Jessica H: We spoke with Brian at Greenstone in Monroe, MI and he was initially helpful but after finding a couple things on my husband’s credit report and making it seem like we could get these things resolved and move forward, Brian didn't call back as he stated he would and didn’t return our messages. After a couple of weeks my husband finally got Brian on the phone and was told he cannot work with us. This information would have been nice to know a little sooner and it was pretty unprofessional to ignore us. It would have been nice if he was just honest with us. I would not recommend working with him unless you are very sure he won’t have to do any additional work to help you out or put any extra time in for you.
Rosemarie Macaluso: Don’t waste your money with this company!! Our loan was totally messed up from day one! We didn’t get a response from Kyle Griffiths anytime there was a problem (there were lots!). In order to get a loan you have to $1000 in a stock with this company in which they don’t tell you about up front. They didn’t send us our docs before closing so that we could review them. At the closing table we found out all of the inconsistencies. At that moment we weren’t in a position to walk away because our sellers were upset and lost their patience after dealing with this company. We are looking for another loan to replace this one ASAP. Another $3,000-$6,000 lost. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!

Steve Bierens: Very dissatisfied with the service i recived from the Hasting Michigan location..(Aaron Hartman) .. Been looking to get loan for property here ..but looking into a mortgage loan much more successful since seems like a credit score is way different thru Greenstone .. Good luck anyone else hope you have better service n luck...

Chandler Beson: The people that work here are VERY nice. Not sure why there’s 1 stars but my experience is impeccable. You might have to wait but maybe some of you should learn patience.
Don't Go: Horrible service.
Stephanie Navarro: The drive thru is currently open. There is staff on hand to do daily business. I just needed to do a deposit. It was not too busy...there were 3 open drive thru's. They were full when I arrived but I only waited maybe 2 minutes. The staff is super courteous & helpful!
Thomas Brian: Kurt at the Okemos branch and Dan at the East Lansing branch and their staff have provided me exceptional service. I've done business at several banks and Independent Bank has always gone above and beyond for my personal and business needs. Thank you Independent Bank.

Mike Jewell: Worst experience I have ever had at a bank. DO NOT GO to Kiera. She is all about wasting time and being a horrible rep. I wish I could leave 0 stars. Took me 30 minutes to drop cash off for a business loan. No lines she just took her time and made it obvious she hates her job. Whoever management is, do yourself a favor and get rid of her. I have been training employees in customer service for 10 years. She will cost you business. She already has with me.

She answered all of my questions clearly and thoroughly. If you want to buy a home she and Dart Bank are your best bet.
