They do not speak to customers nor present themselves professionally. They literally stand there in that tight area joust looking at you the customer to speak. Highly rude. Justin: I went in to get my two ears pierced, after my left ear recently close. The woman at the counter was nice and patient. Me and my family had no problem looking at earrings to find the right one to be pierced with. The piercer, Jasmine, even found out my left ear hadn't closed, and slowly put in an earring without any pain. The rest of the piercing went smooth. Highly recommend Piecing Pagoda!

I was with a group and after we paid our bills, the waitress went around to everyone at the table who had not tipped a set amount (still don't know what the secret amount was) and in broken English solicited them to change their receipts to reflect the amount she wanted. I was one of those unfortunate souls she picked out from the herd. She wanted me to add an extra 10 cents onto my tip. No idea why. It was embarrassing and soured the entire dining experience. Stay away!

One of our group ordered sushi that wasn't brought out until after we were done with the rest of our meal, and we didn't get even an apology. When I wrote in less than an 18% tip on the check I was instructed by our server that I was required to tip at least 18%. The service wasn't worth even 10%!

Angela Casier: My preference is ZERO stars!! We're a party of 4 with reservations, waitress just giggled mostly when taking our order. I asked the waitress if I could order double vegetables instead of rice, she giggled and said no then giggles some more. We upgraded for a total of $14 for VEGETABLE fried rice.....with about a dozen peas & diced carrot pieces mixed in the rice for 7 people (at the table) NO FLAVOR. One person at the table ordered noodles instead of rice.... why was I told NO to double vegetables (offered to pay if up charge) Then meat was cooked, again NO FLAVOR and then the veggies were cooked but not mixed - I received all onion and the 3 others, 2 of them received only broccoli and the what other person received was all zucchini......for the imposed added 18% gratuity added to the bill is ridiculous (not to mention by doing so, they screw themselves out of a larger tip - we normally START at 20% and increase for great/exceptional service etc) one person had to get up twice to get items since the waitress was no where to be found. WILL NEVER RETURN AGAIN, wasted $175.00 for way sub-par food!!!!

But the service here is always terrible... not to mention they TAKE a 20% gratuity without saying anything to you. 1. Now they can continue bad service and still get paid well for it and 2. Because you just TOOK from me and didn't let me decide how much you screw yourself out of a much bigger tip from me 🤷🏼‍♂️

Brandi Mathison: This was so underwhelming! We went here for mine and my son’s birthday and it disappointed big time we left hungery and went to White Castle. I have a mushroom allergy and told the server and cook and the cook still mixed in mushrooms, the cook seemed to be in a very bad mood and gave no show at all. We waited 50min for the cook to even begin and it was not very busy only 2 other hibatchi grills going… the worst part is the portions were very disproportionate I got a tiny amount of rice and the man next to me got a plate full, I got a very tiny amount of chicken and as mentioned above mushrooms mixed into my vegetables (the cook tried to remove most of them but I still got several). My drink was left empty and I had to request a refill twice. This is the worst hibatchi I’ve ever been to. Do yourself a favor choose a better place to avoid the disappointment! $132 for three adults and a child and we left hungry and disappointed ☹️

I was SO SAD 😭 It was noticeably damaged and I lost 2 diamonds from the band 💔 my perfect, beautiful ring was broken 😞 I brought it in to Lucido jewelers right before Thanksgiving knowing/assuming it would probably take FOREVER to fix it since it was the holidays. I try to contact my case worker at least once a week for the past 5-6 months and no reply ever. So I reapply thinking they’ll assign me someone different and they still give me the same person. I’ve tried to contact to get a new one and no one ever calls back. I received a letter saying I’m eligible for the benefits I applied for, I’m 7 months pregnant and trying to get the help I need before my son is here. I understand at the end of the day it’s just a paycheck for them but this place genuinely does not care at all. Absolutely horrible.

But they need to account for inflation at some point.

Chibi Smith: Very inconsiderate and rude social workers will make you resubmit documents and they were already submitted. Also claim they call you but did not. I have no reason to lie about a call that I did not receive. Seem like my case worker specifically hates her job and taking her anger out on people who need assistance or else I would have not applied.

Julia milton: My caseworker's phone is always off. I will call him for weeks at a time with concerns regarding my case and he NEVER returns my calls - and then blames me when things aren't done correctly. It wasn't until a few weeks ago (I have been on benefits for at least a year) that I found out my caseworker had an email as another form of contact. Once I started emailing him he would answer me promptly. My guess is because these conversations are actually on record and can be used against him as proof that that isn't doing his job. His last email to me was very rude and unprofessional. I keep getting notifications saying my benefits are denied, but when I email him, he says that they are false and talks to me as if I am uneducated and am reading it wrong. I called the supervisor multiple times and never received a response until today. It was a woman that called me back...which is weird because the supervisor I have been calling for several weeks was a man. The supervisor was no better. Didn't offer me any kind of solution for any of my problems, proceeded to blame other departments for my caseworker's incompetence, and played the finger pointing game the entire length of the call. She refused to acknowledge that the behavior of my caseworker was unacceptable and unprofessional, or even apologize for what I have been put through, and proceeded to just assign me a new case worker. ZERO compassion... like why are you working for the people if you hate....people?? I told her that the caseworker did something to my file that stops me from participating in the PATH program, and that my caseworker through PATH stated that this was due to an error on his end, she denied the claims and basically told me there is nothing they can do on their end. So I'm monkey in the middle of two different departments that simply don't want to take the blame for whatever mistake they made. So let me get this straight.... citizens of Michigan come here....for help?! This entire process has caused me more stress than my financial struggles to begin with!! Maybe that's their goal? I mean seriously...why else would you put people through this? I'm extremely prompt with my responsibilities and always submitted any documents on time. I have been honest and open throughout this whole process and yet I'm met with staff that couldn't care less if they leave my family without food - regardless of if I did my part or not. This place is a joke and I honestly feel sorry for any family that has to deal with them just to receive some help during hard times.

Jackilynn “Jacki Raye” Dickey: Everyone here has been so kind and helpful. I didn't originally intended to stay here and had found myself actually stranded without a ride or a plan and on the chance booked a room here.Nicest room set up, perfect size room and layout, extremely comfortable bed. Absolutely thrilled to have ended up here!!!Rooms: I have loved my room and have been so comfortable, it's the closest thing to being home I think I could have ever found in a hotel setting.Walkability: There's literally everything that you would need here grocery stores within walking distance convenience stores, tubby's subs, Popeye's Chicken, Leo's Coney Island across the street... Very convenient as a place to be stuck without a ride.

Lauren Reynolds: The floor was sticky in my room, kitchenette was beat up, there isn’t a power outlet on either side of the bed close enough to charge your phone and still be able to use it from bed, there was at least 8 pieces of hair in my shower, a piece in the sink, a visible hairball on the floor, dust on the lamps, 2 of my 4 towels had hair and makeup stains on them… I know it’s a cheap hotel but you can do much better in this price range. Book somewhere else! To their credit, the bed was comfy and the staff was nice. Breakfast was also just bagged muffins, nature valley bars and instant oatmeal with nothing but hot water to mix with-not really even a continental.
