Joe C: The rooms are large with a living area with a couch and desk near the hallway and a sleeping area near outdoors. Both areas have TVs, so if one person wanted to stay up, it would not disturb a second sleeping. A bathroom and a large counter space are located between the two. The counter is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and safe. Both our room and the common areas were neat and well maintained. Nothing in our room (106) was broken. The breakfast was ample and fresh. I had two bowls of raisin bran, orange juice, blackberry yogurt, and coffee. The motel is located near the airport, but is distant from downtown. (We came to visit museums. So we had to drive and park downtown. Of course, downtown motels / hotels are significantly more expensive.) Overall, this Econolodge is an excellent value.

Kayla Martino: DO NOT STAY HERE! I wish I could give this place a ZERO. We flew into town for a wedding and our room was dirty and smelt AWFUL, like fish. When we called the front desk to ask if we could switch rooms because of the smell, they just sent someone up with an air freshener and left. We spent the whole weekend sick because of the smell and honestly felt so dirty. Then when we left to fly home we scheduled the shuttle to take us to the airport. The guy called our room at 4am screaming that we had to leave right now, even though we weren't scheduled to leave for another 2 hours. He rushed us out because that's when HE was ready to leave and we never got our deposit back because he rushed us out. Wish I knew how awful this place was before booking.

Paige G.: Great experience overall, staff went above and beyond. Had to fly out during a snowstorm and our car got stuck, so they drove us to the airport and waived the parking fee. When we got back they picked us up, un-stuck our car, and then gave the battery a jump. My husband and I wouldn’t have been able to get home that night without their help, and we’re both very grateful!The room was nice, clean, and quiet, with a good amount of space to move around. Great water pressure as well!

T Lou: I read the reviews before booking this place to sleep and fly. The reviews WAY overstated how nice this place is. I do want to state that the people working were attentive and the rooms were clean, but that is the extent of anything I can say that was positive.First of all, when we walked in, the lobby was basically missing. They're undergoing extreme renovations and there was plastic and drywall dust all over. And very noisy workers. It wasn't even really a lobby. It was a job site. I couldn't believe they even let people stay there while this was going on. But at this point, we had no choice but to stay. We got up to our room and it was NOT what we had reserved. We had reserved a king and it was two double beds. We called down immediately and they said, "sorry...we're sold out of king rooms." "I'm not sure why I was able to reserve one then", I replied. They said "well, it's the same price anyway so..." and that was that. We tried to turn the TV on and it didn't work. They did come up and try to fix it, but they couldn't and basically said "oh well".Then we tried to sleep because our flight left very early and we had booked the shuttle and there was no way we could sleep. The paper-thin walls and very loud neighbors, as well as the proximity to the busy highway made it impossible. In the morning, when we got to the lobby to take the shuttle to the airport, they had overbooked the number of people and our luggage and all of the passengers were squished. The van was absolutely trashed as well. We noticed a partially full water bottle in the cupholder which was STILL there when they shuttle picked us up after our trip. And also, most of the parking spaces are in a very muddy area adjacent to the regular hotel parking.Again, the people were "available" but not interested in making it a pleasant experience. For what we had to pay to stay there, we'll definitely SLEEP at home and pay the airport parking rate next time.

entity Agar: Stayed at this hotel not too long ago and did a PARK SLEEP FLY package and it was great for a price of 161 i parked my car for 9 days got a double bed and shuttle both ways from airport they have 24 hour shuttles and i had a 3 am flight. they accommodated me very well and will be staying here again very soon with my friends and I, overall great place and definitely recommend 10/10. owners and staff are all very nice people and did lots of remodeling and the place looks much better than what the previous owners had done.

Fe Moore: I was coming to Grand Rapid Mi April 28, 2023. I booked 7 rooms with two Queen beds. The day before my check in someone from the Candlewood suite called and informed me I need to move to their sister hotel. The problem began when I didn’t have a reservation at the new hotel. The staff from Candlewood told me not to call them anymore and my problem is with the sister hotel. They were rude and act like I was bothering them. Wow is that how you treat your customers.

Lindsey Paris (Linny_Rae): Hotel is outdated, but it was inexpensive. There was definitely an issue with drugs. There were people parked outside with the side door propped open. But one person held the door for me, so at least they were friendly. Bathroom was nice besides the bathtub that looked like it was from the 70's and smalllllll. It was clean, which is more than I can say for some of the expensive places we've stayed. I had my french bulldog with me and it was only 12.50, which is way less then other IHG hotels. That brings me to say how disappointed I am with the company. We've paid 350 for a room and they still want an extra $75 for us to stay a night. I was surprised they didn't have a breakfast too. First IHG hotel without one so far. I gave service a 3 because we didn't use them being there only 1 night. I almost called when some jerk decided to keep slamming his door at 6am when I'm assuming loading his vehicle. He was lucky that after the 4th, I said, "one more time" and there wasn't one.

goodkarna: Not clean, poorly maintained, strong smell of multiple ethnic foods throughout. Spiders. Ants. Extremely slow check-in/ staff.I apparently dropped a Cheez-It, when I came back to the room, there were ants all over it. Blanket was stained. Constant drip leak in the shower and to the drain on the bathroom floor.

Scott Seabrook: Made reservation for a king room and was put into a room with a full bed and didn't even notice the bed size until we went to get into bed but when I asked at checkout about it thinking maybe it was only room left or that there would be a valid reason, and the first employee couldn't give me a reason why and was purplexed, explained that the room code for room i was in, is a king room but their room map shows that the room isn't a king bed, that their supposed to check the map when checking in but didn't know as to why........ So he got the manager and after explaining that there's no price difference (so it shouldn't matter) the manager denied that the reservation was for a king bed. Now if this was a restaurant and I order the steak but get meat loaf, even if they're the same price they're gonna order to either make the correct for or compensate for their error. Since I can't exactly get my night of sleep back I should've been at least apologized to.

Seth Mccormack: I stayed in room 213 this past weekend. We awoke to a leaking ceiling and a floor that was covered in a puddle of water. The front desk worker told us that the manager would accommodate us for dealing with this, but the manager has not returned any of our calls and has been avoiding us for the past several days. Would highly recommend finding a different place to stay.

Godzil La: Picked this hotel based on reviews. Staff and location were great, but accommodations did not live up to expectations. Air conditioning unit was too loud. My room was across from housekeeping so noisy during the day. Shower too narrow, you cannot raise both elbows up at the same time to wash hair. Soap was an odd shape as if the melt old bars togther. Bath towels so small you can't wrap, I am average size and the two ends don't even meet. Inside coffee maker was dirty. Nice pool but workout room very small. 1 guest, 2 queen beds, $166 for one night...not good value for the money.

B Marquez: Went for Mothers Day weekend. Roomy hotel room. 1 king and 1 queen in room, we shared, myself, son and Grandma. Clean rooms, bathrooms, spacious. Firepit outside, need another one so more people can enjoy. Free cookies, coffee, mints, and breakfast. Breakfast was great. Variety. Staff was great. Air in our room was super strong, tried to lower. Pool was nice sized, didnt get chance to go in, but looked nice and hot tub. Game room was cool. Parking great. Felt safe. Restaurant walking distance was good. Convienant location. Will be back.

Jennifer: We needed a hotel for an event at Cornerstone University. This hotel was so close to the school, & Meijer Gardens, we were able to squeeze in a quick stroll through the Meijer gardens and not be rushed at all. Everything was great from check in to check out and the staff was pleasant to deal with. (And they were quite busy!)We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel. The pool area was very clean and the water in the pool wasn't too cold. Bring extra quarters for the game room! We didn't use the work out space, but it too looked clean and kept up. The rooms were clean, we had no issues whatsoever.Breakfast was typical, hotel breakfast (a nice buffet of choices) and the staff made sure all the tables were wiped clean, and the counter tops were consistently being wiped down, especially around the waffle makers.We also enjoyed the complimentary cookies throughout our stay. In fact, we probably ate too many! (Thank you!) The complimentary coffee bar is a nice touch as well.Thank you for making our weekend comfortable and easy.Rooms: Our room was just what we needed for one night. It was also very clean.Nearby activities: We enjoyed the Meijer Gardens, there is also shopping and plenty of restaurants near by. Cornerstone University (the purpose of our visit), was very close making this property extremely convenient.

Kevin Thomas: I was in town for a family wedding and chose to stay at Country Inn and Suites...The hotel was easy to get to ( right off the highway) and was located close to downtown,but not actually downtown..Check-in was fast and easy..Room was clean, temperature was spot on,not too hot or cold... Breakfast area was nice and clean, with plenty of hot and cold items to choose from... Check-out was also quick and easy.... Overall it was a very nice hotel, easy to get to, quiet and would definitely stay there again.👍👍

It's location, amenities, design is optimal to my travel needs.Close access to highways, not directly in downtown but a close 5-10 minute drive.Love that they have laundry services. Wish you would contact Wash to upgrade your machines to the digital app payment service they offer, making them more user friendly.As for the work out machines anyone over 140lbs makes the treadmill catch in the wheels under the tread, not super user friendly could use some improvements.Enjoy the hot tub and pool areas. Near laundry is an arcade, have not seen a hotel with that since I was a kid, very much enjoyed playing Pinball.I currently recommend this hotel to others, will continue to, and will also be back myself. Wish you had the option to purchase here at the hotel reusable branded bags, as I found that would have been helpful to me personally this trip.I'd give a 5 star, but I never give anyone 5 stars as I believe everyone and everything can be improved upon.
