy check-in and check-out process (loved being able to check out remotely via text). The room was clean and tastefully decorated, and the shower worked well. The mattress was firm. All staff was very friendly and helpful.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

The Finnley Hotel: what do users think?
Bret Bussey: The room is immaculate and we loved the high class decor. Our room had some LP records arranged artfully on a wall, as well as a small modern record player. My only complaint is the lack of any noise cancellation - the walls and floor echoed all noises, including from the bathroom.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech …More

Robert Dillon: This place is cleaner than any hotel I have stayed in. I don’t ever use pools or gym rooms at hotels. This very clean and up to date comfortable and quiet.Rooms: Very clean. Current modern look.
Gabi Peters: The room was beautiful and clean. Check in was easy, as was check out - right from your phone. Very secure building right in the middle of downtown. You also couldn’t hear all the hustle and bustle of downtown while trying to sleep. The only issue was the AC wasn’t working and our room stayed very very hot and our only means of contact was an “emergent text line.” The TV remote wasn’t able to be used from the bed either (minor inconvenience). Having to pay premium to park in the parking structure or on the street was also another minor inconvenience.Nearby activities: Bars, food, etc. very closeSafety: Secure key code login to get into the hotel and your room. Cameras throughout the space.Walkability: Easy to walk or scooter pretty much everywhere.
Caleb Campbell: It is such a great find in the heart of Grand Rapids. This was the perfect pick for our trip to see a concert. Just a block from Van Andel arena and the Intersection, which is a nightclub with lots of artists. The room was clean, and the high-end finishes were elite. No problems checking in virtually in order to get the code to get in the building and then to the room. I will be back.
Debi Lewis: Rooms were clean and fun with the turn table!Awesome location for all the downtown fun!!Nearby activities: Close to everything. We walked everywhere. When we got to tired we took the free DASH bus!!
Alec Johnson: The Finnley couldn’t be in a better location. We were able to walk almost everywhere. Right in the heart of downtown but close to 131 for east access. Bed was super comfortable and the room charming. We will definitely stay here again!Safety: Super safe part of downtown.
Trevor Headings: We loved this cute little, local hotel in the heart of downtown. It was very pretty and was a perfect location for our weekend getaway.Rooms: The rooms were very aesthetic with nice modern decor.Walkability: We stayed for a weekend and didn’t have to use our car for the duration of our stay! Scott Faulkner: Great, clean touchdown space in a perfect location.Safety: Great building security and access.Walkability: Blocks away from everything..
Eileen Moloney: Lovely, clean, and well-appointed room in a great location at a really good price for location. Contactless check in was a breeze. Was unable to get parking because I booked day of visit but public garage was just down the street. The security deposit seems excessive and lengthy hold.
Jia Singh: My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night out on Valentine's Day & it was amazing!! It was everything we expected from photos before booking and more. The room was beautiful & the check-in/check-out process was easy. We also felt safe in the room! It was an extremely comfortable space that had a good vibe while also being in the perfect location- with everything in walking distance. The bathroom was nice and clean; the blackout shades and comfortable bed were great too. It gave a city and luxury feel. We had amazing food from Brick & Porter, only a couple of doors down from the hotel, and also walked to the Grand River, only 10 minutes from the hotel. We enjoyed our night & the room was a big part of that! We had zero complaints and will 100% book here again!!
Jenny DuBois: The Finnley is so unique, definitely my favorite in downtown GR. We love the simplicity in the heart of the city and will be back!
Z JASON: Front desk hand up my phone while I still talking.
