Megan Evans: I had been directed all over the place by my insurance company when my dr said I needed a knee brace. I went to 3 different places one including a hospital until I finally came to Wright & Filippis in Lansing. So incredibly happy with the service I was given and the quick referral they got from my insurance company. I was told from a different company it would take a minimum of 2 weeks. The staff is so polite and knowledgeable & you can tell they really care about their patients. If I need anything like this in the future this if the pnky place I will go! Highly recommend.

Angela Fritz: I'm so happy I found this place. My son was diagnosed with scoliosis when he was 6 years old. He is now 14. We have been dealing with Wright & Filippis for years. The company as a whole gets a big thumbs up from me and my family but especially the Lansing office. For years we had been driving to Famington Hills from Howell (which is a terrible drive depending on time of day) and whenever I asked about a closer office I was led to believe that there was no other office with a pediatric orthotic specialist. I put up with it because we did receive really good service. But I found out that was incorrect and we saw Dan D in the Lansing office and he is competent, knowledgeable, patient and caring and I can now give 5 stars!!
Brie O: This is the second time we’ve ordered AFOs for our son from W&F. We’ve had an amazing experience in every interaction we’ve had with them. They are extremely friendly and helpful! We have always been able to get appointments very quickly and have never waited long to be seen. The last set of AFOs came in within 2 weeks and they got us in for the fitting within 2 days. This time, I called to order a new pair and they got us in the very next day for the measurements. I would highly recommend!!

Shannon McCarthy: I came in to be measured for compression socks last week after being given a prescription from my doctor. I arrived literally 2 minutes late to a completely empty waiting room, and the receptionist gave me a really hard time and said that the person who does the fittings *might* be able to fit me in now that I was 2 (and I am not exaggerating) minutes late. I did not appreciate the attitude.Once measured, they told me it would be about a week before the socks were available. Apparently there was a request to my Dr's office for a "detailed written order" above and beyond the prescription I provided which wasn't responded to for a week, and no one reached out to me to explain that the socks wouldn't be available and were never ordered. I called today (1.5 wks after the fitting) to check the status of my order and was informed of this situation. I asked what their procedure is if a doctor's office doesn't respond to a request like this (they said they had called the office 3 times), and how many times would they try the doctor before reaching out to me, and I was basically blown off. I cancelled the order and can't recommend them.
Michael Fisher: Never in my life would I ever recommend a place that services in lots of cases the vulnerable. They have the worst customer service, organizational, care lacking environment I've experienced yet, my uncle medical equipment still to this day for a prescription sent months ago Has not been addressed. Pressure relieving equipment that has dire need. Appointment scheduled without knowledge. Appointments scheduled for reasons that we never called and requested. The examples surmount. Bottom line trust when I say if you care about a loved ones need and your own for that matter.... You'll have more bad than good happen here 9 out of 10 times. It's unfortunate for a place that's been in business for years.
Jack DuVal: The customer service at the Lansing location of Wright&Filippis is at best an insult to any sense of couth or decorum, at worst its just flat out negligent. .The staff will be sure to let you know that your presence is a burden to their "work" schedule, and that your questions or concerns are worth nothing more than mockery in the form of passive aggressive non-sequitur comments, humphs, and eye rolling.. Here's the beauty part, after coming off as so superior, they aren't even qualified to check your insurance correctly, they will more than likely end up telling you to go work it out with the insurer yourself. .wow.under-worked and overpaid often?Its a shame that I have to leave one star because they didn't earn that much. From top to bottom this place it a disaster, I'd chew tinfoil before stepping foot back in this establishment. I have just a little too much self respect to be a patron of Wright&Filippis . .

Megan Ten Broeke: The process to get my daughter's wheelchair was unescessarily long and difficult. W&P Lansing is unorganized, inefficient, and provides good customer service about one out of ten times. We complained politely through the proper channels but got a different story each time. Finally my husband tweeted about the situation and that got the company'd attention.Stay away ftom Wright and Fillipis. Take your prrscription elsewhere, even if you have to go out of town. Unless, of course, you like excruciating frustration. Personally, I'd rather be hit on the forehead with a 2×4 than work with Wright and Fillipis again. Unfortunately, I have to rely on them for repairs.I can't imagine how the elderly navigate the ordering process. Condidering the vulnerable population they serve, W&P needs to be much, much better.
ruth nealey: 3 months to get repair - UNACCEPTABLE! My wheelchair is broke on the right side and non drivable. A call to repair was put on emergency status (5 days) including weekend. If I didn't have a backup chair I wouldn't be able to get to a bathroom or to get something to eat, but what's 5 days! Oh and it's a $20,000.00 chair.It took 3 months to get my chair fixed! From October 7 to January 13. No phone calls unless I initiated them, many mistakes done by the company, and because of this, I have to pay my full deductible because of the new year. UNACCEPTABLE!

robert jury: I just became a left leg below the knee amputee in Feb of this year and Liz and Christen have been absolutely fantastic Liz is always friendly and greets me every time and assisted with getting to the right place in the office and christen had just been absolutely wonderful I was really nervous on my first appointment and she treated me like a normal person was very friendly and made me feel comfortable didn't hesitate to answer my questions and took the time to explain things and when I had a concern about my first shrinker sock she immediately helped me fix it great staff always friendly and cheerful look forward to working with them in the future thank you
Douglas: I have been taken care of by Christen & Liz since they started at Hanger more than 10 years. I have been an amputee for 50 years. I have unique and challenging fit needs. Liz is friendly, always has a smile and provides great service with expert insurance handling. I never have to worry! Christen listens, never acts like a condescending know it all like other places. Christen has provided the best prosthetics I've ever had made. As a nonstandard amputee I cannot say enough about them. The guys in the lab are top notch as well! Thank you Warren and Justin. And they never answer their phone but their excuse was we're in a meeting or we're screening our calls. The manager the lady is nothing better you know what very self-centered and very snotty. Coral Faith: I went to several stores in the Meridan Mall today Shoe shopping is always difficult for my disabled daughter since her stroke 9 years ago she has needed to wear an AFO brace this makes it very difficult to find shoes boots and Sandles today was different experience after some frustration in the first store we triade homes I can honestly say we were so impressed at the customer service by the manager Joel as well as his knowledge and compassion he showed us he understood our frustrations and worked so well with my daughter I applaud Joel and believe there should be more people so compassionate about their job

The Grand Rapids locations are still top notch, I guess I will be making the drive to shop my favorite shoe store. Save your time and go to Playmakers, way better in all aspects, from staff to product selection.

I told her it was a gift from my sister. She never offered to find a left shoe she just said the she said I could get cash back and to just ask my sister to buye another pair. But if you have made an investment in the comfort and sustainability of quality shoes or boots and want them refurbished to as good or better than new, this is the place to take them. I have been a customer for many years and have always been completely satisfied. Excellent work at fair prices (always quoted in advance). I recommend this place to my friends.
