Debra Cork: We were visiting for the first time from Saginaw. Unfortunately, the grill was out of order so we were unable to experience the full menu. We ordered the all meat pizza and it was delicious! The crust of the pizza was crispy, but not heavy. We waited about twenty minutes for our order, but no worries; we would rather have it served properly rather than fast. Our server, Olivia, was accommodating, kind, and professional. There were, however, some loud altercations between staff members. In all of our years of dining, we have never experienced this level of public unprofessionalism. We cannot imagine what employers (and perhaps employees) have to endure these days. You are in our prayers.

My Grand Rapids Life My Grand Rapids Life: Had a tasty night out for pizza at Buddy's on 28th street! We had a the buddy's bread, caesar salad, and 8 piece 6 super mile pizza! Everything tasted great! I do wish that the breadsticks would have had a little more garlic to them but still very good.The star of the show was definitely the pizza the crispy Detroit crust pizza! I am a sauce person when it comes to pizza and the sauce is really good here, I think next time I will ask for extra though! :) I can't wait to go back!
Kevin Mosey: Nice place and cool atmosphere, quick and indifferent service. I expected just a little more out of the food. Marinaras and pizza sauces were watered down and indistinguishable. The pizza didn't quite have the crisp I was looking for on the edge, and the cheese bread was a little dry and lacking flavor. Tiramisu was great and I'd put it up there with Olive Garden as that's my favorite.I'm willing to try it again.

jennifer meyer: I always wanted to try it as I heard a lot of raving about it. Service was inattentive, had to haul them down after 20 min of no attention during a quiet, late lunch (only a few tables were occupied). The restaurant itself is rather small, like a take-out joint. It was very echo-ey/noisy atmosphere in the "garage-style" addition. Probably nice in the summer when they open up. Penne w/ Shrimp tasted good but pricey at $20 on a lunch menu. Sadly, the shrimp must not have been fresh as I started to feel sick to my stomach right after lunch. I do not understand the hype.

Mateo Gebon: I've come to Palermo for pizza at lunch a number of times. My workplace is nearby, and it's easy to walk here. The pizza is good, and they sell by the slice. It's nothing terribly fancy, but the price is good and service is always quick. Their lunch specials are a good deal when so many places have raised their prices these days. They do a great job.Parking: There are plenty of spaces for parking, and the lot is rarely very full.

David Neuenfeldt: First off i say all of this from the perspective of someone who has an extreme love for food and i did not one star you guys for one reason. The garlic bread is out of this world... FACT! The pasta sauce needs salt, garlic, and flavor... OPINION! The pasta is undercooked, also a FACT. I did not eat the meatballs because i am a struggling vegetarian and sometimes i think i can still eat meat, i cant... Seeing as how this seems to be authentic garlic bread i believe that maybe other food you serve is good and i am stating the things above as exactly what they are and in no way do i intend on trashing your business. Anyway thank you i still thought this dish was tasty just maybe lacking in one area.

Dan Holmes: Wow has this place changed. Used to be a nicer date night spot. But now it's become a rowdy, loud, sportsbar where the bartenders get drunk with the patrons.I got there on a Saturday night and soon it became clear the staff had boyfriends or friends etc who were there to watch a PPV fight. That group was loud and got irritated because the fight wasn't on the tvs it wanted. I witnessed bar staff do three rounds of shots with that group. One of the group was likely an employee off duty, but kept going behind the bar to get alcohol and key in drinks. This created a chaotic atmosphere at the bar. The staff didnt have control of the bar and customers (likely because they were drinking too), and other tables were screeching and causing a loud atmosphere that was visible bothering patrons trying to have their meal.I dont think my bartender put my food order in, because I saw her react startled and rush to the kitchen. My sandwich eventually came out, but the chicken was dry and the fries were undercooked.I wont be back. It felt like i was at a private party the bar staff and their friends were having.
Adiane R: Service was 100 out of 10. Great ambience, great people and amazing pizza. The pizza tasted like childhood, the dough was so good it could be eaten alone, the sauce was tremendous and evenly spread, and the cheese was heavenly. I can tell I am going to become a regular, so next time you find yourself in the westside stop by like I did. You wont be disappointed, you will be glad you did.

Barb Lomonaco: We've been to Big O's several times and it wasall delicious....but this recent visit, I believe that it's under new owners. Everything didn't taste as good as it did before this. The pizza we ordered was cheese, ham, onion, sausage and 1/2 black olives. The toppings were very little and made the pizza tasteless. The garlic knots were also not like they used to be. They used to be softer, larger and were dripping of garlic butter. I could make a meal out of them and a salad. So sadly I say that we won't be going back there.☹️

MT: One of the worst pizzas by any standard.The online order was not working and did not allow for credit payments.As for the pizza itself, Crust was chewy with no crunch. Cheese was screaming processed and oily. The slice fell apart anytime you tried to separate it from the pie.They used to have great pizzas here. Too bad that has changed.
