William Jones: Very honest and got me in with no wait time for an inspection. Very helpful and everyone there was super nice to us! I would definitely recommend using them if you're not happy with big dealership techs who just want your vehicle to break first and then they fix it. Went in for inspection and when they were done, they didn't even charge me! I will never take my vehicles anywhere else! And I have been a big dealership guy for years! Owner wad amazing! Techs were amazing! And very thorough during inspections!

Nathan Poling: I was told by other shops that I needed my whole exhaust replaced, and I was mentally prepared to spend around $1500 to fix it. Went in to get a quote, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear it would just need some welding. Less than $200 later I was good to go. Everyone I spoke with was great and they all deserve a raise! Definitely plan on coming here again if need be.

After dropping my wife and daughter off this morning I brought our only vehicle to you to get fixed. Not only did you do a complete brake job, rotors, calipers and bearings for the rear but you did it spur of the moment with only a half hour notice and finished it by the end of the day!

Sara Mullens: Went to get the catalytic converter replaced due to a noise and not only was he super knowledgeable and fairly priced on the phone compared to others we called but once he took a look, it just needed a clamp to hold a loose bracket! No charge! Sorry to say most people would have changed it and we would have wasted $500+ plus most places would also find other things needing “repair”…. Travohn Elmore: I paid to have a new muffler put on my commercial vehicle (dually) approximately a year ago. I did not like how low they installed muffler but I needed to put the truck back to work. Now I call them and ask if I can make appointment so they can pull up previous service records and do it right this time with a different style muffler (if needed). He sd they don't make appointments🤔. Then I say I'll leave it the night before just make sure it's done the next day and I asked will I get discount for the way they installed it last year and having to get it done correct the second time.. he couldn't answer and didn't reassure me that they will make it right!!

Greg Long: Driving along and my exhaust basically fell apart, so I swung into Muffler Man, and they had me back on the road in less than two hours. I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, a high-performance car, but the original dual exhaust was in rough shape Needed replacing. They had the parts delivered in only 45 min. and got straight to work on it. I thought the price was very fair and was so happy to have it done so quickly. What I figured would haunt me all week was fixed in 2 hours. All the techs there are very knowledgeable and professional and did a great job. Matt Reda: Reminds me of repair shops when I was a kid. Greasy fingerprints on the walls, smells like smoke, TV that kind of works, pot of old coffee on the counter (I say these things not as criticisms, but with happy nostalgia.) Overall, they were professional, doing what they said they’d do, and the price was probably 2/3 what I would have paid elsewhere. I was pleased with the service and would certainly go back for future repairs.

H Howard: The most unprofessional place I've ever been to in my life. Two German shepherds in the lobby jumping all over me. I told the guy I don't like dogs and asked repeatedly to get the dogs off of me, he proceeded to tell me that we could step outside and if I needed to drop my car off I could but if I had to stay the dogs WOULD be in there! Laura McKee: DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!They will sabotage your repair to make sure you come back to get more business from you.I found this out by getting my headlights done there and about 8 months later the headlights went out again. So I brought it somewhere else and then I found out Mufflerman had put a high beam bulb in a low beam plug. And the plugs melted. Beware!

Matthew's Garden: Woman who works at the front desk is such a horrible person. I can't believe someone actually made the choice to have her work in customer service. Genuinely mean to everyone I seen come in while I waited 3 more hours than 3 hours for an oil change.Also when my car got done they claimed I had a head gasket leak that needed to be fixed ASAP or my car would die immediately. I was skeptical so I got a second and a third opinion from other mechanics in the area and they both clearly showed me nothing was wrong at all. A clear swing and miss attempt at scamming me.

Instead of saying that they couldn't work on it they got some guys and pushed it into the garage. Once it was charged, James had to reprogram the key to get the anti-theft to stop honking. Then it happened again when we picked it up. Never once did they make me feel like I had inconvenienced them, even though they should not have to deal with that. Daniel: UPDATE: April 7,2022This past Tuesday, Mike the manager at Muffler Man reached out and offered to take care of the problem. Let me start off by saying Mike exceeded my expectation and went above and beyond to find a solution to the problem. He was able to replace the muffler with a new one and got my car ready to go that same day. He was extremely respectful and professional. I truly appreciate him taking the time to reach out and making sure that the service I paid for was done properly within a timely manner.March 31, 2022Took my Jeep close to 2 months ago to get the muffler repaired since it was extremely loud. Paid over $400 for my muffler to now be doing the exact same thing. I specifically told them to please look at it and fix whatever it needed. Today, the muffler began making the loud noise I had paid to get repaired just to find out they only fixed a section of the muffler. I had my brother call them since I strongly feel that because I’m a women they thought it was easy to just take advantage of me. My brother spoke to Jake, who told us that “this is Michigan and we’re known for rust”. I understand that, but if they knew it needed to get replaced why didn’t they tell me this and only fix a small part of it?! The muffler clearly looks rusted and since my car was already at the shop and I had told them to fix whatever it needed why not replace the muffler if I was already paying for that service.Now they wanted me to take my car back so they could take a look at it and pay for the same service again because Jake says that they don’t do “free labor” it is not free labor when I already paid for a service that was not done properly.To top it off, we got nowhere because Jake told us to just have a good day and hung up.

After looking into it, wheel bearings were not the issue at all. I am happy they did not try to get me to spend hundreds of dollars on something I didn't need. T “Boots”: Buyer beware: 2 repairs in the past year that were not done properly or cheap parts, front brake warranty took care of it but I paid labor...not pleased since 2 months later I was told by Ford I would need brakes soon, similar situation with my shocks, they were willing to replace but I would have to pay for labor...down to one mechanic, and them needing my car 2 days I decided maybe I need to let them go

Andrea Stachowiak: I went to get my car looked at for a brake problem. They did a full overview of the car and found out I needed rotors and whatnot. I pick up the car and its acted like it was fixed. One day later i had lights come on in my car for brake fluid, that my traction needed to be serviced. Come to find out the workers left me with NO brake fluid or anything in my car 😤 so long story short don’t go use there services if they properly can’t finish a job.

Diane DeRitter: I called this Midas on Plainfield Ave. after getting a diagnosis and a very expensive estimate to replace my entire exhaust system for a small break, as required by Ford. Midas was able to get me in when my schedule allowed and wait for diagnosis and repair. The problem was different than I had been told, Midas let me look at the exhaust and they were able to repair, not replace, the whole exhaust. I arrived at 8:15 am and was out the door by 9:30 am. Joe J.: I just wanted to share how impressed I am by Bob (the owner)'s integrity. We took my wife's vehicle in today to get the brakes checked out, because she has about 60,000 miles on it and the brakes have been making a squealing sound intermittently. I was surprised when Bob called to tell me the brakes were totally fine and likely wouldn't need any work for another 30,000+ miles. I was even more surprised when he told me there was no charge for the inspection. I expected to have to pay for them getting checked, so that was a nice bonus, but I imagine a lot of less honest shops would have suggested work just to increase their bottom line.
