The staff is fantastic and the work they do is impeccable.Edit: 4/12/23 The new decreased hours and unavailability to do an oil change for a week is disappointing as I have to find somewhere else to take my vehicles to accommodate my schedule and availability. It's unfortunate cause they do such good work and the staff is wonderful, but the new hours are awful.

ICS: Was pricey $$$ they did great work but, when I asked a price and knew the problem they wanted to charge $149.00 diagnostic fee. If you know this is your new Auto shop and may bring in other people who may use them you have to compromise. They didn't and I found a diagnostic fee of $50.00 and did the Job within hours and did a terrific job and they were busy and got us out in 4 hours. The guys were down to earth and Great conversation. I am no longer interested in Sterling Care..

I took it to Auto clinic and the diagnostic fee was $75.00 . Will not be returning to Sterling car care.

KRISSY: Don't waste your money here. I just needed one part of my car looked at. I told the guy at the desk what was wrong-it was an obvious issue needing repair. They give you the runaround and claim everyone gets a courtesy inspection and yet then charge you $150 for an inspection that's not even applied to labor.... The guy I worked with was extremely cocky and I decided to not continue business since I felt they ripped me off and I left. Their estimates on repairs (even minor things) were outrageous as well. I was contacted AFTER I had already left and then told me I could get a better rate if I returned. Sadly, you already lost my trust just by letting me walk out and not caring then. I got the job completed elsewhere with quicker service, a far better rate, an actual FREE estimate/inspection and a warranty on top of that. You guys couldn't even provide that. All you gave me was a complete waste of my time and money.

Rusty: Very happy with this group. Found these guys on the internet. I am in NC. Needed assistance getting my In-laws A/C repaired while my wife was visiting Sterling Heights this week. Dealership had quoted over $2000 for the repair so it was postponed. Called and spoke with Christina them to explain the challenge, she was very helpful. My wife dropped by to make a connection. They determined they could repair the car while she was in town. Big help. The repair was not as big as the dealership thought and A/C was back running for less than half what the dealership estimated. I am a fan. They were very helpful and friendly. Greg Butorin: I had an issue with my transmission that a dealership lied to me about and took several visits, plenty of cash, and hours of my time. The technicians here at top quality care were able to find the root cause within half an hour and even showed me in person. They were respectful, friendly, honest and very knowledgeable. They give you the facts and don't hide anything from you. Love to see it. They even got me in on short notice. Consider top quality care auto for any car work or maintenance. Will take my vehicle somewhere else to repair their hack job.Have stopped there for oil changes. One time a guy told me the main seal was leaking and estimated $1100 to repair. Local Celebs Magazine: These guys are great. They don't BS you to sell you stuff you don't need. Top Quality Care is top quality. They're fast and their prices are reasonable. I completely trust them. My husband trust them to take care of my car and his truck. When they do find something wrong, they tell us and then show us. I now send my friends and kids there as well. It's close to home so I call it our neighborhood shop. We had a transmission replaced by them. They did a phenomenal job. Last visit we got an oil change and and wipers. We got the best stuff. Synthetic oil and RainX wipers. It cost us $125.00. Not bad.

I drop my car off and speak with the guys about the possible problem. I tell them that depending on the price for the engine repair, I may want them to take care of my brakes too while they have the car. Steve calls me to tell the issue with the engine and the cost. He then tells me that I don't need to get my brakes done right away as they were still good and would last me for a while. They could have easily told me different and charged me for the brakes. Any issues I’ve EVER had with my car I’ve always come here and they’ve always been extremely helpful, educated and most importantly, FAIR. Most auto shops will try to drain you for every penny. Classic Automotive Repair will make any suggestions or recommendations needed, but will be up front and honest about if it’s something that can wait or if it’s serious and needs to be addressed asap. I’ve referred everyone I know to them and they’ve all had excellent experiences as well. They absolutely have a lifelong (or at the very least car owner long) customer in me! Took my car to another place (hint: at 11 and woodward), and they were trying to upsell me over $1,200 worth of stuff for standard maintenance/transmissions fluid change, went to Classic Auto for a second opinion, and they told me what I ACTUALLY needed done on my car for just a couple hundred bucks. It was, but when I called the dealership and told them that both struts needed to be fixed due to alignment the dealer said only the bad one would be covered. Blk Wht: Went to N&N for a radiator and timing belt replacement. Everything seemed to have gone well until my next oil change after the repair. The oil change mechanics indicated that the water pump on my vehicle was leaking. N&N did not catch this during the radiator replacement, which meant they did not pressurize the coolant system to check for leaks after the radiator replacement, a check that would likely have caught the water pump leak. This mistake is additionally egregious as usually the water pump and timing belt are replaced together.When I later had the water pump replaced, the mechanic also discovered that the timing belt was incorrectly installed—misaligned by one tooth. In the short run this misalignment was not significant enough to cause a check engine light but over a few years it almost certainly would have.In short, both parts of my $1k+ repair were incorrectly performed. I certainly would not recommend this shop for major repairs.

SEAN: Damien seems like a nice guy. Overall they were reasonably priced for the job. However, about 300 miles after having my starter replaced, my truck starting having exhaust leakage and rattling. The exhaust manifold had to be accessed as well as the heat shield. Both of which are an issue after the repair. Prior to the repairs, I had no such issues. Im overall unhappy with their service and will seek out other reputable shops.

An inexpensive one(and understandably not guaranteed) and the "correct" fix. I went with the correct one. Much more expensive, but I did want it done right. I appreciated at least being given an option for a less expensive option. Nice to see they didn't automatically try to take every penny. I felt the labor rates were fair for the whole job, and they got it all done same day. They are busy however, so make an appointment!

J K: Got my winter tires here. They took forever putting the tires on, left my car early in the morning, came back in the evening to find it not done still. I was told they were just having a hard time with my car.Once winter was over, I got them changed back to the regular tires. Again, I came back to pick it up only to find it not finished yet. I was given the same excuse about how they were having such a hard time with my car.Was charged over $100 just to get them changed each time for the labor.Fast forward, my tires keep going flat. I have to pump them every 2 days. I took them to Discount Tires and they told me that whoever put my tires on ** MOUNTED MY TIRES ON BACKWARDS **. They fixed it all for me for only $40. They also finished in less than an hour. Don't know why you guys had such a hard time, Sterling Tire, that it took you guys 8+ hours plus did the job wrong... Don't know why you also charge more than double....If you're wondering if you should go here, just go to Discount Tires instead. Finally get a message back saying it was ready to be picked up, but, he replaced a wheel bearing that didn't need to be replaced, nor did he contact me to see if I wanted him to replace it, and charged me for said repair. Transmission was free, but, said he wanted $180 for replacing the part that I didn't authorize him to replace, then, when I get there, he said it was going to cost $200 instead. Would not recommend acquiring his services. I will NEVER go back!

Everything the Shelby Auto wouldn’t do David did it with no problem! My car needed a new alternator and as far as the windows and radio they had messed up some wiring ! They are the best and the also put me on a payment plan because I didn’t have much after Shelby Auto took 2 months to fix my car due to the flood I had to spend ridiculous amount of money in rentals! This shop is nothing but a junk yard, only one mechanic who is rude, david who lies about everything, specially the job done.I gave him my debit card to pay for the due balance and he took it behind the counter, and then asked if i have cash. So i said yes, i will give you cash as it will save me 3% credit card charge.Next morning i saw $ 418 charge on my credit card. I went to his shop but he was not there, as i had to go back home to chicago, i called him and he will say he will call me back. None the less i had to dispute my charges and got it back via my bank. Stay away from these crooks. They will lure your business and then screw you left and right.
London Ashes: I like doing reviews based on many factors and are outlined below for david and amelio- customer service: OK, i must say David has a way to lure in customers in the begging to get the business. However, once you drop ofr your car there, i can almost gaurantee you will not get your car back in time. Probably reason being, this place has only 1 working mechanic and get too much work so he has alot on his plate. I do not think David is a mechanic and if he is, a very useless one.Quality of work: If there is anything worse than poot, i would say its here. Not only they use cheapest quality parts but upmark them to you. I had my full front suspension and brake/ rotor job done here. On fourth try we got the break job correct. Just 4 months in the job, i had to change rotors and brakes again since the pads used were incorrect.Price: If you ever want to use this place, make sure tell him to get a confirmation from you before doing the work. They charged me thousands of dollars( literrally) and still issues with car. Also make sure to check the work done, specifically brake jobs before making any payment or you wont see your money back. I can't say he is honest or dishonest but i had a very very bad experience.All in all i wouldnt recommend this place. He not only stole money but did poor quality work and took him 4 tries and 3 weeks. Still i had to go back into another shop to get it right. Not to mentioned some of the other lights on the dash that came on after he was done and when asked he lied that you brought it like this.A very compulsive lier.
