Christine Mason: I'm rather upset on behalf of my husband. We spent a good 1.5 hours picking 2 suits, one black for a black tie event. We were assured the black suit (which had to be ordered) would arrive in 7-10 days. When we didn't hear back, a call was made...oops, your suit is here, but somehow we missed it. Husband goes for a fitting; it's a different suit. Were told they couldn't get the correct one. How about calling us and letting us know?? He does not like this option, but we have to buy it. It's too late. Now it is supposed to be tailored and ready the day we fly out, but I don't trust them based on experience so far. Not happy at all.

As soon as I walked in, David Kositchek greeted me and offered to give me a tour. I could sense the genuine care that seems nearly obsolete in the customer service/retail world, today. Soon after, Carl came over to help and answered every question I had effectively and thoroughly. Additionally, Carl was able to provide me with items I simply may have glossed over if left to my own devices. I took full advantage of the $100 coupon and purchased a Peter Millar coat and a Johnny-O 1/4 zip. Gary from Leon G jewelers was also very helpful, conversing with me and answering any questions I had with regard to watches. All in all, an absolute must for anyone in the Lansing area looking to improve their men’s wear closet and have a pleasant, genuine and authentic experience in the process. I will be back.
john lumsden: A great experience from beginning to end. I flew in for a wedding from Germany and stopped in to buy new shoes, grab a haircut and purchase few other items. Lori was amazing in assisting me to find everything I was looking for as well as provided no pressure recommendations. The service was above and beyond when Lori was able to drop off the tailored sport jacket and slacks at my nearby hotel due to a Saturday morning wedding. If you are in Lansing or passing through like me, I would highly recommend you stop in.

After consulting with four other men's suit stores including another Jos A Bank in Livonia, I called in these guys, and they had what we needed and had set it aside. Qwan took care of us as soon as we arrived, and Bronte proceeded to assist us with the fitting. He got my fiance measured in no time, found a pair of shoes, a belt to match, the shirt, and knew exactly what to recommend. Everything fit perfectly, and the suit was tailored within a few hours when the average expectancy is two weeks. We were blown away by the courtesy, professionalism, style, and overall stellar personalities of these guys! We bought a three piece suit, shirt, shoes and belt all in one day for less than $600 including the tailoring services. Thank you, Bronte for making our day!!! My fiancé's gonna look like a million bucks at out wedding!

R3C Tech: Went in for a fitting for a suit for a friend's wedding. Brittany was wonderful, it was the most thorough fitting I've yet had and she walked me through all the tailoring bits and customizations that I'd have been unable to navigate alone.

A KWM: My son and I made two trips. The first trip, we were helped by a young black man, he was very friendly and accommodating. We left with a shirt and tie.Unfortunately, my sons homecoming date wanted my son to get a different color shirt and tie, so I found myself returning it shortly thereafter.I went into the store shortly after opening, there was a late 20s-early 30s looking white man standing at the front counter and speaking on the phone. I bypassed the counter and browsed the tie colors to see if they had what the date wanted. When I was done with this, another young white man came out of the back and asked if he could help me.I indicated my need to make a return and he said I would have to wait for the man on the phone. After about 5 minutes went by, this young man offered me a chair to wait. Polite, but I declined, stating I hoped it wasn’t going to take so long that I had to get a chair.So, as time goes by, I’m listening to the man on the phone. It’s clear he’s speaking to corporate and not a customer. He was trying to figure out how to change someone else’s reservation.I became increasingly irritated. As someone who works in customer service, it seems obvious to put corporate on hold while you serve the customer standing in front of you.15 minutes later, the man ended his phone call and started my return. Some of his residual irritation from the phone call bled over into our exchange, there was a lot of sighing.As if this wasn’t bad enough, I’m the middle of my return, the man stopped what he was doing and turned to have a discussion with a customer who came in AFTER me.Then he came back to work on my return, then he apologized and went back AGAIN to help the other customer.He made a comment about hoping that we have better luck next time we shop. I won’t be back. This was my first and only experience with Jos A Banks.

christy Beebe: Awful customer service. Pay $600 for suit and told to come back anytime to get alterations done. Only to leave out that tailor isn’t there everyday. And then told to go to another location closer to home that doesn’t even have a tailor.The young lady that waited on us with our return trip was very rude and unprofessional.Will not be going back!

Erin Paskus: Tdlr; trans-friendly service although the sizes off the rack do not go below W30 or chest 35.I entered like, an hour before closing and was walking around looking very obviously clueless because I have never bought a suit before. A very helpful floor person came up to me and asked me what I was looking for, I told him I need something for short kings and he suggested a custom suit. He did not miss a beat when I told him that I am trans and I still have my t*ts so I wasn’t sure about the tailoring involved. He said they have a no touch policy with their tailor so I would not have to worry about any awkwardness, and even offered that I could schedule an appointment when an AFAB staff member was present.The custom suit ended up not working out because I needed the suit very soon, but the floor person spent a ton of time trying to find a suit that would fit, and his coworkers also helped a lot. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find anything because my dimensions are quite small - I had to shop in the petit section before transitioning.If you are a W30 or above and a chest size 35 or above I highly recommend for trans friendly service! I don’t remember the guys name who helped me, but he was a tall white guy with reddish hair. Super sweet guy and so was everyone else!

Les Hayden: The initial impression was poor. The sales person barely acknowledged our arrival and made no effort to assist us. He eventually warmed up once he realized we were there to actually purchase clothes. The prices are a little high and the selection average. One of the few places that services big and tall sizes.
Kevin Brewbaker: I am a difficult fit as I am a short man in height. Went in to look for a new suit and was greeted by the salesman Matt. Matt took the time to find the right look for me and in a size that, with some alterations, was a perfect fit. Would like to add that he made sure the alterations were done in a very short amount of time. I highly recommend Matt and this Mens Warehouse location!!
Lew Dotterer: The one person working was busy but was able to take my measurements so I will be able to let the tux shop in another city know and get the tux ready for me. He did a great job and was very pleasant. It was great when another employee came in. Sorry no business for the store but would come back for sure!
